Ai heaved a bit of a sigh and shook his head, not in a 'no you're not' but in more of a 'I should have guessed' sort of a way. "Well, flying after your friend can come later." he said, nudging her side. "You're the one who said they were hungry, so you better get yer bum over to eat." he said, just now casting a glance over to check for any scavenging animals who -might- have appeared in the minute (two minutes?) he'd been away from his kill.
It felt weird for him to think of anything as 'his' kill right then, though.
He then glanced back at his sister. "Unless you'd rather have something else run off with your lunch?" he suggested, his eyebrows raising just sliiiiiiightly.

Sen looked positively ruffled he would even suggest that! Who would do such a thing? "If somebody ran off with the thing Ai killed, I would hunt them!" she announced, a meek growl following. It sounded fierce to her ears, but no doubt was laughable to those of anyone else.
Being one of the youngest didn't mean she couldn't be protective of her family too, did it?
She jumped on the nearest rock and gazed around for the meal. When her eyes spotted it, she flung from the stone and dashed forward, not so much stopping as running into the corpse.

"They'd be in for it then!" Ai chimed in response, though the image of his baby sister hunting down another predator was a bit amusing. He managed to suppress the mental image quite well.
He watched for a moment as she ran off ahead of him, chuckling at how much ENERGY she had compacted in that little body of hers (it was amazing how it managed to slip away as he'd gotten older..), standing up to follow after her at a leisurely pace. Sen made him feel so much like a FATHER sometimes.. it surprised him like none other.
Not helping but wincing as she smacked into the kill, Ai opened one eye to check and make sure she didn't break anything (on herself...), he sighed a bit before walking to her side, placing one paw on the dead antelope and taking a large bit out of it's abdomen to allow easier access to the more 'tasty' meat inside of the creature.
Primarily the liver, kidneys and the heart, which were the primarily the top picks in a kill... however, he couldn't help but squinch out of habit at all the fluid that spilled out of the creature's gut. "There you go, Sky-princess."

The cub let out a 'hee!', and began her feast. Her brother was sosososo awesome! The next thing she said, she said with her mouth full. Somehow, the words were still understandable. "Princess? Me?"
After she'd swallowed, she shook her head. Princess. Psh. "Sometimes I wish I was the princess here, but other times I don't. I mean, it's a lot of responsbility, right? But you must get a lot of attention... But I wouldn't be able to play."
Argh, so complicated.

Only for the sake of not doing the awkward thing of watching his little sister eat, Ai too took a bite and sat, chewing on it thoughtfully while Sen enjoyed munching on the beast. His ears swiveled towards her when she spoke, eyes keeping a rather wide, though not 'ZOMGGASP!' expression while she stated her opinion on the nickname.
"Well, I'd say that's so... you'd probably have a babysitter over you a lot of the time.." so said, ironically, the royal-babysitter-to-be, "But I'm sure that if you had a really COOL person watching after you, they wouldn't mind you playing as long as they could keep you from getting hurt."
Ai licked his teeth clean before grinning.
"I mean, I'd see no problem with it myself, personally." Ai explained then added on, before taking another bite, "Then again, not all princesses have a cool babysitter like your older brother, eh?" Then again, not all older brothers named Ai were as cool as they claimed to be.

Sen's interest was no longer anywhere near being hungry, or the food that had been provided for her.
Her brother was WHAT? "You're watching the Princess?" Sen gawked at him. Just when she thought he was unbelievable awesome, he had something else! But those gears in her head worked in more complicated ways, and weren't going to allow her to simply be in awe...
She was jealous, too.
"I don't like it," the cub announced. "You shouldn't be watching someone who's not in your family. She doesn't deserve it just for being a princess."

"All of the little princesses and the princes. They're a handful at times, I guess..." he admitted sheepishly, ears flattening a bit at the scorn his sister gave to his position as a babysitter. He couldn't help it, he had come to be friends with both parents in question, thus had taken to being a guardian for their children quite easily.
"Why not?" he inquired, pulling her over with a paw to sit by him.
He gave her an expectant look, waiting long enough for her to give him the well-thought-up reply that he knew would come from her, or at least was expecting, before stating;
"Don't you wanna be able to boast that you have a cool enough brother that the royal family has to share him with YOU?" he inquired, chuckling a bit. It seemed logical enough to him.
"Besides, you get more individual attention then all of them get when they're not with their parents."

It really wasn't fair, and to some extent it wasn't logically, either, but the ground Sen stood on for the issue, for the time being, refused to shake. Stupid royal brats. They didn't deserve her brother, like she'd said. Not just because of some dumb title. They hadn't done anything worthy of greatness, all they'd done was be born!
Her expression some odd mix of a scowl and pout, Sen repeated his words mentally, then shook her head. "No, who am I suppose to brag to about that?" Seriously. She never really talked to anyone.

Ai considered this for a moment, before he realized she made an EXTREMELY valid point. "Yue, possibly?" he offered, though the boy was BOTH of their sibling. Never the less, though. "Or even to the babysat cubs themselves."
He was starting to realize that the point he was trying to make in his own defense probably wasn't working out as well as he would have liked it to. Curse his mind for not coming to his defense any quicker or BETTER than it already was! BAAAAH.
So he'd have to think about this for a while. Unless the first suggestion actually worked out in some shape or form.
Which he wasn't holding his breath for.

"Aiii," the cub whined, obviously becoming incresingly frustrated. Was he serious? Yue? That was the dumbest idea she'd ever heard! "I can't brag to Yue! You're BOTH of our brothers!"--Unfortunately--"What if he started to brag back?!"
Oh, the horror! She couldn't even bare the thought of that golden fuzzball have more bragging rights!

Ai frowned internally at the response he received from his little sister, nudging her gently as he rose up, before turning his head to look towards the looming shape of home in the distance.
"Perhaps that is so. Then again, on top of that you have the bragging rights that I taught you hunting skills, you helped in a hunt, and you got to spend a whole bunch of time with me to him, do you not?" he inquired, starting to walk back towards pride rock, glancing back to see if the 'almighty huntress' was coming along.
