Olorin90 [ ryuki ] I watched both versions with the subs and dubs, and I thought the english voices fit better.
It just seemed more natural for some reason. Which one did you see first Sub or Dub? Around episode 10 for dubs, then I started watching the subs up to the point where I was at with the dubs.
What your getting at, I think, is that since I watched the dubs first, then I would find the voices more natural.
It was more that Renton's sub voice was really deep, and Hollonds voice didn't really fit well. Among other differences.

Only Kayako can type in colors, -.-'...
The work of the Japanese voice actors, in my opinion, was amazingly better. In the dubbed version, Renton sounds like an a**. ㊊

And sucking up is an art form, your not doing it subtly enough.

It was suprising to say the least. We all know all the characters he dubs but nobody knows him.
I bet he feels really jipped sometimes.

Which do you Prefer? Sub or dub?
(For those of you that don't know, Sub means Japanese voices with English subtitles, and dub means English voices no subtitles.)
I know a lot of you watch this series on Adult Swim, but do you really think the voices fit the characters? Which ones do you think don't fit their character?
Myself, I prefer sub. I don't like American voice actors that much. Don't get me wrong they have done a good job in some animes, but this one I think they just failed.
(Also, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I couldn't really see where to put something like this. Plus I notice people usually are on the main page here.) thats weird i odnt liek the jap voice actors like hollands voice .. kidna sucks

i dont like the jap hollands voice but i think that either dub or sub in this series is good (depending on wat u prefer)

O__O I think he sounds a little more fitting than Crispin Freeman, mainly because the latter's voice doesn't work well when he's trying to act angry and all that. The Japanese voice has an air of intelligence about it. razz

Personally,i think it all depends on what you are used to. the people who started watching the show with dubs probably like it better than subs. and vise versa. I only watched a couple episodes with the subs and at that point i was so into it that i didn't really notice, but i did think that some of the voices were better in english cause they fit and i was used to it. But if you do watch a lot of subs than most of the time you tend to get used to it. Like, i watched most of naruto in subs and like it better, but thats a different anime so yea.. 3nodding

I would have to say sub because i don't really need them to understand what they are saying where as with dubs the mess up with alot of what the characters actually say let's take naruto for instince. Naruto in the english dub says believe it alot and the only reason for them doing that was because nothing else would go with the lip movements of Dattebayo even though Believe It itself doesn't go well with the lip movements either.
