Cool I really like celtic music, Ensiferum are a folk metal band which at times makes for easy listenin. The irish alternative would be the Horslips who are way lighter and who play ancient irish music on guitars lol. I have never been to a concert in my 17 years of livin haha

Yeah I doubt I can go to Apoc this year. They are playing around the time of my Christmas exams which are so imprtant as they are my last Christmas exams I will have to do in that school lol!
I go to gigs the whole time. I have many friends in bands but they are only youth bands. Oooooh the last one I went to I seriously confudddled my neck teehee (Yes I do tend to headbang quite alot)

that sucks. I think I have to miss the school christmas concert to go to see Apoc. sad sad
We had a brilliant school battle of the bands recently.. I was right at the front and the next morning I had a black bruise right across my ribs where the edge of the stage was...

Wow you mosh? Our school has a talent show near the end of the summer term with a few bands. There were like 2 metal performances but half the crowd were chavs which laughed one year as my friend and I banged our heads to Master of Puppets. My brother played Seven Nation Army with his band but I am way too shy to play anythin. I am working on a Metallica Medley I might play next year. sweatdrop

It was mosh or die really XD
We don't have a talent show as such, just the christmas and summer concerts.. and any other concerts we get hired to do... we don't have any rock bands in those though, just the choir, orchestra jazz band and soloists... Which is why we have the battle of the bands smile
wow, I'd like to hear the metallica medley
( Did I mention that my school orchestra (that I'm principle cello in) has just won the national festival for music for youth category for school orchestras for a second year running? if not, WHY DIDN'T I?!?!)

Well really it's just that I know alot of Metallica on keyboard and all I need to do is bridge em all together lol
And wow thats an amazing achievement! I want a cello!!!!

Put electric cello into ebay.. or look up 'yamaha silent cello' in google.. those ones are gorgeous.

I am sooo confused folks! I want to expand my musical horizons so I want either:
a) Drums
b) Cello
c) Keytar (Roland AX-7 *drools* thatsa smexy keytar!!!)
Ugh of course I have my Leaving Cert to think of hahaha but tis only school right?
