Yeah, but his X-ray vision doesn't actually use X-rays.

I always assumed he could just see a higher range of lightwaves than humans (like X-rays that are there as part of background radiation), but according to Wikipedia it's a combination of microscopic and telescopic vision that he uses to see through the gaps between molecules. Either way, perfectly safe.

I wonder if HE knows that, though...

Well, he is the idiot that didn't know where his powers came from.

O_S: But Lex was depicted as being in on the deception (ultrasound, meeting with the doctor, etc.).

Just like how Lex showed fear about what his child might become. Or why he was so surprised to hear that she was pregnant.

...*shrugs*

This show's never true to continuity. Why would they care about that?

Well, yeah. But they showed him more as being in on the deception than they did as him not.

I don't think Lionel did it. Lana might think he did it but I'm pretty sure it was Lex. Doctor Langston wouldn't report to Lex that everything was going according to plan if Lionel did it. And Lex would have no reason to kill out of frustration if he wasn't the one doing it. Lionel doesn't really care much for Lex's relationship and I don't count promise cause everyone was out of character in that episode.

If they don't tell us of Lionel's intentions by the end of this season, I'm going to get mad...But I trust them..Not that you guys do.

I wish we could just discount Promise in terms of character development (like I discount Fragile in terms of Lois's character development because, seriously, wtf), but we can't because even though everyone was lightswitched it's clearly the foundation for the second half of the season. neutral

Progeny...what's there to say about this episode?

Well, it wasn't as crazy as 'Promise' that's for one, nor was it as good as 'Justice'. I guess the episode had more cons than pros for me.

There's Lex, who's a b*****d- but that's nothing new. I mean I've never liked him since the whole 'Lexana' started, but now that I see that won't be lasting much longer (hopefully) he's getting to be back on my neutral side. I still can't fully like him...><

I guess the only things I liked this episode and wouldn't mind watching again, was Clark's delay in saving Lex. Then even when he decided to, he simply pushed him out of the way instead of knocking the bullet away xd That was beautiful.
I also liked badass Chloe. She was intense walking towards Lex with that gun. Go Chloe!^^

Lana was 'ok' in this episode for me. I'm starting to fear for her life though...

As for Lionel being the whole mastermind behind all of this, that would an interesting twist to this crazy plot. I've never really considered it, but it does make sense OSin 3nodding

I've always loved Lex. He is like he is cause well duh he is evil. "I am the villain of the story." At least Lex gets things done, even if they are well wrong. Clark on the other hand is stuck in one spot, not moving an inch because of Lana Lang Luthor.

I did think Clark pushing Lex was hilarious. Then let him choke on the gas.

So chloe's mom can control meteor freaks and has always been able to control Chloe. So it would seem that CHloe has always been a meteor freak but just finding out now.

Oooooh... Good point. I swear I kicked myself for just realizing that.

You know, maybe her power is something subtle... Like she has a really magnetic personality. Accounting for all her friends and "sources". I swear, she can do anything with all the contacts and sources she has.

I doubt it's some subtle power. She just never knew until recentley and even now she has no clue what it is. But this could of just been a continuity. This episode kinda asks more questions then it answers.

overall it was a pretty good episode, it was funny when clark pushed lex, because apart of him wanted the bullet to hit lex

I don't think they would make a big deal about it if Chloe's power was subtle. Then again, the baby thing kinda blows what I just said out the window seeing how they made that a big deal for no reason.
