Midou returned, sulken to a degree. "It is almost time, " he muttered under his breath. He picked up a piece of paper and wrote a message down on it and sent it, via bird, to Hidden Stone. It was to find Hima Makahashi.

A few moments later, Taki, the messenger bird landed in front of Midou, who had erected a small podium. He took the message and read. "As I hoped for," he sighed as he stepped up on the podium. "My friends, my people," he began. "It brings me great sadness to stand before you in this time of destruction, when all hope seems to be lost. It s with hope that I speak to you today. Many of you cannot hear me, and many of you have died for this village. I speak to you all. I have failed you as Kuskage. Therefore, in light of recent events. I resign as Third Lord Kusakage, and appoint the Second Lord Kusakage Hima Makhashi, who has agreed to once again take up this post and defend the village and breath life back into it. I will remain ever faithful though in serving the people of this Village as I will always remain Third Lord Kuskage. I will become Team Captain of the Special Missions forces and must presently be on my way to the Hidden Mist Village. I now take my leave and give the care of the Village over to Lord Hima Kuskage." Midou stepped down, removing the hat as Hima Makahashi walked through the crowd of bodies towards Midou. He took the hat and placed it on hi head as he climbed up the podium. Midou kept walking, a tear in his eye as Hima began speaking.
"My dear citizens. I have seen a lot of the world, but it brings me much greater joy seeing your faces before me today. Midou never failed you as Kusakage, in fact he has done a great job of bring you all together. We must rebuild this Village and bring with it a new life and hope for the future. I will now ask Third Lord Kusakage Midou to join me in celebrating this event, as well as the Rebirth of our Nation."
Midou turned and smiled, tears streaking down his face to see Hima preparing handseals. He too performed the same handseals and in unison, they exclaimed, "REBIRTH." In a sudden joyous sound, the ground inside and out sprung back to life as grass and plants of all kinds began shooting up and growing.

The three stone nin stopped there work to listen to the information that they had just received it had bothered saddened and brought hope to there hearts
"it will take a while for this village to recover..." said Vexen looking down as he heals a mans stomach wound it was a rather difficult operation for the chemist was more skilled in healing on a more cellular level using his chemical skills to take apart, analyze, and create antidotes for poison but none the less he healed the wound at a fast paste
"yes... but there leader is strong just like Terra-sama so there new Kusakage will bring them hope for the future and soon enough they will thrive... at least... thats what i believe" Juji shed a tear over emotional as always but she kept up her work on the nerve damage done to the little boy she was treating
Jude just nodded keeping up with his healing arts he was still sorta new to being a medic nin even though he was considered to be on the same level as the other two he started out as a combat ninja so healing didn't come as natural to him as it did with Juji and he didn't have the chemical brilliance of Vexen healing side by side with these two made him feel his skills where lacking he often had to keep up his research so as not to fall behind the others but now he wonders... was this really the right path?

Himo cornered Midou outside of the safehouse. "Midou, the Exams are almost about to enter the third stage. I think it would be appropriate, since sound is on your way to Mist, that you accompany me for the third round and then travel onward to the Hidden Mist."
"If that is your will, Kusakage-sama." Midou replied. "In truth, I would like to see my genin in the exam...to see how they have grown."
"Then you must come with me." Himo smiled. "You must introduce me to our Alliance leaders there. When I was Kusakage, we were not part of any alliance, but now it seems we are and I do not know any of the leaders, plus, it would be wise to assure the genin in the third round that you are not abandoning them, but that you will return."

Himo and Midou turned towards Juji and her fellow nin and bowed. "Thank you for what you have done," Himo said rising once more.
"Without your quick response to our situation, a lot of people would have died," Midou said.
"Give our thanks to Lady Tsuchikage when you return to your home," Himo said. "I would advise leaving when we leave, seeing as neither one of us will be around to protect you. Our jounin will be enough to protect this safehouse, but other nin should leave."
"I agree."

"And with that it is time for us to leave," Himo remarked turning towards the exit. "Come Midou, we should hurry."
"Yes, Lord Himo," Midou responded turning towards the door.
"We are equal now, Midou, just call me Himo."
"Alright."

Gamakichi hops up to the Stonenin. "Terra-sama requests your assistence imidiatly at the village entrence of stone the thunder alliance is attacking." he smiles and hops on to Vexens shoulder. "Im gonna travel with you you seem fast."

"It is not possible that Grass is a part of this..." the ANBU frowned under his mask. "Why would the Kusakage's even give an order to attack Stone? They are both off watching the end of the Chuunin exam with what is left of our shinobi." He turned around and then back again. "We must send word. Our Grass ANBU have posts hidden near every Hidden Village. I will send messges at once for them to inform the Village leaders of this "attack." If Grass truely is a part of this, then I am sorry, but for now I must make haste."
The ANBU dissappeared.
