Black62 ok so we all kno kakashi has a sharingan and no one knows how the hell he got it! now isnt that great!? well now my friends the secret is out. kakashi is kinda old so he was around when the uchiha clan was still together and he had a best friend who happened to be an uchiha. (sorry i do not kno his friends name). Itachi attacked the uchiha village and ALMOST killed kakashi's friend. kakashi was able to get to the scene and find his friend in his final moments. his friends final request was that kakashi take his sharingan. so kakashi carried the body to a hospital and went into surgery to replace his eye with the sharingan. so that my friends is why he has a sharingan and the scar is left over from the surgery. oh and for those who dont know, he keeps his headband over his eye to prevent over using it because he cannot change it back to normal. well that it guys the mystery is solved i hope uve all enjoyed it, later black62 Uh, this is kinda off. You should read chapters 239-244 of the manga, the author explains there.

Obito, one of the squad, was an uchiha. After a series of events he is crushed by a boulder. his last request was that kakashi have his sharingan, as a gift since kakashi just got promoted to Jonin. So, a medic-nin named Rin in their squad took out the Sharingan Eye and implanted it into Kakashi's left eye, since earlier it was damaged by a Hidden Earth village shinobi... That is the proven story of how kakashi got his sharingan

Alright
1. This friends name is Obito Uchiha.
Ans 2. the story you go it COMPLETE wrong, for one kakashi wasn't little when itachi killed his clan or sasuke would be closer to kakashis age! And he didn't have a sergery for his eye... the story went that...
Minato, Kakashi, Obito, and Rin were on a mission and Kakashi just become a jouin and rin and Obito were to give a gift to kakashi for congrats but kakashi and obito weren't really close (they were kinda like naruto and sasuke when it came to comunication) So they went onto a mission and they were ambused and Rin (there member/medical ninja) was taken. Minato (Yondaime) went off and Kakashi was then leader of the mission. Obito wanted to look for Rin but kakashi wanted to finish the mission so Obito went off to look for her and ran into some trouble. When things looked bad kakashi than appeared and while fighting kakshi got cut in the eye by a kunai (thats what made the scar) once they finished fighting they went to look for rin, once they found rin in a cave like place they fought and saved her. But the place caved in and Obito was than pined by a boulder and only half of his body was visible. So before Obito was to pass away he ordered Rin to transfer his one good eye (right eye) to kakashi (which was cut) for his graduation present. And kakashi got the eye and every mission when Kakashi is late kakashi is at Obitos gave.
I havn't read the chapter since it came out so i might be a bit off. But thats what i remember ^^
