The bang of the fireworks was enough to startle Parvana, making the girl jump a little closer to Flitch. She looked up to see the bright sparkling bursts of light. She leaned back so her back rested against his chest. She could feel the side of his chin agaisnt her temple as she watched the fireworks desplay with him.

Flitch grinned, letting Parvana settle in against him. He'd never really been in close with anyone else like this, and it felt... well, it felt pretty nice. One of his arms slipped around her to rest comfortably on the girl's knee, while the other was set behind him so he could lean back and have some support in the act.
"This is real nice, Vana," he commented after a minute of silence, save for the fireworks above them. "I think this is one of the best days I've ever had."
Maybe even THE best. he didn't know how to compare. But today was still great.

The night air was starting to get cool, making the silk that lay agaisnt her flesh steal her warmth. Vana snuggled a little closer to the protective warmth of the fish Sin. She turned looking up at him and smiled happily. "I think it's about the best day I ever had too."

"I'm glad," Flitch responded, smiling softly. He shifted slightly as Vana snuggled into him, not t escape the contact, but simply to make them both more comfortable.
he let things fall quiet then. It wasn't like the two had nothing to say. It was just... Flitch didn't know what to say. This was getting far into the realm of unusual things for him.
