Opening the book she flips through a couple of pages carefully. Arching a brow she frowns seeing it would be something she not understand at all. Looking back up at Kumoru she place her hand in his giving it a squeeze "Think you could read some of this to me? It seems like a rather interesting language. At least to the naked eye." looking back towards the kitchen she looks at Kumoru.
Cielra looks at Bhel blinking a few times before she looks at the crayon. With three older sisters she already knew how to share. Handing him the crayon she picks up the purple one then continues to color as if nothing just happen.

The bull Fa'e was still new at the whole sharing thing, but since she relinquished control of the desired color, Bhel figured he did not have to create a big stink about it. He left the color he had been using next to Cielra's arm in a gesture that might be interpreted as compensation, and went back to his own picture.
"It's the language of our gods," the necromancer told her, taking the book back and flipping through it a little. "It takes a whole lifetime to master what we know of it now, and mortals will probably never know all of it." He shifted his feet a little as she squeezed his hand, his gaze flickering briefly to Aylana's face before he looked down at the book again.
"Let me just see if I can quickly find a safe place to start reading it," Kumoru murmured, tracing over a page of text with his index finger before stopping somewhere in the middle. When he started to read it aloud, the words sounded as though they came from a great variety of languages, including some that were no longer spoken anymore.

Aylana smirks as she sat there thinking a moment. The language of their gods? She couldn't help but wonder if Kumoru would wonder about her past life if he knew she was once a goddess. Pushing her hair from her face she lets her hand slip away from his as she listened. Resting her body slightly against the counter she just watch Kumoru.
The more she learned about him, the more she wasnted to know. He was so different to anyone she knew.
Looking down at the crayon set next to her arm she smiles before she turns back to her own page. The more she was around Bhel the more she cold see him as a friend. Purring she drop the purple down with the rest of crayons.
Wrinkling her nose up she debates which one she should choose next.

The necromancer read about a page, then stopped and glanced up. "That's part of the middle of one of the spells I've been working on. They all tend to sound very different from each other, though, because of the words each one needs." He laughed a little to himself as he shut the book and examined the cover "Makes it interesting to have to memorize a lot of magic."
Bhel thought Cielra might make a good friend, too. She seemed very agreeable, and the toddler liked that in a person. Maybe when he was done coloring, he would carry her around the room again, and show off how strong he was to his mommy and his guardian.

Aylana smiles shaking her head "Very different from the magic I know, more so as the Greek Goddess Nyx, then as myself." pushing off the counter she walks over touching the book lightly "But then that the past, so it wouldn't matter. Yet I just found another piece to who you are. Your very passionate about your magic." smiling she tugs at the book alittle just to see if he would let it free.
Picking up the green crayon she mews a few more times, to her she sounded like she was singing. To anyone else she was just mewing. Tail brushing the ground she stops pointing at her picture then looks to Bhel. It seem that she had nearly colored the whole page.

The mage did not release the book at first, but after a second he caught the hissing sound of the teapot about to boil. With a small smile and a slight nod, Kumoru let Aylana have the book, then went to pour the tea.
"Who is the Greek goddess Nyx?" he asked after he had turned off the stove and was pouring out two cups of tea. There were a lot of gods from Kumoru's own world without worrying about any from Gaia or elsewhere.
When she made noise, Bhel glanced over at Cielra again, and flicked his tail in her general direction. It was not really a "cut that out" gesture so much as the bull being curious about how she would react. If he kind of swatted at her lightly with his tail, would she make a different sound?
She was definitely not like any of Bhel's other siblings.
The young Fa'e put a few more purple polka-dots on the dinosaur in his picture, then climbed to his feet.

Aylana frowns before she look down at the book she held "She was the goddess of the night. I vile woman who took pleasure in torturing others. I hate her, so I was determine not to become her again. She destroyed everything and everyone in her way." looking up at him she bites her bottom lip "I am nothing like her though, I promise you that. I don't really have a dangerous bone in me." with a light chuckle she looks down at the book again.
Cielra actually giggles as she looks at Bhel. Moving her own tail she attempts to smack him lightly with it. She wasn't into fighting, she like having fun and just enjoyed other company. Placing her paw on his hand she smiles mewing alittle.

Kumoru walked over to one of the drawers across the kitchen and opened it to retrieve two spoons. As he walked back across the room, he asked Aylana, "So Nyx is who you were as a Fa'e?"
He dropped one spoon in each mug, then picked one up to bring to Aylana. Now, perhaps, he could learn more about her, too.
Though he had nowhere near the control over his tail that Cielra did over hers, Bhel still grinned and flicked his tail lightly at her again.
Once he was on his hooves again, he reached out for her hand with the aim of pulling her to her feet if she took it. If she did not get up on her own, though, Bhel could always pick her up.

Setting the book down Aylana took the mug. Sighing she look up at him "Every Fa'e has a second chance at life because of he or she guardian. In my past life I was Nyx, I was given my second chance when Krista dreamt of me. I vowed when I found out who Nyx's was I would never become her. As a fa'e I am me, I was just learning who I once was. Bhel will be doing the same thing like all the other fa'es have." taking a sip of the tea she sits in silents for a moment.
She wasn't one to talk about Nyx, she hated her enough that she wanted nothign to do with her. The sad thing was that even now she knew she had no choice, she would always be apart of her.
Cielra looks at his hands before she place her paws into them. Standing carefully she mews looking down at the ground. Walking around on all fours she could do real well. Walking around on two feet was a whole new thing to her though.
Looking back at Bhel she pouts alittle. She was really hoping he wouldn't let her get hurt.

Once she had her cup, the mage returned to the counter to get his own. "So, are you Nyx, exactly, or does she reside in your body as well? And did she disappear when you- when Bhel was born?"
"And," he went on after a moment. "Do you know anything about who Bhel is? Is he Nyx's son from her past life?" It made sense that way, but he could not be sure.
Frowning at her pout, Bhel tried to lift the kitten up again. Mommy and Kumoru were just in the next room, so now seemed like an excellent time to show off!

Aylana looks down at the cup for a moment thinking "I have all her memories, everything she did I remember. I am Nyx recarnated as Aylana, giving a second chance at life. Nyx is with me, but no longer in control. By giving up my powers and fa'e essense she lost all her chance of becoming a goddess again." pasuing she looks towards the livingroom.
It hadn't come to her until just now that Bhel might be one of Nyx's children of the past. Biting her bottom lip she looks back down at the drink shaking her head "I honestly do not know if Bhel is or isn't one of Nyx's past sons. I wish I could help when it comes to know who he was in his past life."
She didn't want Bhel to go through the pain she did, but sadly she knew it was part of being a fa'e.
Wrapping her small arms around Bhel's neck she giggles holding on. Cielra was enjoying this, Bhel was fun and he didn't mind that she was smaller then him. Mewing she points towards the kitchen.

Bhel grinned a little and, figuring he could give her this small indulgence, headed for the kitchen. He just walked at a normal pace as he carried her, not sure yet if he wanted to try anything fancy like running with the other youngster.
"I'll just keep a close eye on him, I suppose, and let you know right away when important things happen to him, or if any other Fa'e seem to have any ideas about who he is." Kumoru set his mug on the counter so he could cross his arms as he spoke. Mentally, he made a note to see if he could find any information about Nyx's children.
As the necromancer's Fa'e charge came into the kitchen carting Aylana's little kitten along in his arms, the mage immediately tensed and started towards them. He glanced between the children and Aylana; Kumoru was ready to stop them and to make Bhel put the little girl down, but he wanted some word from their mother before he went to intervene.
At least Bhel had not dropped Cielra yet.

Aylana would have said something until she saw her son holding her adopted daughter. Eyes widening she didn't move, a smile instead formed across her lips. She couldn't believe how strong her son was, inside she was welling up with pride.
Placing her cup down on the counter she kneels holding her hand out toward Bhel "Aww your so strong Bhel. Cielra not even trying to get free." chucklign she watches the little kitten carefully.
Cielra was calm more then anything, she was purring as she held onto Bhel. She seem to trust him as he didn't drop her the first time.

Nodding, Kumoru instead reached out to ruffle Bhel's hair a little. It was quite impressive, how strong the young Fa'e was for his age; it seemed like every day he was able to lift more. And the necromancer figured the least he could do was continue to encourage the boy, as if he really was blood family.
"Look at you," he said with a small smile. "Next thing we know, he'll be picking me up, no, Aylana?"
Bhel beamed, mostly at his mother, and shifted Cielra in his arms a little. She was starting to feel heavy, but for now he could still hold on. And he did not want to admit his defeat now, when all this attention was on him.

Chuckling she pokes both Bhel and Cielra's nose "You two seem to be good friends. That great, if your Kumoru would be the same." looking up she chuckles as she winks at him. Looking back at the kids she makes a silly face at them both. She was still as playful as ever when it came to her children.
Cielra wrinkles her nose up before she giggles. Her mother always seem to make her smile. Looking at Bhel she purrs again before she points to the floor. She was hoping he would understand that she wanted to be set down.
