Tommy nodded silently as he rubbed his eyes with the back of a wing/hand, trying in vain to get them used to the light faster. It wasn't until he heard the crash and the yell that he dropped it and saw what was going on. "Oh Christ..." he muttered to himself as he crutched his way toward the lizard-man. "Victor! Victor! Are you alright? Christ, man...just...yeah, lie still...wha...um...what did you hurt?"

"Hhurrt one of thhe...thhe thhinggs on my back!" Victor hissed though his teeth, twisting his head back around to try and see what exactly he hurt, it was one of the large leg-wings, the one on his left side. The lizardman could feel the smaller things on his back, but they seemed alright.
"Thhe...left one, hhurts fell bacckk on it" Victor looked at the extra leg on his back. "whhat a sssssccrrewed up day thhissss hhassss been"

Tommy slowly crutched closer, eyeing the limb in which Victor described. Goddamn that's ******** up. Is it broken? Or did it look that way before? "I uh....s**t, Victor...um..." he thought for a minute, trying to decide just how much Victor weighed...of course, he didn't know just what was inside that limb either.
"Listen...I'm uh...I'm going to um...I'm going to touch the limb to see if its broken...alright?" He would then attempt as gently as possible to feel the injured limb to see if its broken.

Victor's eyes widen as the Bat-man's touch to the injured limb feels like a sharp stab of pain. "Aaaaaahhhhhh!!" the lizardman shouts as he tries to pull back in reflex, but movement only seems to make it feel worse and Victor clenches his eyes, hissing loudly though both sets of teeth
"It...feelssss prretty bad Tommy...." Victor wished he had some pain killers with him right now

Tommy's eyes go wide as Victor scream. "AH! Christ, sorrysorry...s**t! Alright...yeah...that's uh...that's definately ******** broken...um...oh crap..Listen...in basic training I got a simplified version of how to set limbs...but um...not lizard limbs...and not ones at this angle...yaknow? What do you wanna do?" he asked in a rising panic.

" Itssss Ok Tommy..." Victor hissed again, panting lightly at the pain and laying still. He had never broken a bone in his life until now, plenty of scraped knees, a few sprained ankles, even a concussion once from getting his head hit by a baseball, but never a broken limb, and it hurt plenty more than any of that.

Tommy blinked a few times while his eyes frantically searched around. "Umm...yeah! Yeah, right...right...okay...I've got some painkillers back in my duplex...I'll go run over there and get them back to you? I think my duplex is closer than yours...but yeah! Alright...'n...you want me to call the labs really quick on the intercom while I'm there?"

Victor's extra tongue flicked out of his second mouth, a thin stream of drool dripping from that large snout mouth as he nodded his head. "Yeahh, yessss, sssoundsss fine" the lizardman coughed then stared at Tommy. Call the labs? the bastards that did this to him? Victor opened his mouth to protest against it, shifting his body, but the movement caused another hot stab of pain, and the lizardman snapped both mouths shut. "Yessss! fine do it, call thhem"

Tommy, not even thinking of how Victor may feel about the labs interfering with him again, quickly just nodded and crutched as fast as he could out the door. Once reaching his duplex, he quickly called up the labs...had a quick conversation with an uppity secretary...grabbed some painpills and put them in a bag...and as fast as he could, crutched back to the Chow hall. He muttered the entire time about how shitty the labs were...that they couldn't come down to help a broken limb on their worst off ********.

Victor lay there, just waiting for Tommy to get back, when Delia came in with a large medkit and briskly walked over to the Lizardman. Victor looked up at her. "whhat you doingg?" Victor started to ask when Delia hushed him, seemingly not disturbed by his appearance as she started to get out some some material to splint the broken limb, having been told by the labs what was broken

Tommy rushed back into the chowhall, nearly out of breath...only to see Victor already being worked on by Delia. He blinked a few times as he tries to decide what to do. Well...first thing was to get this bag out of his mouth. With a slight spitting sound, he let the bag drop to the floor.
"He's...going to be alright, ...right?" Tommy asked nervously toward Delia. In response he just got a quick nod as she got back to splinting.
"How're ya feelin', Victor? I brought some pain killers..."

Victor nearly let out another scream as Delia set the bone back in place, but kept his jaws clenched shut, leting out a muffled noise, his tail shaking. But Delia was quick, and held Victor's limb tight as she used bandages, tape and wooden splints to keep the leg in place. Delia made sure everything looked secure, before getting up, and with one last look between Victor and Tommy, she left.
The lizardman panted, but otherwise was ok, and looked over at Tommy, nodding. "Ssshhe wassss quiccckk about thhinggsss now wasssn't sssshee?" Victor gave a short hard laugh and shook his head. "It ssstill hhurrtssss plenty...ccouple of thhosssse pillssss sshhould make it betterr"

Tommy winced as he saw her set the bone. Things like that always made him queasy...but of course, it was probably a helluva lot worse for Victor. After nodding slightly to Delia as she made her way out, Tommy crutched slowly toward the lizard-man. "Goddamn...yeah...um...I got 'em right here...hold on 'n ah...'n lemme get you some water, alright?" he said before doing just that. After coming back he placed it near Victor's muzzle and shook out two pills.
"How you wanna do this?" he asked, not quite sure just what mouth he used to take pills.

The Lizardman had to turn his head to the side to be able to see the glass of water and the pills, his dark blue eye flicking around before moving a bit closer to Tommy
"Jussst hhand thhem to me" Victor said as he picked up the glass of water, and held out his reptilian hand to Tommy, waiting for the pills. The splinted broken limb still throbbing hotly

"Alright...cool...here ya go" he said after fumbling about to try and hand Victor the pills with a wing/hand. It was harder than it looked. After giving away the pills, Tommy moved back a step or two and looked at the splint job done on Victor's back limb. He shuddered slightly. "Want me to uh...get you anything to eat, man?"
