Shadkim Kai_lovergrl Shadkim Kai_lovergrl Shadkim Alrighty, here is my theory: Points I want to make: -I like the idea of Rem faking L and her's death. I hadn't thought of that. Anyway: 1. He died while eating cake- maybe he posioned himself knowing that Watari was wiped out? 2. No one saw him in the hospital EXCEPT Cheif Yagami! And, as we all know, he is VERY good at lying! (He's the one who told them L was dead.) 3. Rem could have died after killing Watari! I mean, if L was a threat to Misa, then why wouldn't Watari be? She could have died right after writing Watari's name! 4. NO ONE CHECKED THE DEATHNOTE! There is NO proof that L's name, or Watari's for that matter, was written in the book. They never showed you. There are my main points! whee I agree with you on all of those but as soon as he killed watari, wouldn't he have died right then and there? Not a few seconds later of living and thne dying. that's what happened to the other death shinigami dude that liked that one girl. sweatdrop That makes me wonder.... was L's death taped? There were cameras all over the building and that would mean it had to be. If that is true, then couldn't someone access the tape and time the seconds between Watari and L's death? (They would also have proof that Raito caused it- his evil grin) But Raito was looking down. There wouldn't be a camera inside the floor. It is all up on the for corners and walls. Ah, but there could be! Some camera with just the right angle.... L is paranoid like that! Plus, his fortay is watching cameras- he wouldn't want to miss a thing. Of course, you could still be right too. wink Yea L is crazy with camera's and all but he's not like obsessed. sweatdrop But it is true. I'm still in doubt. I believe he is. HE HAS TO!!

Here is my theory.
L did die. crying BUT, before he died, he made a deal with the Captain of the Death Note guild (That's you, Lim!) to get her minions (and that's us whee ) together and ERASE HIS NAME FROM THE BOOK!
L revives from the dead and , as our part of the deal, becomes our slave for two months

Okay, well... my biggest thing about all of this is... We never saw a corpse! It makes me think that like rabid L fangirls in black suits and black sunglasses or black ninja outfits swooped in and stole it to twistedly try to bring him back to life!

Kai, I agree... it's no where near as fun anymore. I think back to the beginning of the manga and remember how excited I was while reading it. But now... well, I'm kinda excited now that Mello's "accident" has made him somehow a bazillion times sexier (I think it's because his hair became less prissy and more bishounen-hot), but still, it's certainly no where near as fun. Raito's escapades don't interest me as much. And I think I'm two or three chapters behind at the moment... sweatdrop Man, wasn't that "free money" thing hilarious?!

You're right about Mero, he is sexier with that scar and all. The free money thing was funny. It makes me think of those comercials where it's suggested to literally throw money at the problem... which is exactly what Near did! I also think it's not as fun anymore without L there. But, it's like a sequel to a great movie, even if it's great it's still not as good as the original. Even if L comes back... yeah it'll be great, but the original feeling of L vs Light will never be returned to us. So sad cry
