Skips' eyes widened. There was something about this book... he sensed a scary amount of importance from it. It was sorta overwhelming. Which was weird, 'cause it was just a book, after all. He turned to Vixen, and said, "See? I found a book." He tucked it close to him. "But... I think I get what you were saying earlier. I think we need to get out of here..."

[She responded within my three days. It would be unethical not to start another countdown. Go kill her or something.]

The air immediately surrounding them changed, totally. What had before smelled of bloodshed and absolute destruction now held the aroma of ancient wisdom or something. Odd. Yet perfectly fitting in a place as such. The unperfect and unexpected were fully at ease in such settings. She sighed. She was beginning to dislike all things automatic. She was going to give technology one more chance.
Walking swiftly to the door she stood before it. Briefly she pondered over silly little whimsical things that had absolutely nothing to do with her current predicament. The first of which was how long the blood would remain on the walls. Would it stain? If it did, it would be likely that the chemicals in the blood would set, but metal wouldn't allow that kind of thing, right? The second thing was about the siren. Why was she working for Ellisent and willing to just sit in an orb with nothing to do? Was the orb something that transported her somewhere else, but not others? Vixen didn't know. This lack of knowledge made her feel quite stupid as seconds went by with the door not opening.

((Vixen))
It was true, the place did hold a very...stagnant quality. Everything hung still in the aftermath of that "unnecessary" bloodshed. Who cared, now? It was time to get the ******** out of here. Just open the door, start running, and...Damnit, why wasn't the ******** thing opening!? Maybe the sensor wasn't picking you up...Struggling to get closer, you realized...something was holding you back.

What the ********? What was wrong with Vixen? Something strange was happening to her. Things that had previously been understood now lay scattered before her with doubt and confusion. She should not have to deal with such things. If she wanted to walk through the door, then she should be able to like any other mentally unstable and physically abnormal person. She was beginning to hate this room with quite the passion. Leave it to him to put her in a room where she couldn't have any fun. Except for the killing. She like the killing. She turned around to look at Skip.
"Eh, Skip? Would you mind opening the door?" She stressed the emphasis on mind. She did not want to admit that some invisible force was holding her back. Was it that Moonlight lady? Vixen did not think that would be possible. Wasn't Moonlight present only when the girl held ultimate power? That made more sense then Moonlight always being with her. Vixen glanced down at the bangle she had delighted so much in placing upon her wrist. It gave her a sense of companionship, as if that esper had placed her spirit in the object or something. Was she stopping Vixen from departing?

((Team 1))
Turning to look at Skip, she realized that he was the one restraining her...obviously he had some highger plan in mind, but didn't he know she was on her own agenda??
[You'll have to wait for him on this one]

[Since no one's done this yet, I'm going to help you guys out, as well as anyone coming up in a team (Unless it's with me). I can see how frustrating it would be to not know when the other's going to post, so let's do this.
Put down what days and Gaian times you can RP. When they match, just take note of it. I will too, so that I can take those times and plug them in my calendar as "Team-Only" RP sessions. Everyone else, take note, because those will be times when you can relax and not have to post...because I won't post back at these intervals. Okay? I hope this will help clear up some monotony, because I feel a strong frustration/lack of motivation from this team, and I'm totally not blaming you for it.]

[I'll store this here for now until a more proper place is about. All times will be by Gaian standard or whatever they have here in the forums, so that there is a conversion factor thing.]

((I'm back. Sorry for the delay.))
Skip looked up at Vixen, with a grave look on his face. "We... we have to hide. The book... or... something... I'm sure what.... but something told me to hide. I think.... Ellisent might be close." He reached out his hand to her. "I think I can make both of us invisible. Just long enough for Ellisent to pass by. We're not nearly ready enough to fight him again..." Skip realized that he wasn't sounding very convincing, but hearing the voice of the British man (who, after all, was dead) had gotten to him just a bit...

[Don't worry about it.]
"Yes, well, that could pose a problem. You're being quite logical, Skip."
She tentatively took his hand. She did not really like to touch people, unless she was about to shred them and do all the other things that made a scene gory. It was a hobby, Vixen supposed. A bit of worry did enshroud her, though. Ellisent was smart. He might not think to kindly of Skip being in her room, when he was supposed to be the enemy. She could see the circumstance clearly. Ellisent would probably force her to fight Skip. If she succeeded, well, then she would in return die.

Skip nodded and smiled. He was glad that Vixen trusted him. He probably would end up in a lot of pain if she didn't...
He grabbed her hand in one hand, and with the other, he tugged on his left ear. As the effect took a hold of him, his thoughts took the form of the word: <>
