Burning Disaster Yeah, but if he wanted to, he could just leave the speed alone, and use just his strenght against another strong guy, be just as powerful, then the next day be just as quick as a fast guy That's right, he could. But what brought this on was a question about Anc's character that I posed in the SV HQ - he's got 3 powers, plus super strength and accelerated healing.

I'd probably be able to work with a combo of two main powers, perhaps...but when it comes down to it I think Blitz, makes a pretty good point. It has the possibility to be obnoxious.
And Anc has strength and accelerated healing as character details. They don't really play much importance in combat. Sure he has the ability to pick up a bigger object, and maybe get over a broken bone faster...but it shouldn't affect the saves and powers in a fight. But I will keep an eye on it, to make sure it rolls smoothly.

So if he uses a weapon, it takes away half a save, even if the weapon weighs hundreds of pounds? OK, then.

5ilver 5treak So if he uses a weapon, it takes away half a save, even if the weapon weighs hundreds of pounds? OK, then. Yeah, it could work... as long as you waste your save as a dodge, instead of letting the bus hit you, then walking it off.

The rule is: Quote: 7. Weapons, weapon attacks--that are not power related--such as swords, guns, fists etc...take two hits to take out a save. If Anc's strength isn't a power, then his weapon use is not power related.
