((Aww, man. I dont like it on this side of the twists. lol))
"I wouldnt call it hiding, but still I understand you're point. Hopefully it'll just have to work for me. Dont ask me how." He was almost joking now. As far as evil went, he wasnt that bad. He had mostly become greedy and power hungry, which lead him down the path of evil. He would never admit it, but Katana had changed him, and she did control him at one point, but when he figured out he was being used he hatched a plan to take out Shadow and any other demon that stood in his way so he could be the one on top.
"Alright, Brook, I want you to take a few members and approach the Vampire Queen about a temporary truce. She'll be gaining power with the recent loss of a lot of good magic on the surface, and I've already gained her trust by letting her help me get the amulet." He turned to Katana. "I want you to negotiate with the hive king. He and Shadow, from what I heard, worked together a while ago. We can use his support, and army as well."

"Fine. Come on." She grumbled to several minions, as she dark orbed to the Vampire's Cavern.

Brook dark orbed back into Shadow's lair. Her first assignment was done. She didn't know why, but Dimitrius seemed a bit stranger then usual, a bit more desperate. She let her thoughts settle and waited for the smoke to clear to see if Matt was there or not.

Matt turned the corner and saw Brook there. "I'm assuming you've completed your mission. Good." He smirked. His plan was coming into effect. ((I've got one now. Don't know how great it is, but it'll do for now)) "Here, I want you to go back and give this to the queen." He tossed her the head of the hive king. "Tell her its a present from Roman." His smirk increased as he turned to walk out of the room. "Oh, and be sure to tell her to drink of the blood left in him. I think she'll find the results quite interesting." With that, he flamed out.
Katana emerged from another corridor, and hadn't noticed that Brook was there. Her face was bruised and beaten, and her arms and legs were still bleeding from the scorch marks of the hive demons. Still not noticing Brook, obviously due to disorientation because of the loss of blood, Katana rested on a slab of stone. She needed to regain her strength while Matt/Roman found her a healer.

"Holy Shi-mmering Shamrocks." Brook stopped herself from cursing. She put a hand over Katana. She'd done this once in her entire career. She thought of Austin and her hands began to glow. She knew she shouldn't be able to heal, but she was glad that she could. After the bruises disappeared she orbed back to the Vampire Queen.
((OK, so she's switching between good and evil, technically she's neither, but I'm not sure what she'd be if she was neutral, so I'm making things up... xP, her streaks of good don't last long though, so no worries.))

Katana sat on the ground, motionless. She was almost brought to tears. Matt had humbled her to a new low, using her to get what he wanted. She didn't even care that Brook used a whitelighter's power. She was grateful for the moment of peace.
She was scared of herself. She knew she wasn't becoming good, but the lack of her usual arrogance was keeping her from feeling evil. Instead she was just feeling, which was never pleasant.

A vampire wandered into the cavern where Roman was. Shadow had acquired miles of underground caverns, and made the entire labyrinth of catacombs his lair. The vamp was lucky to find Roman, who in his short amount of time living there, had memorized the entire place. "Sir, my queen wishes to thank you. The power, its...its amazing. Our race has never been stronger."
Matt smirked, and slowly turned around to look at the minion. "Return to your queen, and tell her that there's more where that came from as long as her, and anyone else's loyalty lies with me."
"Yes sir." He bowed in honor, and flew out in bat form.
((Matt still thinks of himself as Matt, but wants the demon community to think he's Roman again, since he knows it implies a bit more power. He wants everyone to think he's still using the fire spirit, when in fact he's too scared of losing control to use it.))

Brook dark orbed into Roman's cavern. She felt better then she had since Jen died. "Hey, Matt." Brook said, she was much calmer and more confident now. She was at ease and she knew it was easily sensed. "Do you need anything?" She asked him, she seemed almost giddy.

"Yeah," he handed her a picture of a demon. "Same procedure as with the hive king. And talk to the queen about finding more targets---I mean allies." He grinned, knowing she knew what he meant.

"You want me to kill the vampire queen?" Brook asked him, wondering what he was planning. She was a bit confused, but she managed to keep composure. "There's something you should know. Jen's back." She told Matt, softly. "I saw her in San Fransisco." She told him.

Matt coughed a bit, ignoring Jen's arrival. He had assured himself that without himself in the coven, it couldnt survive. "I guess I wasn't clear enough. My fault, no worries." He walked over to her. "I want you to kill this demon." He pointed to the picture of the demon on the paper he had just handed her. "And return the head to the queen just as before."
((And what he was unsure about her understanding was that he knew she knew his plan to falsely gain allies to gain enough trust to kill them for their powers. He just didn't want the queen to know.))

"Couldn't you send Katana to deal with the Vampires? There's a certain vampire there, that I'd rather not get reaquainted with." She told Matt. "Personal life's a b***h. It comes with the territory of being half witch, you'd understand." She told him, simply.

Matt stared at her for a second. "...fine. KATANA!!"
Katana faded in, and unenthusiastically answered "yes."
"I want you to take out this demon and return the head to the Vampire queen."
"alright." She took the paper and faded out.

Matt looked around, as if expecting to find something for her to do that was just laying around the cave. The thought of having her tidy up the place did cross his mind, but he figured it'd cause more damage than it would fix. "Not as of now. I'll give you a call when I need some help."
