aahha...for me the anime was a disappointment
it didn't stick to the manga plot crying
there were lots of fillers
That's my exact problem, too. I watched like the first six episodes or so and then went straight to the end pissed and saying "If they screwed the ending up, I'm gonna be PISSED!" The first thing that pissed me off is when Meroko transformed into Eichi. I was like "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! Mitsuki knows he's dead, and what are you gonna do when she tries to tell Eichi she loves him?!" And then--- *begins reading posts* Wait. WHat? They had Mitsuki not know about Eichi's death? THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF THE MANGA!!! Eichi was Takuto's first assignment after the plane crash! You can't take THAT out of there!
Whoever did the anime for full moon.... SOMEONE NEEDS TO RE-DO IT!
The anime strayed to far from the path. It's when people take a book series and bring it to life (whether it be novels to movies or manga to anime) and then change the features to make the work "theirs".Tthat really annoys me! And then the whole thing with Meroko at the end in the anime... WTF was that?!
I was very satisfied about how the last episode was going until all of the sudden, the black-purple mist went to haywire, and then Meroko jumped in front of it.
And did they end up telling the people about Shinigami?
But my biggest turn off is when they did the whole thing with "Mikatsuki" and the modeling job. They should NOT have strayed that far from the path.
That and Meroko changing into Eichi were the biggest turn offs for me.
Also the ending. Mitsuki was supposed to be performing and then she'd see Takuto. She'd run over to him and mad that he dissappeared, then she'd cry and tell him she loves him and then they'd kiss! My whole reason for wanting to watch the anime was for that scene.
Takuto wasn't supposed to forget stuff about Mitsuki. He was supposed to be in a coma, not have an accident on his bike or whatever it was. He wasn't supposed to mysteriously wind up at some point then have Meroko (now an Angel) lead her to him. She wasn't supposed to just yell "TAKUTO!!" And then walk over to him. And even so, the people made the anime end right there. They could've added another thirty seconds just to add a kiss and i would've been somewhat satisfied.
My two favorite series are Fruits Basket and Full Moon. My third favorite series is nowhere NEAR my lvoe for those two series.
Someone should remake the anime.[/completely overblown rage]
Yes. I get passionate when it comes to my favorite things that end up being screwed with. Yes. I like shojo. And say whatever you want to say. But this is who I am!
*sigh*
Anyway, that's what I think of the anime. Now I must get ready for school.
