Kiefer felt a blow to his stomache just as he collided with the other colt. He didn't do as much damage because of it, but he had still gotten the hit.
For a moment he couldn't breath, and he huffed for a moment as he gained his footing. His stomach ached and he felt like he was going to throw up. His head pounded. This colt certainly knew how to hit it where it would hurt.

Amaroq's knees buckled as the other colt came down on him, and he scrabbled sideways, scrambling to get to his feet. Ice-blue eyes glared warily at the other colt as he stood with braced legs, ready to leap back into the fray if his rival so much as twitched the wrong way. Never ready to run, though. A draw he could accept, but a loss...he never would. But he stayed quiet, waiting for the other to speak.

"Are you done?" Kiefer said in a low tone, whipping his tail back and forth. He did not enjoy fighting. The satisfaction it gave momentary, and he still had a queesy feeling, and blood was dripping down from his shoulder. Hopefully it wouldn't scar.
"I would rather not fight anymore..." he admited, no longer caring of the other thought of him as a coward. "I wouldn't want either of us to be hurt more then nessisary" he admited, wanting to tend to his wound.

Amaroq narrowed his eyes, still tense and wary. "If you are...but don't push your luck..." His tail swished slowly on his hindquarters, and small nostrils flared. He'd take this draw, but if that colt got a big head about not getting pounded into the dirt then by the Great Spirit he WOULD pound him. He didn't want to be someone that got crossed lightly. His mother and father weren't, and he wouldn't be either. "Might want to find a unicorn for that...or a two-legger," he commented, tone slightly disdainful on the last phrase. He admitted the creatures could be useful, but he wasn't about to buddy up to one.

"Don't worry, Amaroq. I have no reason too" he said, cautiously, looking at his cut. It wasn't as deep as he htought, and had stopped bleeding for the most part. The fur under and around it was a bit crusty from the already dry blood.
"I think I can handle it" he said, deciding he would go to the river and wash it, then go home and hope his parents didn't notice. All hell would break loose if they found he was in a fight, even worst if they knew he had started the physical aspect.

"Less chance of a mark...but whatever." Amaroq shrugged and let it drop. Wasn't any skin off his back either way...maybe a bit of hair gone from those hooves and a bruise or two, but no skin. And he rather liked the idea of the other colt carrying a reminder not to mess with him so lightly. Didn't scars add character anyhow?

Kiefer smilled "Well, I don't mind a bit of a mar. It will remind me that I am independent" he said, unsure if that would be true or not, or if the mark would even remain.
He turnd around, and started to walk away. He had no more reason to be around this mean colt. Odds were they would just end up fighting again, and he didn't want that.
"See you around, I supose"
