Pausing with his words Akumu looked around to see what he was stalking. The muddy musk scent made her nose curl and clicked in her brain just exactly what it was. She knew well how dangerous a boar could be and looked up for a low hanging branch she could retreat to before second guessing to herself. Giving a slight nod towards Thona she decided that she'd wait until he leaped for the boar before jumping to the branch. Her luck it would make too much noise and scare the boar, causing more injury to defeat.

The perfect window opened to jump at the boar. It's neck was right in Thona's view. It'd be very hard getting it, but it was a risk he was going to take. He lunged for the Boar.
At first, the Boar had no idea what had hit him. It got knocked to the ground. But as quickly as it did, it got up, finally realizing that there was something attacted to it. Quickly it noticked Thona off. He aimed wrong and latched on not very good. Quickly as Thona could he got up and jumped at the Boar.
The Boar was turning around to charge at Thona when he jumped again. This time Thona's teeth and claws where at the Boars butt. This time, the Boar was now just trying to get away from Thona's grip. It was best for it to just flee. Though Thona's claws dug in farther. His eyes were blazed with anger. He was letting out everything on this Boar.
The Boar was a bit bigger then Thona in Weight, so it was going to take a while for Thona to take him down. Pushing all his wait into the Boars back, trying to make it fall to the ground. It was hardly working. The Boar squealled loudly every time Thona tried. The noise was annoying and was making Thona more and more mad.
Letting one paw loose from the hide of the Boar he swong farther up it's back and dug in. It was going down no matter what. Fresh flesh and blood showed where Thona's paw had been.
The Boar started moving in a circle to try to throw Thona off guard. Now it seemed like they were doing a small dance. Thona dug in deeper as it started to move. This he also dug his teeth into the back of the Boar making it squeal yet again.
He Yanked as hard as he could towards the side of both of them. Still, it wasn't going down. Thona tried kicking one of the back legs with his back legg, but it was very trickly. Blood had crept it's way into his mouth. Oh, it was heaven. The taste of a fresh Boar was always good.

Akumu sat in silence as she watched Thona "dance" with the boar. She found this quite amusing for she never got taken out on the hunts. The corner of her mouth began to grin with the wild hog's squeals and her eyes went big and serious. She looked away from them for a moment and sat on the ground. What have I become? She asked herself over and over again. This isn't how I was raised ... have I been around the pack for too long? She shook her head as to free the thoughts from her mind and then looked back at the two. Standing up she began to walk a little in their direction and sat down behind a close by tree. I've gone beyond no return ... She closed her eyes and listened to the squeals as she pictured it all in her mind.

The Boar was slowly getting tired from fighting Thona. About time, too. Thona was also getting a bit tired from this. But, he could still take it down. Just a few minutes longer. Yes....
The Boar started wabbling more now. It was the perfect time to push the Boar to the ground. Pushing hard on it's back, it gave a squeal and finally gave in. Though the Boar wasn't about to give up. Nope. It started thrashing on the ground.
Thona Lunged at it's neck this time claws in it's back. Digging his teeth down, he was strangling the creature with his teeth. Slowly locking his jaws together to slowly Kill the creature. Pain..
The Boar couldn't squeal anymore, but it was still thrashing, not as much as before. Every few seconds it would kick at him and try to get away, but it was useless. Thona had it by the neck. More blood entered his mouth. Oh it tasted so good. He just wanted to start eating. But no, he wasn't going to. It was for the God.
Finally, the Boar stopped moving, though Thona wasn't about to let go yet. He could still feel it's heart beat. It was Faint, but still there. It had to be completly dead before he let go. He'd lost a few meals when letting it go at a faint heart beat when he was a kid.
He closed his eyes and waited. It took about another five minutes before the Boar finally gave up. It's heart couldn't take anymore and just stopped. Thona waited a few minutes after it stopped before he opened his mouth.
Blood was all over his face, paws, and chest. Surprisingly, none of it was his own. He opened his eyes and looked down at the lifeless Boar, blood was still drainning from it's body. He licked his lips and looked up in the direction where Akumu was. He finally panted alittle before going to clean off one of his paws. Ahh, the taste of the blood. It lingered in his mouth after he was done cleaning one of his paws.

Keeping her eyes closed for a little while after Thona had finished up, Akumu wanted to make sure the worse was over. After a moment of silence she could hear him cleaning up and opened her eyes to see the bloody mess before her. Giving her ear a twitch she arose and stepped forward towards the blood covered male. "Now you have to get it home before anyone else notices you have a kill." She knew this would be the hardest thing of it all because Thona spent most of his energy killing the boar and the god Yin had been fighting with earlier may still be lingering around. She didn't want to mention this to Thona for she knew he would be more focused and comfortable thinking he was the strongest thing in the forest.

( lol He does think he's the strongest right now too ) Thona snorted at her. No other would take his prize. He Yawned and said nothing. Standing up he circled the beast. It was best to get back fast anyhow, that way it was still fresh for the pack to eat. He took ahold of its neck and tried to walk at first. Looking much like an leopard walking with it's pray in mouth and between his legs.
But having the Boar bigger then him made it a bit difficault and he triped over the boar. He let go of it and looked about quickly. Making sure that only him and the female knew he fell. Standing back up, this time he went on the other side grabed the neck and started walking backwords. That way he wouldn't trip again.

Rolling her eyes in amusment at his stumble Akumu continued to watch him tug at the boar. She didn't know how she was suposed to help him but she didn't feel right watching him do all the work, even if it was his kill. Standing up and walking over to him she looked over the wild hog and raised and eyebrow. "So how do you plan to get this home, tug it all the way?" She let out a slight chuckle and stood in her place. She knew Yin would love to see him strugle with the kill for he didn't have any idea where he was or how to get back. She was amused and relaxed to know that at least she did, but it was at least another half a day away even without tugging something twice their weight.

He stopped in place and let go of the neck. "Then what do you suggest?" He asked nicely and sat down look at her. He was very interested in knowing since it was a very exhausting. He looked to her wings, perhaps she could fly it there? Nah, that wouldn't be good. He had to bring it in. Maybe she could help him bit it on his back. That would save a lot of time and effort.

Slightly shrugging to Thona's questions she looked around for something they could at least drag it on. Thinking about tearing the bark off a tree became foolish and Akumu shook her head. "You should have thought about that before killing such a beast." She rolled her eyes some and looked around again. Licking her lips at the smell of fresh dinner laying before them she wondered some more what they were to do.

He laughed. "I have an idea, but it'll take both of us." He said standing up. He didn't take to kindly for help, but this was an exception. He stood next to the dead Boar. "Help me get it on my back, then while we are walking, you've got to make sure it doesn't fall. It'll be easier for the both of us." He said.
The Boar was almost half his weight, but he was sure he could carry it. He was rather strong, and it being on his back would make it a lot better.

Akumu was somewhat unsure about this idea but shrugged it off figuring it was the best one mentioned this far. She walked over to the boar and helped him lift it onto his back. She could see his legs straining under the boar's weight. "Are you sure you've got it?" She still wasn't sure about this idea and began to search around for another better idea yet failed to find one.
The sky began to turn orange with the night sky peaking through the sunny day. Finally ... she thought to herself at the thought of night finally coming again. It would be easier for them to move at the cool night but it would also be easier for them to get stalked by another ... A shutter ran down her back as she looked to see Thona already walking off with the kill. Leaping forward she trotted to catch up to him.

He grinned. "Trust me, I've done this before. It's rather hard getting a lifeless body on ones back alone though." He laughed. It was rather hard, took him two hours to do it. "I'll just need you to watch if it starts to slip." He said talking slow steps not exactly sure if he was going the right direction or not.
"Going the right way?" he asked as he looked to the sky to watch a bit of the sun go down. Slowly things started to get an orange tint. Ahh. The lovely sun setting. It always made him feel better to know that night was almost there. He grinned and kept his ears up listening.
All types of dangerous creatures came out at night. Though, he thought he was the most dangerous. Oh yes. He grinned with a cruel look to it. He continued to walk slowing and figured that Akumu would have said something if he had been going the wrong way.

Walking close to Thona, Akumu kept an eye on the boar to make sure it didn't slide. She was more comfortable walking close to him and knew that if anyone came upon them that he would defend in a heartbeat. Though his ignorance on the dangers out there was a little unsettling. "We're on the western end of Mwezi territory." She finally said, figuring that he would know where to head off with such simple words. The thought of heading back to the Vally was relaxing, it mostly meant she could drop down and sleep the rest of the night away. Watching the kill closely it had started to slip a couple of times but Akumu assisted him on lifting it back on and they were off again. The night sky was dark and starry as it had been when they first left, just how Akumu liked it. She didn't want to see the sun rise again for as long as she was in the pack.

He contiuned to walk slow enought to keep it from slipping to much. It'd take longer to get back this way, but it wasn't that bad. They'd be back at the right time. Thona had just began to get tired. Having stayed up for a while. He kept most of his yawns in.
He was still listening to the noises around, most of them were the smaller creatures just now walking up to find their food. Soon the bigger ones would come out to pray on the smaller ones. He used to do that when he was just a small Ulaya. He looked to the other out of the corner of his eye. "Just making sure, I'm not use to this area yet." He said hush like.
If they were being hunted, he didn't want to give their place up too much. He didn't feel like risking his neck for the both of them half asleep. It wouldn't do them any good. The boar had taken a lot out of him, he didn't think he'd do good in a fight if one had to be done. He'd have to reason with the other if need be. Though, that seemed like it'd be more work then to rip them appart.
