Ingina smiled and nodded. "It okay." Seth isn't so bad actually. He seems nice and polite too, although she still thinks Kayin and Turel are nicer. She had knew that Seth must liked shiney things, why else would such a shiney and pretty pen be given to her?
"Seth seems to be a smart boy..." Dragain took and the glass of orange juice and drank it up. "It'll do Eph." Dragain said as she placed the empty glass on the table. "Thanks! That felt great!"
Dragain turned to Ingina and asked, "Sweetie, do you want a drink?" Ingina looked up and shook her head. "No."

Seth reached over to the table holding the tray and stole a grape from the bowl, and popped it into his mouth. He examined the pretty pin further. It was very pretty.
"Would yopu like a drink?" Ephemeral asked Seth with a smile. The boy only shook his head no, still staring at the pin. Ephemeral gave a little laugh and sat on the chair beside Dragain. She offered her a warm smile. "Seth is getting there. He doesn't seem bothered to try talking very much, maybe that's why he's not there yet." She paused for a second. "I'm glad someone was here for his first words though. I really need to get him some more friends. Maybe it will push him to try talking with them."
Seth finally put the pretty pin in his pocket, and instantly his eyes were caught by Ingina's wings. He flapped his own wings slightly. He was sure they had gotten bigger since the last time he had seen her, and he was very prideful of them. He reached back and hesitantly plucked a small feather from them, handing it to Ingina. "Ah. Ah!" he babbled. Did she like his wings too?

Ingina took the feather with a smile, and plucked a feather from her own wings. She gave it to Seth and examined Seth's feather, finding it soft, but with a different texture to her own. She nodded happily to Seth and brushed her fingers against Seth's feathers.
"I like Seth feather." Ingina inquired, "Seth like my feather?"
Dragain giggled, "Well, Ingina has no problems making friends, but she like to socialise with only a few. Namely Kayin and Turel." She took a sip from her cup and offered Ingina a sip. Ingina shook her head again, not wanting a drink.

Seth took the feather with a little bit of caution. It looked very delicate, almost as pretty as his own feathers...He brushed his fingers over it, smiling as he did so. He nodded to Ingina happily, responding to her question. "Thank you!" He said with barely any effort this time.
Ephemeral was very happy to hear Seth speaking, even if it was only two words. She turned back to Dragain with a thoughtful expression. "Turel..." She smiled as she remembered the name. "Kohenkyo's little boy! I think that Seth has met him before! He is a very nice boy. I think Seth was really attracted to his wings."
Seth brushed the feather against his face, his eyes closing. He almost drifted off right there. He was getting very, very tired.
Eph frowned sadly as she eyed Seth. "Oh man...I'm really sorry Dragain, but I think I have to put Seth to bed now. You see...he's usually awake during the night, because he can only go outside in the dark." She sighed. "Maybe I can meet you two over at the HQ sometime.." She said, with a nervous smile. She felt bad about having to kick the guests out so soon.
[Sorry, I thought maybe we should end this soon, since it's taking a while. I'm such a slacker. xD]

Ingina smiled at Seth happily and nodded. "You're welcome!" She chirped, and upon seeing that seth's going to fall asleep, she tugged Dragain's shirt and climbed onto her lap.
"It's okay." Dragain replied, nodding, "Well, see you over in the HQ then."
She stood up with Ingina in her arms and smiled at Ephemeral for a while before asking, "Maybe you can be a guest over at my house one day?"
Ingina peered over her mother's shoulders and gave a little wave to Seth. "Bye bye, and sleep tight!" Dragain helped herself out the door and gave Ephemeral another wave before deciding to take a taxi home instead of walking. Seeing Seth drifted off to sleep had made her feel pretty tired too.

Ephemeral gave a friendly smile and nodded. "Going over to your place sounds like a great idea, and I'll bet it would be really good for Seth!"
Apon hearing his name, Seth's eyes opened drowzily, and he looked towards the door just in time to get Ingina's goodbye. He raised his hand and waved it, barely able to keep it in the air. He didn't even notice it drop back down into his lap as he drifted off, grasping to the feather in his left hand.
Ephemeral waved at Dragain until the door was closed behind her, then turned to see Seth asleep on the couch. She smiled as she scooped him up, walking him gently up the stairs to his room. It had been quite the good day for him. His first words....this mum thing wasn't so bad.
Setting Seth down in his crib, Ephemeral stroked some of the boy's hair back. A small thank you came from the boy, bringing another smile to Eph's face before she left the room.

[To anyone who reads this diary, you will have to excuse my lack of updates. It is never much fun for someone to have a gap in their lives like poor Seth right now. D:
To explain, Seth's character has develloped slightly, but only in my mind. In my abscence he has become capable of some speech, he has learned to walk (Or waddle, if you prefer to call it.), and he isn't much liking the new family members.
Family members:
Yume -- Arrived early one morning. None too pleasant of an arrival. Seth is afraid of his sword, though he doesn't like to admit it and turns his fear into a dislike for the monkey-boy.
Neji & Natchu -- Siblings, I think. Twins, maybe. Mostly wolf, some portian human? Seth seems to like Neji, but mostly ignores Natchu.
Albel -- Mysterious little guy. Nice tail. Seth feels threatened by him, thinking he will take over all the attention.
Other than that, I can think of nothing too major that has happened. More things will be explained through roleplay.
