Wicca is not a religion, although it is a structure which embraces paganism as it's religion. here's an analogy: catholocism and christianity are different. Christianity is the belief that Jesus is the savior, who will free us from sin, as a "sacrifice," such as the sacraficial lamb. Started By Paul, a man blinded by God, later healed, and was told to spread the word. He was, at the time, a pagan. He was one who was sent do KILL christians, but the realization that Christ is the true savior has converted him. Catholocism may be concidered a branch, although it was there from the start. seperations, due to people not believing exactly the same way caused branches. Catholocism is a brance if christianity. Catholics are people who embrace chritaiantiy as it's religion, as it's basic belief structure. Paganism is a religion, whichcraft is not. therefor, they can not be the same. I know that the F word is just a word, but I do not wish for people who may be lying about their age/are here, but not posting, see that word, or become acustomed to swear. it is morally wrong. For your reply on the hypocrites, I understand that they are my peers. I do not follow them, but they are my peers, such as my peer may be a person my age. A person in the same group. Someone of the same intelect. doesn't mean that I agree with them, or follow them. Keep in mind that Jesus is a jew, but he was threatened to be stoned, for not complying with them, or believing exactly the same way... they were his peers.

I hope that was a joke, or I would feel really sorry for you, for having such a bleak outlook on this... "discover"? nah... more like... pseudo science gives evidence to the nonexistance of ANY form of religion. Should religion not exist, mankind is still more apt to being moral... it's easier in the long run... and scientists believe that doing good for others actually make you happier(I think it was... the seratonin...(SP) that made you happier...) BTW. it is scientifically possible for a virgin birth... although it is highly improbable.

EDIT: also, I am tired of stating(although this may be the first time I have stated in this guild) that the 'molestation scandal" is being hyped up by the media... looking for material, so they can be recognised... as I had said earlier, it's a religion with one of the lowest % of such happening... it is, though, apt that anyone would, given the right circumstances, become a molestor. Because such a vast amount of members of the Catholic church(over a billion), it is probably gonna hold more molestors... please not that the % is smaller... *is having a hard time explaining this* here's an analogy: let's say that the Christianity has 3000 molestors, jews have 800, muslims have 500, and buhddists have 700. If each had 3,000,000,000, then the catholics seem like the bad guys. But that's not so. each have less, and less members. judaism has much less than christian poppulace, so if that were so, it would have a larger % than if it had 1,000,000,000. But Christianity has mroe than just a billion members, that is only the count of Catholic members. but then, in that instance, the % of catholic molestors would sharply decrease. It just so happens that a few of the clergy happen to be molestors.
