Lumiere beamed before hopping backwards away.
"I'll leave the two of you to your dinner, no rush," he chuckled.
MacBeth took his first bite. Then the second. It tasted just as perfect as it looked.
He looked at Terra and smiled, "It tastes fine to me. It must be the Disney magic."
He grinned at his own, silly joke before apologizing.
"I'm sorry, that was a bad joke," he laughed, "I swear I'm not usually this corny."

Terra stifled a laugh, "Oh? I've been left with the impression that you're always this corny." the smile on her face brightened.
"At least, that's what your sister tells me. You know, that crazy blonde." she was, of course, referring to her best friend. Rikku. Oh yes, the stories Rikku had told her back when they were both teens. Oh yes, those were the days. Back when she'd go out of her way to embarrass this poor man.
"It's alright though." she put her utensils down, this time herself making the motion to place her hand over one of his.
"I like it."

MacBeth laughed, "Oh, Rikku. I miss her living in the castle. Though my other siblings are just as zany, something just seems to be missing without her being there."
MacBeth smiled, "I am glad that she has found happiness. And I think that I have, too."
He turned his hand palm-up and gently held her hand. It was truly beautiful: soft and skilled, yet had such an allure that he could not resist.
"Terra... may I have the honor of courting you-- I mean..." he tried to think of another way to put it, "Would you consider... I mean... would... could I possibly be your boyfriend?"

"Haha. So I've heard about the others." looking down towards her hand as MacBeth examined it, she felt a soft blush rush towards her cheeks as he fumbled around with his question. The embarrassment soon died down though, as she was not one to remain so for long, and she nodded.
"I would be glad to have you for my boyfriend Mac. But, to be honest, you really don't need to be so formal." she placed her other hand around the one that was hold hers, so that his was clasped between her two.

MacBeth beamed at her answer, and then blushed.
"I'm sorry," he said, "I'm just so used to it... I'll try to work on that." He wrapped his other hands around one of hers and squeezed a bit, just a show of affection.
Lumiere peeked out a little bit, "Ahhh, romance, isn't it marvelous? How are your dinners?"
"Th-They're great," MacBeth sheepishly smiled.

"Yes, dinner is wonderful, thank you." Terra chuckled as MacBeth stuttered in his speech. She returned the gentle squeeze of her hand and smiled up at him.
"Thank you for the lovely evening so far."

"It was nothing, I couldn't have done it without the help of Lumiere."
Lumiere hopped off, mumbling something about bananas foster.
"I... don't really know what to say. I'm so happy, Terra."

"Say that we're not going to spend all night gushing like two 16 year olds?" she laughed and pulled back to sit properly in her seat.
"I'm happy as well Mac. Let's just finish dinner though, I'd like to go out for a walk I believe. It was such a nice evening on the way over here. I've heard the gardens are beautiful at night, with flowers that don't bloom in the daylight."

"That'd be nice," MacBeth nodded, "I'd love to see the evening flowers."
"No dessert, then?" Lumiere tilted his head.
"I'm full, but if you want some Terra, go ahead," MacBeth nodded to before finishing up his steak.

"No, no thank you. I've had more than enough thisevening." Terra offered to the candelabra.
"Yes, I remember seeing them once when I was younger I believe." She started as she recalled the event, "Though I could be mistaken." she shifted in her chair, becoming anxious to go out. Only for so long could the young woman remain seated. She was used to always being up and on the go. Running quite often.
Sitting was never a priority.

"Thank you, Lumiere, you've been a very gracious host," MacBeth nodded as he stood up and pushed his chair in.
"Well then, can you show me the way," he smiled as he walked by Terra's chair and offered her his hand.

Taking his hand she stood, pushing her chair in. She gave a graceful nod to their strange host and began to move towards the door, taking her jacket and sliding into it.
"Alright then. This way." she led MacBeth out of the building and down the road, heading back towards the castle gardens.
The sky was bright that evening, littered with small, sparkling stars and a rather large cresent moon that hung low in the sky. There was a slightly chilled breeze. Still early in the season.
After some time of walking, they found their way to the garden entrance. She moved in, pointing out some of the fireflies and scooted out in front of them.
"Wow."

MacBeth closed his eyes and let the breeze move through his longer hair. It wasn't the same as when it was out of his ponytail, but it still felt nice.
When he opened his eyes, a little firefly was in front of his nose.
"Oh, hello," he said before the firefly twittered around a bit before flying off.
MacBeth followed the firefly with his eyes until he saw it hover near some flowers that practically glittered in the moonlight.
"Lovely..."

"Oh..." Terra looked over to where MacBeth's eyes seemed to have fallen. She walked forward and knelt down next to the small patch of moonlilies.
"Wow..." her eyes were wide with amazement as she gazed upon them. They almost seemed to hum a soft tune into the evening as she beamed.
"Amazing..."

"I don't remember being out here at night," mused MacBeth, "This is my first time seeing them...."
He stood beside her and looked down at the soft flowers, "Do you know what they're called? They're stunning."
