Luna Lovegood - Ravenclaw
You all need to read all 7 books in order from first to last, then all questions about EVERYTHING are answered.

OH and on the subject of "hooking up" the characters... I truly believe that JK KNEW that Harry would end up with Ginny... as soon as I read the second and found that she had a crush on Harry. Particularly because Harry wasn't too interested in her at first, then when SHE lost interest in Harry he seemed surprised. Saving her life too... and then her being his BEST friends sister and all it just made sense. And COME ON Hermione and Ron have been arguing like a married couple since the VERY first book xp

hehe,good point
you can tell pairings in any story from an early stage

anyway,i think that snape only told voldemort part of it,for the same reason
he would've thought that if he didn't say anything to voldemort,he'd get suspicious
so he said something to put voldemort's life at ease, but by not saying it all,he was trying to protect dumbledore,as he wouldn't be giving too much away

Snape overheard the first half, didn't hear the second half because Aberforth had caught him snooping and distracted him from hearing the rest. Some things are just quite simple. Even in JKR's world. smile

This was explained in the last book, Snape heard all of it, but was uncomfortable about giving Voldemort all of the information because of his fear of it hurting Lilly in any way.

WoW! you have created a real consiracy theory based on this. I don't think it's anything that deep. Maybe just a mistake made by J.K. Rowling.
