since naruto did start out as a kid's series, he's probably straight, though... even with haku and zabuza, and the recent fanservice, it'd surprise me if he was gay in canon. maybe bi, but kishimoto probably wouldn't go into depth about that.
i think he's one of those guys who's straight, but would blush like a moron and have to think a minute if you ask them this question. especially since he reads so much smut.
