The best drummer is Derek Roddy. hey buddie suk my c**k i no a lot of drummers than just lars, like tommy lee, steven adler. so stfu i no way more about metal than u ever will. and and at least im not a 35 year old nerd livin in my moms basement. first, little angry turd, I'm not 35, you shouldnt believe everything you see in profiles, and second, I know WAY more metal than you do, or ever will, and there are many better ones in the guild. I am musically trained (if you say you are too I'll laugh so hard I'll wake up my cousins, so please don't), so I know that Lars is a very imibatle drummer, even the boring drummer from Korn could play like him. And those two other drummers you mentioned are obviously product of a last-minute-look-up on the net before you replied to my post. Plus they suck even harder than lars. go back to hang around real metalheads and actually learn something this time before you come in here and try to teach people. SLAYER! because Megadeth has a genre identity crisis. And Lars killed it for Metallica because lets face it, He is the worst metal drummer ever and Dave Lombardo can kick Lars' a** with one bass drum.
oh and btw for those who think that Lars is a god drummer, He's not. But Derek Roddy and George Kollias are gods. Just listen to the music they made in Nile. Best metal drums ever.

Death Metal drummers are probably the fastest in the world. But I don't agree that Lars sucks. I personally have always enjoyed his unorthodox style, also he had some natural talent... considering on "No Life Til Leather" he hadn't been playing for very long. As for Metallica vs. Megadeth... Metallica, my first true love in music. But I agree with whomever said that Megadeth members are better musicians... Except for one thing... Personally I like James's playing more. Dave Mustaine < James Hetfield Glenn Drover/Dave Mustaine > Kirk Hammet Shawn Drover = Lars Ulrich James MacDonough < Cliff Burton/Jason Newsted/Robert Trujillo This is just my opinion on a battle/war thats been going on inside my head for years razz

well being as megadeth is my favorite band id have to say them. metallica is ok too but i just like daves style more they seem much more aggressive and i like their songs way more than metallica's
