Minnie stopped a moment to ponder what Lea had asked. "I believe those are called Nobodies. They take the body of those who have been subdued by the Heartless and made into Dusks, or if the body is strong, a more powerful form. But there is an organization out there with the bodies of those who didn't change appearance at all..." She explained.
"If I may interrupt. Queen Minnie... Merlin said that some of the Organization looked as they did before, but some of them had changed drastically. I heard that Xaldin, the Organization member who died in Beast's castle, was actually just a simple scientist, not a brute as the picture I have of him." Soul reached into the one pocket in his attire that wasn't ripped and pulled out a small photobook. This had a couple of pictures inside. When he opened it, he flashed a picture of Xaldin to her. "Merlin took this picture as Xaldin fled from him in Twilight Town." He indicated the brutish body. "The real man behind Xaldin was merely five foot and five inches, scrawny, and not too smart. After following Xehanort, He recieved this body." Soul infomed. He turned to Max and Lea, "Merlin told me." He added, as if that held weight to them.

Lea glanced over at Max and quirked an eyebrow and he shrugged. Neither of them really knew what to make of this new guy and his name dropping. But Lea thought of something... "They were never meant to exist..." She said, repeating something she had heard in a dream, mostly talking to herself. "But... he had a heart. Axel said he did. If he had a heart than why was he not supposed to exist... but maybe Axel was wrong... maybe Roxas didn't have a heart. The pieces just don't match up." The girl was obviously frustrated, and having thoughts that she couldn't understand. Max shook his head and sighed, "Axel and Roxas again, huh? You know, sometimes I think you have some serious issues. I mean, obsessing about your imaginary friends-" "They're not imaginary, Max!" "Oh, I forgot," The boy rolled his eyes and did air quotes, "They're your dream friends."

"Axel? Member twelve of the Organization?" Soul wheeled around. Apparently, he knew something. And from what he though, she knew something more. "Merlin told me about him, but I'm not sure about that Roxas..."
"Sora." Minnie said quietly. Soul looked confused.
"Sora? What about him?" Soul asked.
Minnie looked at him and the others, but looked away just as quickly. "Nothing, just mumbling something."
Soul wasn't convinced, but he let it drop. Turning back to the strange girl who seemed much more interested in the books lining the walls then the conversation, he asked again, "What do you know about Axel?" He was jumping to conclusions. He didn't even know how many people we're named Axel in the world. The universe. Hell, he didn't even know how the others got there!

Lea looked at the boy who was suddenly asking her questions as if he was the boss of everything. Turning back to the books, she answered in a slightly haughty tone. "Who are you to question me? Did Merlin make you the ruler of all knowledge? Or are you just a self appointed know-it-all?" Max sighed and ran a hand over his face, "She's not exactly social and doesn't take very kindly to strangers." He then decided to explain a little bit, to make up for Lea being rude. "She's been looking for Axel. It has something to do with these strange dreams she's been having..." "A scattered dream that's like a far off memory..." the girl added to herself, flipping through a physics book that she pulled off the shelf.

Soul crossed his arms. "Merlin saved my life so I could keep combating those that would destroy worlds, and Axel is one of those said world destroyers. So I'm a little interested in his whereabouts!" Soul said, his voice raising slightly. "He wants Kingdom Hearts all again so that Nobody can become whole again!" Soul explained.
"Soul, Calm down!" Minnie said, in her high, squeaky voice. Soul looked at her a moment, and nodded.
"Yes, Your majesty." He answered.
Minnie then turned to the others. "You can put your fears to rest Soul, Mickey explained to me that the chosen Keyblade Warrior Sora witnessed Axel's death. In the end, he tried to save the worlds by helping Sora face a barrage of Dusks. He never wished to destroy the worlds, only to become whole, like his friend, Roxas." She explained slowly. Soul looked surprised, if anything.
"So... Axel was a good guy? Then why was he part of Organization XIII?" He asked. Minnie shook her head.
"I don't know, Soul, but the King explained that Axel had changed once Roxas had joined. He used to be as cold and distant as the others, but when Roxas came... He was so different then other nobodies, Axel took a shine to him." She informed. Soul digested this slowly.
"Max, you do know that your father was fighting with Sora all this time, Am I correct?" She asked. Soul looked at Max a moment, before recognition dawned on him.
"Hey! Your Goofy's son!"

Max nodded, "The one and only Max Goof." He pointed to his chest with his thumb and smiled. "If you know my dad you probably should have noticed the resemblance already..." Meanwhile, Lea curtsied to the Queen, "Excuse me for a moment..." She said in a hushed voice and left the library. She remained calm until she thought she was far enough away down the hall that no one would hear her, then she set off running. The girl ran and ran until she got to the garden, at which point she collapsed. She hadn't cried in months.... not since the incident with the heartless... but now she was finally letting it all out. She was sad and angry and confused and the emotions rushed out of her in the form of sobs and stifled screams. A burning red ring of fire formed around the place where she sat, hugging her knees. She soon found herself feeling the emptiest she had ever felt and a pain was burning, white hot, in her chest. "ROXAS!"

Soul smiled woefully. "Heh, actually, I don't really know him, nor Have I seen him, but I've heard stories of him from Merlin and some of the others I've met while fighting the Heartless." He explained. He turned to Lea as she muttered something about excusing her, but Soul just shrugged it off. "Bathroom, I guess." He gave a reason for her, even though he knew nothing about her, like he was her keeper. Or just an educated guess, you never knew with Soul. "But Minnie here said your father was traveling with Sora, that pretty much led me to belive your father was Goofy, Donald, or Jiminy. Since you don't look like a Duck, or a cricket, for that matter, I went with a logical choice." He nodded a moment before continuing. "But I can get a guess what your father looks like now, which is nice." He explained. Looking in his pictures, there was only one of the group, and that was Sora and Riku, taken after Axel had fallen. "I don't know where Merlin got these." He added, to himself more then anyone. He looked up sharply as a slightly higher pitch filtered into the room. "You hear something?"

Max was going to say something about how he was more handsome then his father, when Sol pointed out the noise. Max, having better hearing than a human, could tell it was Lea's voice even if he couldn't make out the words. "It's Lea... There could be trouble." He flipped his gloves so that the blades would be out and ready for combat and ran off. By the time he got to the garden, the fire was gone, but there was a ring burned in the grass around the girl, who was laying still on the ground, not moving. Max froze.

When Max ran out, Soul stayed behind Momentarily. "Be back in a sec, Queen Minnie!" He said, rushing out the door. Minnie looked slightly frightened, not for the castle but for the young one's safety. As Soul ran after Max, he was barely able to see some flame out in the garden from the walkway, and that only quickened his face. As Max Ran for the Stairs, Soul hopped on the ledge and flung himself down. Landing neatly, he was able to meet Max heading out the door. As they ran together, they both skidded to a halt where Lea lay. Soul blinked, unsure. "Disney Castle is supposed to be protected from Heartless, so what happened here?" He said, voicing his thoughts.

Max ignored the other boy's question, running over to Lea instead of answering. He rolled the girl over onto her back and saw that her eyes were closed. Her heart was beating, and she was breathing... she was just unconscious. His eye caught sight of two little dark tear looking marks under her eyes, in the center of each cheek, that he had never seen on her face before. He traced one of them with a gloved finger, she flinched, they were definitely something new... After he was sure her vitals were normal, he lifted her up, which was easy, considering her thin frame. Her hair had fallen out of it's hair tie and was spiking back and sticking up in some parts. Max looked at the ring of burnt grass... "She controls fire... but that doesn't explain what happened... Let's just get her inside..."

Once Max had Lea safely situated in the library, he began pacing a little up and down the room, his gloves still with the spikes out in case anything threatened them or the queen. "Minnie," He said, forgetting formalities for the moment, "You know more about healing than I do... does she look alright to you?"

Soul headed into the room after Max, only catching the last of his question. He looked at her a moment, kneeling low and examining her face. "She's been crying. Look." He said, trailing his finger down her cheecks. "Her eyes are puffy and the rim of her nose is read and a little wet." He stood up and crossed his arms. "If anything... I think it was something I said."
Minnie looked at Lea and examined her more closely. "I don't know what to say. She doesn't... look hurt at all." She saw Lea's face. It looked calmer, though, but still, Minnie saw the pain in it before Lea had lost conciousness. "I can't say for sure, but Soul is right. She was crying."

Max crossed his arms. "She's more trouble than she is help. Crying and then passing out, not to mention burning a hole in the grass..." He then looked at her and could see that she indeed had been crying. His face softened, even if she was a pain sometimes, she was still his team mate and friend. "Oh, Lea... I just don't know what's wrong with you sometimes..." The girl was still passed out, but she rolled over onto her side and spoke. She looked a little in pain. "A heart... He made me feel like.... I had... a heart..." The boy shook his head at his friend's mumblings. He touched her forehead, "I can't tell if she has a fever or if it's just her powers... she must be having one of those damn dreams again." "Roxas!"

Soul looked own, unsure of what to do. When she yelled out for Roxas again, Minnie spoke up. "Roxas and Axel we're best friends in the Organization. Some would say it odd... Nobodies didn't have hearts. But they we're... seemed happy in each others company."
Soul looked on, before looking back at Lea. "Minnie, can you tell me what makes a Nobody again?"
"Nobodies are the physical form of a person who has lost his or her heart to the Heartless. They have no hearts, so they forever seek to find one and complete themselves, and be whole again. Mickey told me they tried to take Kingdom Hearts, but Luckily Sora stopped the, alongside his friend Riku." Minnie explained.
Soul slowly nodded. "Max, Lea isn't a Nobody, is she?" He asked genuinely. "I mean, she keeps saying it.... 'He made me feel like I had a heart'." He quoted.

Max shook his head, "She's not a nobody." He then thought to himself for a moment, watching his friend as her face contorted in pain in her dream. Many nights she'd have these night mares of dying or of watching others die, but there was never anything he could do. Now, he could possibly get help for her... but it might mean telling something she had told him in confidence. Quietly, and unsure of himself, he spoke, not looking up from Lea. "When someone is turned into a heartless... they don't die. Right? They could potentially turn back into a human right? They could be okay?"
