Indeed, Casey's sense of time was off just enough to allow Rey's dropkick to connect.
The chair went into Casey's mush with a loud smack! Said chair went flying down to the floor. With a dazed look on his face and an open cut on his forehead, he wobbles precariously on the top rope, hovering just above the announcer's table.
Styles: "Oh my God!"
Tazz: "We may have incoming, Styles!"

Rey, looking to finish the job, runs over to the nearest turnbuckle and jumps, kicking off of the top one with his feet before turning, going to dropkick Casey in the face to send him into the announce table.

The luchador's smack into his face sent Casey over the edge...literally...and plummeting into the announcer's table.
Styles: "OH MY GOD!!!"

Rey quickly got out of the ring and bent down, picking up that Casey had dropped after it had smoked him in the skull. He then turned his attention to Casey, and began to walk towards him. Once he was within range, Rey swung the chair down, looking to smoke Casey's ribs with the chair's edge.

Weary as he was, Casey still had a shred of collective thought left. It was just enough so he could grab the sides of the chair.
He engaged in an immediate shoving match with Mysterio, intending to push the end of the chair leg into his throat.

Rey felt the opposition and pushed down harder, it was now a test of strength.

"Your..... the..... one..... hurt..... Esse!" Rey said, shoving down on the chair with all of his might. He then had an idea, he jerked up on the chair quickly, hoping to catch Casey off gaurd by the sudden relief of opposition force, then shoved back down quickly.

Rey's plan worked...sort of.
When he yanked up on the chair, Casey was applying added pressure from his end. Consequently, he ended up sending himself off the table and nearly into Rey.
Rey brought the chair back down, but Casey was no longer in its path. It clanged against what was left of the table.
In response, Casey quickly stood and kicked toward the chair, trying to propel it into any part of Mysterio he could.

The chair was bounced sideways, clipping the side of Rey's previously injured knee. The luchadoor screamed in pain, putting his weight on his other leg for support.

Casey was battered and brusied and exhausted, but he smiled nonetheless.
He went for a couple of quick kicks to the knee, enough to buy him some time.
If successful, his next move will be to grab for the chair and swing it hard into Mysterio's knee.

The couple of kicks connected, making Mysterio hobble. The man was wounded, but not enough to not be wary of how much more injured he would be if this thing connected. Rey rolled out of hte way of hte chair at the last second, making it get nothing but air.

Annoyed and desperate, Casey simply threw the chair right at Rey's head.

As Casey swung, Rey made a desperate kick attempt to send the chair towards Casey, or at least out of his hands.

(I was throwing the chair, but I can fudge it.)
A quick kick from Rey deflected the incoming projectile.
Frustrated, Casey went for a lunging clip of Rey's bad knee.
