“It is quite nice to meet you, Taka,” Chinook said. He then looked towards Amor, “You can call me Chinook. I got lost while chasing a horsefly, and so... I ended up here.” Seeing that another Modifox brought a dead rabbit as food, he knew right away it would not feed everyone, “I can skip that meal.”

Taka looked at the Rabbit and looked away, "I'll skip The meal aswell..." She said. The only one that she wanted to help out was the young Kit.

Shinoshi saw the attention he was grabbing and retreated behind Chinook. He tried to mimic the others, 'I'll skip dat' he squeaked.

Taka sighed again she turned bored now. But noticed Amor do that and was curious instanly. "Was that Rock special?" Taka thought wandering near Amor. "It this Marble Special to the Tribe?" She askked curiously.

Twilight shrugged and split the rabbit into small morsels. "I can catch more. Don't worry. I hope." She took a rabbit bite into her mouth and swallowed, before turning around back into the forest. "If anyone wants to hunt with me, that's fine."
"The rock... it's a replacement for what's special." Amor nodded wisely. "There was a statue, a great statue, of the goddess Adora. She made this tribe, and we thank her for that. The statue was from her and for her.... Except..." He sighed wearily. "The fire caused the statue to go missing. Hopefully not destroyed it..."

Taka looked down knowing that the Statue was very special.. "Oh...." She said sadly seeming to sigh. Who would do such a thing to this place..... Taka thought looking around now.

Shinoshi overheard about the statue and sat still puzzled for a bit. He hadnt lived long enough yet to understand how something bigger than him could go missing. Reality came back to him when he saw Twilight leave the food. He hadnt eaten in two days and no one else wanted it, but it felt rude to take what wasnt given to him by his father, wherever he was. Shinoshi hopped slightly towards the food. It smelt fresh still, and made Shinoshi's mouth water. Slowly his teeth brushed the leg and gained grip. Moving slowly backward he took the small bit behind Chinook where he silently ate.

Amor watched the little kit take some of the rabbit, glad that the food wouldn't go to waste. He hoped that Twilight would be able to find something else soon, since the sun was beginning to set...
Walking over to the marble rock, he dusted it with his puffy tail, making sure it was as clean as possible. Even if it wasn't the best substitute for the sacred statue, it still should be well kept.
Twilight walked around the perimeter of the camp without much luck. The land was barren of any suitable prey, probably warded off by the fire. But it has been several months since that happened, so why were still gone...?
Walking towards the sinking sun, Twilight caught whiff of something big. The idea of chasing and catching a large animal made her mouth water. She continued to creep her way towards the scent.

The brown modi was glad that the kit had taken some of the food. Seeing as Chinook had a rather small appetite, he was not that hungry, so he could last overnight. He laid his head down, and slowly began to fall asleep.

Amor smiled to himself when the rock was void of any ash speckles. Yawning stiffly, he stumbled over to a clean place and laid down, resting.
Twilight was shocked to find a lone deer, one that is lean and healthy, by a large lake. It was completly unaware of its would-be predator, and she quivered in excitement. It would be interesting how it would be hunted...
Out of pure excitement, Twilight sprang into the air and landed on the deer's back, before it was able to notice anything. But it was bigger than its hunter, and much stronger. With ease, the deer rampaged by the lake's side before kicking Twilight into the water with a loud splash.
Eyelids shot up quickly as Amor's ear caught the sound of splashing water. He could really care less if a squirrel or chipmunk had fallen in, but a creature much bigger would have to fall in to make such a noise. Something as big as...
"Twilight fell in!" He barked to the Modifoxes lazing around the camp. "We have to help!"
Not waiting for any reactions, he sprinted away, leaving a cloud of soot behind.

I have set up a list of Modifoxes that are interested, and the list of availible jobs! If you want your Modifox to have a position, let me know! But you have to make sure he or she is well suited for the job!))

Taka's ears flinged up instanly. She jogged close and her jog turned into a fast run. She was as fast as Amor! She ran on instanly coming to the water. She searched it spotting something moving and actually jumped in.

Shinoshi dropped the rabbit at the sound of distress. He hobbled his way toward the noise but was too slow to keep up with Amor and Taka. Nevertheless he tried. This was his new 'family' and he wanted to help as best he can.
Slowing down, he came to think that it was usless trying to run and swim. He looked around instead for something that would keep Twilight warm after getting him out. Leaves, a bit of an old cardboard box, some netting. Ah! Shinoshi dragged the netting through some leaves and caught up teh leaves so that it had lightly woven themselves into the netting. He held it in his teeth and waited patiently for Twilight's safe return

Amor arrived at the lake's edge right after he witnessed Taka jumping into the lake. He admired her bravery, but wondered if it was the best thing to. He also spotted Shinoshi dragging a netting along, not knowing why he was doing that. Amor guessed it was for a blanket for warmth, and nodded at the little kit. "Good thinking."
He waited by the lake, hoping that both Twilight and Taka would resurface soon.
Twilight struggled to swim up to the top, but couldn't do so. The weight of the water was crushing her, and her muscles didn't have enough oxygen to operate. She closed her eyes and wished that her life didn't have to end this way.
The dying Twilight saw a bright shining light, with the silohette of a Modifox standing in front of it. She, Twilight guess, was drop dead gorgeous, and was looking at her with mysterous eyes.
Twilight could only catch a glimpse of three hearts tattooed onto her face before blacking out.
((No probelm Ryan. And for Taka, I'll wait and see if she's good enough for the job. XP))

Taka bubbled into the water the pressure pushed against her like steal breaking a barrier. She gasped and growled resisting it. She managed to spot Twilight just in time. She was dragged down to almost the bottom of the lake and Taka rushed to save her. Taka grabbed hold of Twilight's fur on her neck watching not to dig to deep into her Fur or blood would gush out. Taka gasped agian as the weight was to much. She prayed hoping for strength...Or both her and Twilight would die.. "Please...God of this Tribe.....Help..." She Thought trying her hardest. She managed to bring Twilight up alittle but that was all. Taka almost lost the strength and almost drifted back down.

((Since no one else is posting now...))
Amor couldn't hesitate any longer for Taka and Twilight to come up, and leaped into the water. The icy cold temperature numbed him for a moment, before instincts kicked in and he swam downwards. He hadn't swum in this lake since he was a little kit, but the legs muscles began to remember as he kicked and swiped his paws forward.
Seeing the dark pelt of Taka and Twilight's sky blue fur, Amor reached out until he grabbed one of the Modifox's tail with his mouth. Almost out of breath, he tried to swim upwards, but the weight of the two bodies were heavy indeed.
He couldn't give up though. Not with them at sake. A mysterious power began to pulse through Amor's body, and he flailed up to the surface.
The beautiful Modifox smiled in Twilight's mind, and spoke words in a melodious voice. Twilight couldn't graspe the meaning of any of them, but the last sentence she spoke.
"Amor's a good person. Take care of him."
With a flick of a tail, the Modifox strided away into the bright light. Without warning, Twilight's head breached the surface of the lake and she sputtered. Air never tasted so good.
