Youko-chan Aww. xD You poor thing. That's funny, though. "Next thing I know, I'm being bent at very akward positions, for a looong amount of time, so they can see into my ear with the proper light, to distinguish, that, yes, in fact, I AM bleeding..."
Uhh... *inserts random, idiotic contribution* Uhh... I was really bored.... so I was watching Teen Titans... and that one guy, Slate (is that his name? I can never figure out wtf they're saying.... >>; ) got his mask ripped off.... and... he was all ugly and... dead-looking.
And... cadavery.
And... it was like Erik.
And stuff.
...yeah. o_o;;;;; Holy s**t! Slade looks like Erik!? I did not know that! Somebody must send me a picture! I always wondered what he looked like under that...thing. I was like "I wonder if he's deformed? He would rock if he was." Well, the verdict is now official. He rocks. That show creeps me out though. Raven has a very similar personality to my character Lex, and Raven's mother (Arella) has the same name as Lex's mentor-ish person in this story I made about her, (which I still have yet to write out). It's kinda crazy. And I made my characters back when I was twelve. I didn't know about Teen Titans until I was around fourteen, and I didn't see the show or know anything about the characters or their names until I was fifteen-ish. I was channeling the creators of Teen Titans xd .

I spent my spare time wondering if the cartoon Raven would get together with BB or if they would ever introduce Wally, or if the rumors were true and they WERE going to *gasp* replace her with wonder-girl. Thank heavens they weren't.... LOL, yeah, Slade is ugly... But he isn't supposed to be... But being dead/reborn and all(which NEVER was supposed to happen)..... Actually, for some reason, he reminds me of Spawn....

I reading my 'Edgar Allen Poe collecters book' the other day, and I stumbled apon a short story called "The Masque of Red Death". Well, I got into reading it, and it was very similar to the Masquerade scene in PotO. It even takes place in a masquerade!
That was probably where Gaston Leroux got his idea for Red Death.

See, the only difference I see is that:
1.) The masquerade in Poe's book wasn't held by a Prince. 2.) Everyone didn't die.
Although I'm sure that if it was in Erik's will, 2 would have come to pass... xD But there's really no point in killing the managers and actors/actresses right after you give them an opera manuscript to perform.

The Series of Unfortunate Events thing. I didn't freak out and scream like I wanted to because I saw it in a packed theatre. But still... I didn't expect to see Erik's face in that movie. But hey, he's famous. I guess he's everywhere.

Because when he puts on the mask hes all you know dark and creepy. So I bought it. (Duh.) It is really good. For all POTO phans I highly recommend it!

Phantom Gremlin!?
Yeah i just recently watched again those cute evil lil critters (well apart from Gizmo) Gremlins 1 and 2 ^^
but in Gremlins 2 there is indeed a POTO Gremlin ^_^ one of the evil gremlins in the science lab gets a faceful of acid thrown by another fellow Gremlin ^^' then he he hides his disfigered face with a mask. Whooot go Phantom Gremlin lol
Can anyone remember this? he also gets another scene near the end when he's playing the organ and his mask then gets removed by a female gremlin.
Anyway i thought i share you this random bit of POTO
sorry me couldn't find any screenshots and i'm not insane.

Uuuhm....I was looking at a Mad magazine comic and in one panel you see a cartoony Erik singing part of Angel of Music (I didn't really read the comic so I don't really know how it fits with the comic) and i think in the next panel someone sprays something in his face and he says something like "My cosmetics are running" (i dont know if it was erik in the second panel)

Trivial Pursuit. I was playing it with my cousin and sister, and I landed on "Arts and Entertainment" So my sister picked up a card and said "Uh oh..." I leaned in further "Were is the opera house were the phantom of the opera-" At this point, I let out an "eep" After a quizical look, my sister concluded, "choses to prowl." Now of course, I couldn't simply answer "Paris" I had to answer: "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH! PARIS!! LE OPERA POPULARE!!!!" Thats a reference. So next time you're playing trivial puruit, look for a question on phantom, 'cause its in there

Phantom of the Opera reference #1. Edgar Allen Poe's Masque of the Red Death. Okay, so that's more of a Poe reference, but whatever. It shows Erik is well-read. *drool*.
Phantom of the Opera reference #2. - From Tiny Toons, Buster is playing an Organ, wearing the whole get up, and Babs pulls of the mask. >.>; Woot.

On venture brothers last night, there was a POTO refrence. One of the brothers said "Well at least the phantom of the...(Dont remember what they said) is gone," and the other one said something like "Yeah, what was with the stupid plastic mask."
Then later on when they are in jail, you see this guy with missing patches of hair and a bright red face complaining about how he was deformed or something XD I wasn't really paying attation.

i made flag corp in my high school band this year, and our show is "lord of the rings" however, it's not the movie music; it's the older stuff. well, i was sitting on the floor during practice last week, and i thought, hmmm, that music sounds familiar, and my instructor asked, does this music remind anyone of another song; this music was almost perfect to that of "think of me", but with a few minor changes...when i get a better computer, i'm putting the song on my xanga, for all to hear...but i'll post when that happens. anyways, i thought it was kinda cool, cuz now i can do a flag routine to poto's think of me...

The year before I was in high school, the school's marching band's show theme was Phantom of the Opera. It was sooooooooo cool! All the band members had half masks. At one point in the show a guy in a Red Death costume ran around and at the end another guy dressed as regular Erik stepped onto a platform and they covered him in a big sheet (along with the band). They did such a good job ^^
That same year my middle school's concert band played a Phantom of the Opera medly and during the piece we had one of the band members dressed as Erik and run around the audience (he got bored after a while though sweatdrop )
