I suppose that's true. surprised I looked through it a little better, and it's not as bad as it first seemed. If anything, if I wanted a Space Marine, I could try to adapt the rules to allow it. One of the guys at the store said that he was going to try and start a campaign for the system. I'm going to have to try and make a cool character to play. biggrin

in addition Space MArines dont follow around inquisitor in the retinue like the rest fo their lapdogs. Marines get sequesterd from their company and are released afterwords. Only the Ordos Xenos has regular access to marines in the form of the Death Watch marines seconded to teh Death Wacth come from a host of different chapters. But there is only so many death watch marines to go around. And most are fighting the nids. They also travel in a smallest elemental of a kill team but could attack with company + size forces

Yeah, but if I wanted to play as a Marine who wants to kill aliens, I would want a rule for that. domokun

Yesterday I saw two armored vehiciles with Cobra logo painted in black. It seem Canada is overflowing with Cartoon fans, cause it's their stuff with the logo's.

we had to paint over all our logo because a bunch of engineers had there stuff painted up and the enemy used it to target them. Of course when they saw our logos they hid.

Did you really? How big is it? surprised I haven't played the game for a while, all my Tau are buried under illustration board and assorted papers. If I had a job I could afford pieces again, but I still wouldn't have anyone to play with. crying

I think once I get a job I'll be able to beef up my army. I need two more Broadsides, maybe another Hammerhead, and a couple snipers to round out my squads. I should probably also get some more Kroot, but they are a pain in the rear to keep from falling apart due to all the spiky bits that catch. I love Kroot though, despite their spiky bits. After that, I should have well over 2k points for my Shadowsun to command, and I'll have to see about how much it costs to try and find some Steel Legion. heart

I have just short of a full Codex Marine company. Note that Space Wolves come in Great Companies that are the same size as a regular chapter. I have 75 Marines 7 Terminators 6 Wolf Scouts 2 Land Speeders 1 Leman Russ 1 Land Raider Crusader Ragnar Blackmane Wolf Priest Iron Preist Logan Grimnar and I paid only like 400 dollar for all of it. Steel Legion is going to be hard to find. Best bet is Ebay. I personally suggest Cadians they have some nice new models coming out since the new Codex lands next month. Their is also a good selection for the Catachan range coming out. Both armys get new command squads. And the Guard overall gets gobs of special characters. Their is only only guy I feel is missing from the Codex and that Col Schaffer and his Last Chancers

Yeah, but I really liked the look of the Steel Legion figures. I love the gas mask look. heart I don't like the figures where you can see their funny faces, unless the figures are the Sisters. I'll have to pick up the new codex though to see what they get.

Yeah I think in a regular army you could include at least 4 named characters. Oh course some of these would make for some great G.I.Joe conversions. The Catachan guy Harker has roadblock written all over him
