Thyrza held back her laughter until Anya was way out of earshot. It was only then that she threw her head back. "Oh. My. God! That was great!" she cackled then sat upright again.

"The look on that chick's face was absolutely priceless." she shook her head with a wild grin upon her features before locking her gaze onto Eliana's figure. "I think I like you, Eliana!" she started then reclined once more as she shook her head in amazement. "And it's really hard to get that much from me, anymore. So, Congrats."

Chuckling softly, Eliana set down her fork and intertwined her fingers with elbows on the table. Resting her chin on her hands, she smirked devilishly. "Thank you. I'll take that as a great compliment," she replied softly with a wink.

Normally she wouldn't have done so, but this Thyrza seemed like she had great possibility as an ally. Well...a useful tool at the very least. Either way, Eliana decided that it was better to have her on her side for the time being. That Anya...well, she was amusing at least.

Best to take power where one could get it. She was still in the early stages of her plan, but better to start now than wait too long and be too late.

"So, did I hear you right earlier? I thought I heard you mention something about wanting to meet some doctor when I was getting some grub. What's your story, if you don't mind my asking?"

Nodding and letting out a rugged sigh, Thyrza's hand lifted to filter her fingers through her hair (it surprisingly staying up aside from it's loose nature) and moved back to rub at her neck some.

"Well... The Eons broke up not too long ago." she started, seeming as if this was information she didn't want many to hear, but it wasn't like the Eons would be getting back together. "Needless to say, I needed a job... and some bozo from this facility offered me a job here, then left me to find the cafeteria all on my own once I got here." She shrugged and closed her eyes for a bit.

"I was hopin' that if I can find the Doc, I'd know what the hell I'm supposed to be doin' here." She then grinned and shook her head a bit. "Although, I'm currently likin' my freedom." She laughed again and lightly bopped the table with a hand. "You missed how I got that one chick from earlier to get so ravin' mad!" She snerked at the memory of the tech she had angered.

Eliana listened to Thyrza's story and nodded when appropriate. Sounded familiar in a way, though Eliana had sought out CRONUS, not vice versa. "Sorry I missed the entertainment," she admitted honestly, chuckling. Good chaos was hard to find in this place...though fun to stir up. They didn't make it easy, that much was for sure, but it wasn't impossible.

"Had some fun of my own not long ago," she smirked, thinking of Doc Hakan's niece in the exercise yard. If only that reporter chick hadn't been there to calm her down, Eliana might have managed to get her mad enough to actually try something. Ah well, there was always next time...

"Of course, that's another story," she waved her hand in the air as if it didn't matter. Not now. "As for work around here," she continued, back on topic, "If you're not a white coat, it's pretty easy. Just hang out, enjoy a cold one or two, and wait. If they have something they want you to do, they'll find you. Otherwise, think of it as being...'on call' as it were." Eliana paused, taking another long swig from her current bottle. "If you were 'hired' on similar conditions to mine, that is. I'm pretty confident that you were; more so than any white coat, obviously." She smiled devilishly, enjoying her private joke. She doubted that the other had any idea of what was REALLY going on; not from the sound of it. But...a test to make sure...

"You have your innoculations already? Some sort of vaccine they give everyone that shows up here?"

"Nope!" she started and crossed her arms over her chest. "Like I said, I only just got here."

She closed her eyes for a moment as if thinking then shrugged. If it was only a vaccine, then she wouldn't mind the needle near her. Anything to keep her from being sick, of couse. Needles were somewhat of a pain to get near Thyr's frame unless you told her it was for a tattoo (which she had yet to claim any for herself) or for a vaccine. Simple enough.

"So..." She started again, opening her eyes just a bit to stare at her lap. "All we gotta do is sit around and wait for a call? What, are we like... Security or something?" Her head tilted up to give a skewed but questioning blink up at Eliana. Heck! If they were security, then this would be the best job she had ever heard of! Chaos and Havoc, 24/7. At your call - Anytime!

Not to mention drinking... Oh man... When was the last time she had a drink? She couldn't remember, that was for sure. She used to hold contests with the group gang when they ruled the city over who could hold the most and still remember most of the events. However, it was always fun to try and fight each other when you couldn't see straight either. Good times...

Eliana hid her surprise skillfully...she'd had a lifetime of practice afterall. She could have sworn that all experiments were injected immediately once they arrived on the island. Unless...she were mistaken and Thyrza wasn't an experiment afterall! No, she couldn't be mistaken. She never second-guessed herself and she wasn't about to start. Her instincts were always dead-on and wouldn't fail her now.

"Hmm...I suppose they'll get to ya' soon. Apparently, there's this vaccine for some disease I didn't bother wasting brain cells to remember the name of. Crazy island disease spread by rabid Aipom that howl at the full moon or some random s**t. I dunno. Point is, ya' get the shot, you don't turn green and explode or something equally as pleasant, so I figured, why not?"

She shrugged, waving her hand dismissively. "On to more important matters," she continued, secretly logging away this info as something to be concerned about. She'd have to ask Doc Hakan next time she saw him. "Yeah, we're security or something. Can't say I know exactly myself. Basically, we hang around here and do whatever the hell we want until they call us to do something. Only info I got out of them is that they wanted to know that I knew how to handle myself in a fight, so I figure security is definitely one of the job descriptions."

She paused, eyeing her tray lazily. "Meh, I've had enough of this for now. Wanna' head out of here?" She'd had all the food she felt she needed. She preferred to drink her calories if she could. Leaning back with one arm thrown over the back of the chair, she tilted her head with a mischievious smirk. "I'm sure we could find somewhere to have a little fun if we look hard enough."

"Sounds like my kind of job, indeed..." Thyrza mused as she lightly ran her fingers through her mohawk again. She grinned to herself on her luck but soon let her smirk fall to a frown at the thought of possibly getting a vaccine. Not to mention the reason sounded completely idiotic, but meh. If it was to keep her from getting sick on the job, why the hell not?

She perked after a moment, leaving her thoughts completely to pay attention to Eliana once more. "Hmm. I could use an adventure." she grinned with a wink sent towards the girl. "Of course, anything would be more entertaining than sitting amidst a sea of whitecoats and watchin' them eat, right?

With another giggle she stretched then folded her arms back behind her head. "Since you know your way around, I guess I gotta follow you."

Eliana chuckled softly, glancing around. Yeah, far too many stuffed-shirt techies around here for her tastes. Though, she certainly wasn't eager to return to the box they called her 'room.' Damnable stark white walls and hospital-like atmosphere...it was almost like...

Only a trace of the revulsion she felt showed on her face for a millisecond before she shoved it away. She'd be taking care of that room soon enough. She'd already ordered that the paint be sent to her room immediately.

"Well, I'll leave you to take care of that immunization yourself. They don't let us wander around the whole building, but we get more freedom than most here. Come on, we'll go see if anyone is outside right now. Lemme' get a couple drinks for the road."

She got rid of her tray and went up to grab a couple icy bottles of beer before returning to Thyrza. "Alright, to the exercise yard we trek." Eliana took the lead, heading out the cafeteria doors and towards the exercise yard, somehow completely missing the girl outside in the hall who had just provided them with such amusement.

"Sweet!" Thyrza kicked herself back from the table and stood to follow Eliana. 'The excersize yard?' she thought to herself. 'This is starting to sound like a prison camp.'

She passed by a couple of white coats gossiping as they ate, and managed to grab one of their drinks. "Thanks man!" She giggled at the male and winked.

She took a few hurried steps to catch up to Eliana and sipped at the drink some before letting her further thoughts escape her. She decided to try and find her way to get the shots needed later on when she had nothing else to do. Hell. The longer she could avoid getting the needle to help prevent her from getting some bogus disease, the better.

"So! How long did it take you to get used to the layout of this place?"

Eliana raised an eyebrow, then simply smirked at the drink theft. Eh, more for her then. She popped open one of the bottles with an expert flick, tipping it back even as she walked.

"Eh, not a whole lot to learn about really. We get more freedom than most, being security and all, but they still don't let us in the lab. Spoilsports," she quipped, brisk pace carrying her down the stark hallways. She hated these halls too...almost as much as she hated her sterile, white room. Too bad she couldn't paint these too...

"Still, there's the rooms, the caf, and the yard, not to mention plenty of morons about to provide 'entertainment,' so all in all, not a bad gig."

Not to mention the other 'perks'...but do you even know about that yet? I'm starting to doubt it... What's that moron Hakan thinking, letting a new arrival wander around like this without giving her the injection? Thought that was the automatic reaction by now for that stuffed shirt 'doctor'...

None of Eliana's passing thoughts showed on her face, thanks to years of practiced control over her emotions. She let little show if she had mind not to. Still, it was a change of pace for her to be even this pleasant to someone else, especially in this place. But, even if the other was clueless and wasn't really part of the organization afterall...she might be useful for something else down the line.

Reaching the door to the yard, she reached up only to pop the lock, then kicked the door open wide. Well hell...so much for any possibilities of further fun. The yard seemed empty for the time being...at least of any other 'guests' of the lab. The ever-present guards were of course on duty around the perimeter. Ah well, maybe later then.

"Ain't much, but it's better than a back alley," she quipped, flashing a smirk back at Thyr before striding into the open.

"With as many whitecoats as there were on break just now, you would think that there would be more than just one lab..." she noted aloud.

Upon reaching the yard, she looked around only to scowl a bit. She did, however, nod in agreement.

"Definately better than an alley..." she started then kicked a bit at the concrete walkway as if to test it. "But definately not homey."

She scanned the area again, noting the patches of clean cut grass and recently whitened pavement surrounded by fences all around.

"Why do i get the feeling that this is a prison of some sort?"

She didn't mean to say that part out loud, but she didn't look as if she was startled at all by the fact that she had. She kept a straight face and continued to look about the seemingly barren yard.

"So do you have any others?" she asked, starting up another conversation. "Friends... acquaintances?... possible sparks of interest?"

Eliana rolled her eyes at the comment, resisting the urge for once to point out the stupidity of it. "I meant 'lab' in the sense of all the lab area. The entire wing that takes up most of the building we're in, let alone the others. Not just one room."

Entering the yard, she continued her tirade quietly, "And anyway, if this place were 'homey' and covered in throw pillows and s**t, I'd be off vomiting in the corner, 'k thanks." The hell did that mean anyway? Homey? She took a long drag from the bottle, barely noticing that she'd emptied it. Sneering, she tossed the empty aside, and popped the last bottle open.

Close enough, she thought to herself silently, listening to the other and tracking her with her slitted eyes. Though more for the others than for us. Well, me at least. I get the feeling you're no different from the rest of the doops they tricked in here...you just managed to slip through the cracks for a moment is all. They'll shove you back in line soon enough.

"Others?" she answered after a bit in a lazy, disinterested fashion. "You're kidding right? From these losers? If nothing else, I've found a couple decent sources of...entertainment, if you can call it that, but they're not good for much more than that. If you push some far enough, the resulting explosions and fireworks can prove amusing." She toyed with her nails idly, eyes narrowed against the bright sunlight.
