"Eh?" She said randomly, taking the card. "Well, Maybe we shall meet." She grinned half-heartedly. She noticed a man with a big wad of curence hanging out of his back poket. "Ohh...jolly, I say. If'n you grand old chaps exuse me, I have buissness to attend, wot?" She walked tword the man, pretending to trip. On Nonahs way down, she grabed what she could and stuffed it in her pooket before anyone noticed. She hoped up, saluted to the to passengers, and walked stedily out.

((Are you sure it's not a brand name or something? BTW Vodafone? xd ))

Arianeira took the card, slightly suspicious of Stratford. He'd heard of her. Uh-oh. The name of his ship didn't ring any bells so she doubted she'd actually been in a space fight with him but she hadn't known the military knew her real name. She eyed his uniform carefully as she followed them from the car, lagging behind slightly. Despite her misgivings, she didn't throw the card away but tucked it into her jacket pocket.

It would serve as a reminder. Firstly, she needed to track the man through the network and find out what he knew and whether he was a threat. Secondly, she needed to find out how many people knew her real name instead of her pirate pseudonym: Aeron Skyhawk. She wondered absently whether she ought to have a civilian one. Thirdly, it would warn her to be more careful when talking to anyone in future. If he hadn't known what she looked like before, he certainly did now and also knew of her presence on the planet.

She dropped her hands into her pockets in disgust - though not so that she couldn't get them out in a hurry - and made for one of the less respectable taverns on the station. She was almost certain she would not see the Captain there and it was as good a place as any to set her inquiries in motion. Getting her spacecraft back was suddenly getting more complicated than she had at first supposed.

Smiling to himself, he watched one of the females pick a pocket, while the other vanished in a huff. He pondered lightly if she knew he'd be bluffing and knew nothing of her. He headed for a bar, and stepped inside. Looking around, he walked into a corner and sat down. Moments later, he was joined by an Arulan male. He was clearly male because his face, despite humanoid looking, was purple, whereas the females were blue. Stratford nodded briefly, then laced his fingers, "Any news?" He asked, glancing at the older citizens on the next table, "Yes. I've heard a crashed ship with earth data was located in the Ultra system." The Arulan replied, his tongue buzzing like a bee on every vowel. Standing, Stratford lay some credits on the table and paused, "Also, theres a lady in this base called Arianeira El'Kara. See to it her ship gets star treatment, and repaired A.S.A.P, for me, please." The Arulan frowned, then nodded, "Certainly."
Nodding, Stratford turnt and strode from the bar, nodding to the regulars, then left. Returning to the cars, Captain Stratford glanced back, a strange sence of longing flooding him. Shrugging, he re-boarded.

Several hours later, Arianeira emerged from the same tavern, stone cold sober and lighter of pocket. She rarely drank; drink slowed the reactions, not to mention the filth that sort of inn put in it, but she'd paid for a few. She'd got someone working on finding out about the man's interest in her and she'd got timy fragments about him. His reputation extended further than she'd thought. Quite famous for tracking down pirates apparently. That could explain how he'd heard of her. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. She thought, but it couldn't hurt to find out. She'd also talked to one of the men working out in hyperspace. Her ship was still there but it didn't seem likely they were going to release it any time soon. She sighed. But to go and steal it back I'd have to have another ship... It was a vicious circle. She wondered if they were just holding her ship to be awkward or if they did actually know her name and were just looking for an excuse. She grumbled. Far too complicated.

Oh yes. Captain Stratford was well known for chasing pirates, but he was better known for letting them go. No. Stratfords true claim to fame was being the only surviver after a rouge federation vessell had stormed his ship. He'd only just made it, and his arms were still shiny from the laser burns.
Back in the present, Stratford was tapping a hand against his leg in the same pattern while he waited for the dropship to return.

Arianeira retraced her footsteps back the way she had come. In a moment of madness she decided to go back to the dock and see if there were any ships worth stealing in order to restore her own. She smiled wryly. It wasn't anything that she hadn't done before. Skipping the queues to get back to the port, she made her way to the gap in the wall she had used earlier that morning. She stepped through lightly, checked that there was nobody around and then crossed the deserted concrete to the other wall. In about three minutes she had just cut out about half an hour's wait for every else to pass through customs and the terminal. She quickly climbed the wall and slid down the other side. She looked around at the waiting ships, easily identifying the two new ones at this end of the dock that had come in about the same time. One she knew was the woman's; she guessed the other must be Stratford's.

Nonah walked around blindly, looking for a good place for a show. She'd noticed the bar, witch the men when in, and stepped next to the window out side. She noticed a small gang and had a little chat with them.
"Hey,"
"What?"
"Want some money?"
"Why?"
"You guys good pickiters?"
"Yes..."
"Give me a share and you'll earn good."
"Deal."
So Nonah walked back in front, and started playing with fire. She made fire-flays and shooting stars, as passerbys Ohh-ed and Ahh-ed. She smiled approvingly as she saw the gang wandering around, pick-poketing. She made a large fire work and some flower shaped embers.

Stratford, meanwhile, was just clearing customs. He'd had a second encounter with the guard, meant he was no having to sprint, due to the fact headbutting guards was bad form. Running into the bay, he glanced around once, nothing with a grin that the auto turrets hadn't engaged. Lowering the ramp on his ship, he sped onboard, but left the ramp down, while he activated the ship on 'silent' mode, which would take 5 minutes.

At the end of the show, she got up with the gang agian.
"Well? What happened?"
"We did good."
"How good?"
"3000 galleons"
"Total?"
"Nope. Thats your share. 5060 total."
She quietly thanked them and was off, money jingling in her poket. She went back to the transport car, and borded. In what seemed like 4 minutes, she was back at the station. She noticed her speeder right away with its sliverness. Nonah noticed that Stratford guy's ship ramp was down. She trotted over. "Good evening, Wot! I say, you ramp is jolly well down." Nonah called as she silently walked on. "A theif could bord easily!"

Peering down at the sudden speaking, Stratford nodded, "Indeed, but I doubt they'd do very well in here," he said, gesguring the bare ship. His belongings were all cloaked. Only a fool showed his wares. He smiled faintly, then returned to his task, wondering if the Arulan had repaired the pirates ship. The ship gave a soft hiss and powered up quietly. Peering back down, James said, "I'd advise you mind out now, or you may get caught in my up-draft".

Arianeira moved backwards, almost disappearing into the shadows. Why now? She wondered silently, cursing her luck. She'd have to wait until they both left and hope that neither of them saw her in the meantime. It was a pity. There was a silver solo-ship a few down from Stratford's that she'd taken a liking to but it was not worth the risk. She felt a momentary regret that he was leaving the planet already. She'd already paid the boys to find out about him.

Vroop vroop vroop Security teams to hangar one. Personel attacked by known male. Subdue if possible. Kill if you must. "Right." Stratford said, pushing Nonah away from the ship and running into the cockpit, firing the engines up and floating forwards. Glancing at the screens, Stratford swore as he saw the auto-turrets lower. Glancing at a lower screen, he saw Nonah still in harms way of the turrets and swore. Hitting the weapons control, he made a rash decision. Targeting each turret with three turrets, he fired weak blasts to damage but not destroy them. He'd never leave somewhere defenceless. Not with the enemys. With the weapons destroyed, Stratford eased the ship closer to the exit port, then hit full power, knowing he was far enough from anyone to roast them. As soon as he was clear, he'd hit the hyperdrive engine and escape.

((Not really sure what's going on...))

Arianeira's hiding place was rudely revealed when the unnaturally bright searchlights flooded the immediate area. Her eyes burned. Ow. She thought, along with a chain of obscenities as the sudden change in light intensity burned the back of her eyelids. She threw her hands across her streaming eyes, wondering what the hell was going on. Dimly she heard the loud voice saying something crisply over the speakers but she was only dimly aware of it as bright spots still obscured her vision.

The explosions caught her attention. They were close at hand and definitely represented a danger. She closed her eyes; they were next to useless at the moment and this allowed her to focus more on her hearing. She dropped into a fighter's crouch - minimising the target - and drew one of her knives. The gun would have been more useful but she didn't know what she was aiming at so the melee weapon would be more useful. Knowing that her life depended on her actions in the next few minutes she felt for the place where she knew the wall met the dockside. It would afford her some shelter from gun-blasts and she positioned her back against it, straining her ears for any sign of danger.

[Basically, James headbutted a guard, who didn't like it much. He called for James' arrest, but James just fled in the best way you can. Under persuit, and with big explosions.]

Outside the station, the Hyperon gave a twist in victory, while the station bases locked onto his ship. While the main weapons charged, James key'd in the jump co-ordinants for his next leap, engaged, and vanished two seconds before the cap gun shells exploded where he'd been.

Dumbfounded, and blinded by lights, Nonah sprinted to her speeder. She hoped on and before she could do anything, a gaurd reluctantly ran to her and grunted, "No one leaves the premisis." And she replyed, "No thanks, ole chap." She said as she kicked him out of the way. She speed away, hitting a few gaurds on the way. Nonah cursed. She heard the over-com repeating, Unidentified Female. Silver speeder. "I say," She mumbled. "that ole chap seemed to crack. Ahh, well.." She went faster, soon ot of the hanger.
