Coyote was giggling madly, unable to talk. Gods, this game was going to be fun indeed.
***
Writ tilted his head, a little confused at his friend's reaction. He may have grown from 11 to 17 overnight, but that didn't stop him from being a little nieve. The sparkly kid shuffled back into the dressing room and changed back into the pants he was in before. Ten dollars was all he had in his pockets, he hoped he had enough.
He came out again, the sparkles not wearing off just yet.
"Uhh, Crow? We could go..." He pointed to the cash registers.

Crow blushed and immediately took her stare to the ground, giggling.
CROW!
She shook her head for a moment, and then took her shy gaze and finally looked up. "Mmmkaythosepantslookedgoodyupyup."
The real Crow inside was screaming and bashing her head on the wall repeatedly, and Morrigan simply shook her head, her fingers pressed into her forehead.

Mmmmkay. Whatever Writ was doing, he wasn't doing anything. He went over to the cashier.
She likes you. Coyote snickered.
The godling didn't appreciate the teasing. That would've been okay if they were the same age, it'd be like a childhood crush or something, nothing big. The current situation made sure that any relationship would be a abnormal as possible.
She's my- She was my age. Writ thought back, still a little surprised how natural talking to his god felt.
Not when word gets out.
His god always has to be vague, didn't he? He waited for the jeans and t-shirt to be scanned. The cashier was a young woman, who seemed to be a bit older than Writ, nonetheless, the charm aura did it's job. The whole thing costed twenty dollars, but she let him off with ten. Writ thanked her, and she gave him a wink.
The boy shivered.
"Ah... Let's go." And Writ started out the door. Coyote mercifuly turned off the aura for now. Mortals, he thought, like almost every other god in the realm, were very amusing toys.

Crow still blushed violently as she followed him out, still three paces behind him, trying to stop the giggling.
Make it stop! This is driving me MAD!
Tell your little fluttery heart that.
Nrrrgg!
Then the sparklies stopped. Crow looked up and shook her head. She felt a little more normal, but she still was blushing. "You...got by...that cashier lady awfully easy with only half the cash... What did you do, anyway? You were...dah... GAH!"
Crow yelped as she missed the curb and faltered. She caught herself easily, but her tail poked out from under her cloak. It took her a moment to straighten up and hide it.
A few shoppers stared at her, and Crow simply smiled. "I made it myself. Pretty, isn't it?"
She then suddenly picked up the pace and started ahead of him, trying not to look back at Writ. "Idon'thaveacrush, Idon'thaveacrush..." She muttered under her breath.

"What are you talking about?"
Writ wasn't doing anything special, the Green Lady said that kids like him had powers, but Coyote showed him what he could do already. He had a feeling that he wasn't getting the whole thing.

Crow stopped dead, he DIDN'T know what he was doing?
That explains it. Damn Coyote...
I don't need a narrator in my head! She noted to Morrigan before turning around and walking backwards, facing Writ. She was right back to blushing.
"Err... You... Never mind..." Crow sighed, and then turned back around to walk forward. "Let's just get you back to the house before your parents think you're missing."

"Yeah." Writ said, nervousness in his voice, "Parents."
Already he was planning, and already things seemed bleak. There wasn't any lie he could say to cover the fact that he was seventeen right now.
I chose you for a reason Writ, I know you can figure something out. Coyote tried to comfort him, but it wasn't working.
He slowed down, trying not to get to his house too quickly.

Crow continued on, having to stop once or twice to let the contemplating Writ catch up with her quick hoof. They were halfway there, since the distance from his house to the clothing shop was certainly not a great one.
"Do you want me to walk in with you, Writ?" She said, fighting through her jitters. She was slowly calming down, but, at least she wasn't acting like a giggly school girl anymore.

"I'm alright. Thanks." Writ was squirming in his grown body. There had to be a way to convince his parents. A way out of this mess.
He's got nothing.
He gave a insincere smile, "I think my parents will understand."

Crow smiled brightly and her eyes squished shut.
"They will, Writ, they will." She suddenly turned away from him, and wagged her tail under her cloak. "Stay outta trouble, Writ."
In a few strides she hurried off on her clompy little hooves, leaving Writ to deal with his issues, and she to deal with her own.
