well i apologise for any confusion, maybe i should have explained myself. I am much more into the visual kei scene than the new "jrock" scene. Im a Die fan, but i love vampires, elegance and beauty. i wanted a tattoo that said Die to represent both sides of my Vampiric fetish and Die.

I have become partial to Kyo's "The Emperor Is Dead" tattoo. I wouldn't rip it off like that, but I'd like something close to it. I could pull a britpunk/Kyo crossreference and write The Queen Is Dead, but I'm an American. Somehow, The President Is Dead doesn't flow well at all. Too many hard consonants, I guess.

Mainly because someone let it out of its cage, which is prohibited, except for places with leash laws.

namida_no_chi Xule][neiyu namida_no_chi Xule][neiyu Social Riot Star Hin Lovely tattoo.Look a tad different than Kyo's(I think,if I'm wrong, excuse me),but eh,no one can really tell.-sorry to butt in-Well,there is a kanji for "die/death",but in a different sense of what she wanted. So,yeah, there isn't a kanji(Unless you want it in katakana or hiragana, but that'd look obnoxious or weird) for Die's name and yes,she obviously doesn't know enough about kanji.
That and I wouldn't trust tattoo parlors with this. The kanji they tattooed on you may mean "Fish paste" instead of "Die" xd . you could get '大' - kanji for 'dai', the first part of his full name it'd make more sense than 'ヂイ' Isn't that the character that means (by its self) like large or big? Either way I don't think it could easily be interpreted as pretaining to Die form Dir en grey. Even from someone who could read it. yeah it's 'big' 'daisuke' means 'big help' or something like that doesn't it? but if you get anyone's name tattooed it can't easily be linked to a specific person. gods know there's about 1,000,000 people with 'mike' tattoos, all refering to different people [well, maybe not all you never know, someone could be a pimp] I'm not sure, I thought it meant something like "affection". But that could be the less literal translation. xd I think based on this we can determine that "die" is not a good tattoo idea: 1) It's not an actual Japanese word (unless you make it mean something else) 2) and you could be getting a tattoo of some Japanese child molester's name permanently marked on your body. We actually refer to him in Japan as だい or ダイ quite often... And if you want to get reeeal fancy, we (and the Chinese) use 堕威 as well... for Daisuke. Not 大輔 or 大祐 or 大介. So, moosey666, 堕威 would suffice quite nicely for a Die tattoo heart
