Poppy crouched to the floor as the building shook. Jessabell mewed curiously, but could not squirm from the coon's grasp.

~Skrayper cursed under his breath. "Ritanya's here..." he said softly, catching himself. The paladin ran outside, just before calling out. "Stay here!" Even around fellow warriors, he always felt it was his duty to protect others.~

Krystic nodded to Skrayper, not needing to go anywhere to see what was about to happen. The Land, what bit of it was not disturbed by Ritanya's dimentional powers, allowed the Traveler to see enough.
As if to answer Lyse's fear...."We will have to make due with what we've got."

Ritanya watched the angel appear from within the Inn.
Dear, sweet Skrayper... come to play? An angel would certainly be more interesting to rip the wings off of... she said with a chuckle as she watched the paladin.
Does your lover like what I did with the land? she asked as she spun around in the air, holding her arms aloft. I hope she appreciates the gift.

Poppy crawls over to the window, to look outside. Her lower lip pouts as she whimpers. Jessabell takes a peek, and mews over and over again, as if trying to say something. But it's Poppy, with glazed eyes, who whispers...."She's incomplete....and without control....."

~Skrayper felt Krystic's uncomfort across their link, but kept it from her. "Ritanya, I know you're in there. You can fight this!" Even as he spoke, he drew his blade and slowly approached on the ground. As he got closer, the angelic vision he had saw what they were up against. Upon her side, there was a wound that had grey tendrils extending from within her side, crawling up the length of her side. Invisible to most, but apparent to him and probably Krystic... the parasite crawled all the way to her face and mouth. For just a second, to him, it looked like she was screaming in pain.~

Silly paladin, poor Ritanya can only watch what I do. So, shall you battle me? I found the suffering of her quite wonderful as I ripped off the wings of that lovesick little bird. Yours will also be quite the trophy.
Ritanya made no move, but suddenly Skrayper found himself entombed within a sphere of steel.
Perhaps I shall let you die like this... long enough to know your friends have suffered.

~Skrayper found himself trapped in the sphere, and began to hammer at the steel with his bare fists. Though he was leaving dents in it, he was having a hard time breaking through.
Suddenly, his right fist burst through the metal, the knuckles bloody as he made the opening larger. Slowly, the angel pulled himself free, breathing heavily and exhausted.
"That... all you... got?" he asked between breaths, looking up at the self-proclaimed goddess.~

Jessabell squirmed some more, as if she wanted to help, in some small way.

Krystic, sensing the various changes about the terrain around Skrayper and Ritanya, knew that this was indeed out of her league. Reguardless, she would aid her lover in any way she could. Despite the sickness she felt, she did her best to use the diformed land against the one who changed it, sending up distorted vines to entangle Ritanya.

Ritanya felt the vines reach up and try and trap her. Oh, to play does she wish? Then I shall leave a gift for my new playmate... She turned and looked towards the exhausted paladin, suddenly causing the steel leftover from his prison to flare out in a sharp blade, penetrating his side deeply.
Delicious... that she can feel that too... she said softly, before disappearing to the screams of the paladin.
