Rhiko frowned, he didn't like the opinion, shinobi of ANBU level were even being consdidered posable suspects, that would be nothing short of his worst nightmare, however, at this point he had heard enough to be almost garenteed conclusive it was a shinobi who had comited this robbery. He looked around the building and sighed, the girl was talking to people about the sword, "So open and straight forward...?" Rhiko was confused by this method, it seemed dangerous, and that was why he avoided talking to anyone but the shop owner, at least till he had compiled a list of trustable bystandards. Anyone going in and out of the shop, overhearing such talk... could be conected to the thief in some way.

Part of Rhiko wanted to chew her out, and tell her to quit acting so obvious, but... he dismissed it, feeling it wouldn't make any difference, and doing so publicly, would only draw more attention to them. Another sigh, and he slowly made his way over to where the sword WAS. He glanced at the area around, the floor, the wall, and the display rack itself. He was searching for clues, he only hoped it wasn't too late to find what he needed.

Karite walked up to Goto very closely and began to talk in a low muffled voice. "I know you know who did this. Only two shinobi in all of kiri got this kind of skill to pull of a job like this." Karite said eying his gennin.

Goto nodded and looked forward talking lower then Karite knowing his Wolvine ears could pick up anything. "Yeah, none other then Roto, and Kenji. Ye old team mates could pick pocket anyone or anything with precision, but they never did care much about the way of the shinobi. All they wanted was to fill there purse. I know they live on the forbidden island. You may have to subject your team to the horrors you had to go through so many years ago."

Karite remembered the training he endured before his exams to become Chunin on that island. The nightmares and scars still haunt him, but he owed it to Goto he had gotten to where he was. "I understand Sensei. If it is alright with you, let them come to that conclusion on their own." Karite knew it had been years since he had a teacher but Goto was one teacher he would never let go. Goto nodded, but did not say anything. Karite was teaching them a lesson about shinobi.

Rhiko examined the area around the sword rack, unsure what he would find, at first, his searching came up completely blank. He looked around a bit more, and found something that was out of place, and simply beyond peculiar. There was a grass, well, some type of plant, tracking up the wall! He followed the trail of residue to the luckily intact remains of a plant. Slowly he picked it up and examined it, "What... is this?"

The plant was a kind he had never before seen. Nothing like this ever grew in Kirigakure... at least not to his knowledge. His curiosity peeked, when it seemed he had finally made a step in an actual direction. And unfortunately, his and everyone's suspitions would now be solidified.

The plant residue on the walls, tracking along it to the floor, would only bring someone to conclude, the residue, and plant was originally on the culprit's shues, and was tracked onto the wall as the culprit did, what only a shinobi could perform, a wall walking.

There was still no clues to the culprit's level of skill, seeing it was something even every member of his team knew how to do, and they all were far from very skilled. Rhiko took the plant, and stuffed it in bag. He stood up, and walked over to the owner, Karite, and the Fubuki boy. He quickly called out to Mizu, "Hey, Mizu, can you come over here a sec?"

Mizu stood in silence she and her plan had been ignored; it didn’t seem like a bad plan it’s not like she mentioned that the sword was stolen, but she hadn’t even mentioned Goto-san’s name or the fact that they were looking for the sword stealing culprit. . Her eyes showed a bit of sadness, Mizu feeling a bit discouraged. This wasn’t going the way she imaged it in her mind; if this is what happened when she made decisions, she could tell she would be the quietest in the group from now on, if she wasn’t already. As she stood there thinking Mizu noticed someone leaving the building, but didn’t pay much attention to the act.

The older genin sighed still staying in that same spot, she noticed that there was talk of the sword but there was to much of it to do the questioning on her own, she decided not to bother with it at the moment as she noticed her sensei’s movements. She turned her head slightly to observe his sudden movement. She observed him further as he began to whisper to Goto-san, her curiosity peaked as she began to read their lips. Reading lips didn’t go to well with Karite seeing how his mouth was covered though it worked well enough with Goto. There mouths moved to quickly for her to read what they were talking about clearly but at that same time her ears gave her the advantage. Mizu caught every word of the conversation thanks to her sensitive ears, lucky for her she was Wolvine. “Sensei’s old teammates…Roto and Kenji. The forbidden island seems like an intimidating place…” Mizu was torn away from her dazed thinking state by the voice of Rhiko; it seems he was summing her.

Mizu’s insecurities rose once more as she walked over to the group “Yes…?” She said, she was creating her own discomfort. But at least she now new all the information they’ve been searching for. She would let her teammates know as soon as she knows why they had all gathered here, and then she would apologize for ease dropping on Karite and Goto’s private conversation.

Rhiko smiled at Mizu, and quickly unvieled his discovery, "I think I may have found our first clue," he began as he reached into his bag, pulling out the remains of the odd plant, "This, and its residue, were tracked from the ground beneath the sword's display rack, and up the wall to the rack. This plant is not native to Kirigakure... at least... I've never seen anything like it... this may be our first step to finding out from where, and to where the culprit might be going. Also, with that informaton, maybe that can limit our suspects down just a bit... and posably jog your memory Mr. Goto."

A pause followed for a short time, then he wraped up what he had to say, "On top of this... this clue reveals that the culprit, was as we probably all suspected, a shinobi. From now on I'll refer to the suspect as, the shinobi, to make it clear... the shinobi made one surprizing mistake... he left his foot print, so to speak. As I mentioned the plant's body was on the floor at the base of the wall on which the sword rack still hangs, and the residue, was tracked up the wall from that point. This causes me to belive the plant was on the shinobi's shoe, and the residue was rubed off on the wall, as the shinobi did something NO common thief could, wall walked... the same thing we trained to do not long ago. Knowing now, that our suspect is a shinobi... we need to be even further on our toes. Most likely... this shinobi is far beyond our skill level."

Finally with everything he had to report said, he looked at Mizu with a smile, though her ways of gathering clues were far different from his own, she still could have gathered something interesting, "Mizu, from your solo investigation, have you discovered anything? If not, I should head to the library to do some research on this plant, becuase as far as I've gotten, this is my only lead." he finished with a quiet sigh, anoid how empty handed he really was at this point.

Karite eyed Mizu, he had forgotten how well she could hear being apart of the wolvine clan. She most likely heard the words Goto spoke, but if she spoke them he would silence her. She did not need to speak of that island until it was time for them to go there. It was one place that they would have to see to believe. The mere name of it was enough to cause nightmares, to those who have lived in its woods.

Mizu stared at the bizarre plant as she listened to Rhiko’s explanation.

Mizu inwardly smiled as he addressed her again, she may be useful after all. “I believe I know all the information we could possibly need. I got it from a reliable source.” Mizu said glancing at the two older men, if you weren’t watching her intently you would have missed it. Mizu decided she would lower her voice as she told the rest of the information “The name of our culprits are Roto and Kenji. Rhiko you are right about the shinobi part, though they don’t care much for the way of the shinobi, so I’m guessing that means they don’t play fair. I don’t know there current skill level, I just know they use to be sensei’s old teammates. They currently are living on a dangerous island, I wont say it’s name unless sensei wants me too. I don’t know if they are currently on the island know or if they are somewhere else in Kiri…so I guess I don’t have all of the information we could need.” Mizu didn’t tell the extra information it didn’t seem to important to the current mission, but as she finished sharing she stepped a little closer to Goto and Karite. “I’m sorry I ease dropped on your conversation.” Mizu softly whispered her apology to them as she bowed deeply.

Rhiko listened to her information, and his face quickly became very angry, he quickly turned and faced the owner of the shop, "Damn it! You lied to me! You knew all along?! You have got to be kidding me! I told you I need total honesty... and Sir Karite, you keeping this information from us was just as unfair! This isn't an excersize, it is a mission, and I intend to take as seriously as it should be!" Rhiko's eyes became concentrated on the shop owner, "Now, no more lies! Tell me all you know about Roto and Kenji...no games!"

Mizu stared in wide eyes as Rhiko went off, as he finished she nervously looked around the shop to see if anyone else heard or paid any mind to the outburst. She noticed a few glances from the browsers near by but it didn’t seem to capture there attention for long.

Mizu slowly looked back to the older men with an apologetic look in her eyes, the genin began to doubt of she should have said anything at all. Still looking with eyes that begged for forgiveness, Mizu waited quietly to see how this would play out.

Goto was about to speak when Karite interjected. "Roto and Kenji are old team mates that didn't have what it took to be shinobi. Not much else you need to know then that. If you must know their profiles they are in the Shinobi archives in the library. I suggest all three of you go there. I have something else I need to take care of here. Rhiko and once again I will remind you, don't not disrespect you superiors as hard as it is. Sometimes it may call for it, this is not the time. I have your best interest at heart. Remember that." Karite said eying the boy with a scolding aura. Goto knew well the only two who could sneak in her alive was Roto and Kenji but didn't know if it was right keeping it from the kids about how strong they were.

Hearing their next location Mizu prepared to leave, bowing to Goto and apologizing one last time, she began to head toward the door. “I wonder what’s to come after we find out all we need to know about Roto and Kenji.” Mizu mentally sighed at the thought of the two names, the thought of one was bad enough but now they would have to challenge two shinobis. Mizu pulled away from all of her thoughts once she reached the door. She would wait for her teammates to catch up at the library.

Rhiko growled, and reluctantly let the owner off the hook. He turned and made his way to the door and ran down the street, he had two things to find in the library... a record of the two ninja, and a book of plants. He turned back to the owner before leaving and bowed, "I'm sorry for my outburst... I will be back again, hopefully with results... and a better aditude. Have a good day in the meen time." And off he went...

[Enter- Rhiko]

Rhiko re-entered the shop, and gave a big thumbs up to Karite, he walked up close, as to make sure no one could over hear thier, conversation, he stood there, and spoke in hushed tones. He was still a bit sore from being lied to, but he would dismiss it this time, "Dispite your dishonesty, we were able to research and confirm that the most likely suspects for this crime... are Roto, and Kenji. Also, from the clues gathered here at the scene, we have a posable location for their hisdeout, The Forbiden Island. Mizu was able to do some research on this island, and was able to procure some information that I found quite interesting. However, I have no doubt... you already knew all about this island."

Karite leaned against the counter with Goto standing right beside him. "Of course I know of the island. I live there in the ANBU HQ. I have known about that island ever since I was a jounin. It is were I take my exam to become an ANBU. So yes I do know of this island and how to get there. So I suggest you all stock up on some food and sleep we move out at midnight." Karite hopped up on the counter and unsheathed his Katana. "So Sensei, do you remember this blade? It is the blade you gave me the day I became a chunin. You said no one in your mind deserved a better blade then I at that moment. I have kept it and it has served me well."
