[[@Izm: Tis okay. :3]]

At the eerie sound, the Prince's hand tensed, curling into a fist against the Dormouse's back. With a roll of his eyes, the twenty-something year old tilted his head towards the noise, "A cat, indeed," he muttered with a look of almost distaste. Contrary to popular belief, the Prince was rather grateful for the Cat's information but the feline was quite annoying with his extravagant entrances.

The rabbit and the human followed (one rather begrudgingly) after the soldier, the white-haired teen hiding behind Admon with a frightened expression reserved for times when the Prince was mentioned. Not only was he late, but he had brought a mortal along and the bunny wasn't sure how the Prince would react to Alex... Alex, that was his name, right?

Turning to the disturbed-looking human, the Rabbit sniffed a bit before clinging onto the toy solder's arm. "I guess you're right. Hopefully...he'll be in a better mood for some reason now," he murmured in a light tone, brown eyes wide in a frantic manner.

The Mad Hatter poured himself tea into the cup that, unknown to him, had a hole in the bottom. The March Hare lay beneith said cup, with mouth wide. After a few moments of pouring tea the Mad Hatter tipped the cup back to his lips and drank... nothing.

"My, my!" The Mad Hatter exclaimed smacking his lips, "I do believe that was decaf... I didn't taste a thing. How marvioulous!!"

The March Hare hiccuped from his place under the chair and then promptly fell into a doze.

The Mad Hatter twirled the cup on his finger before sighing. " You know, being a duo and not a trio is a very sad thing. Because instead of three we have two which means it's just, really, me and you. And you a abore at times like now when you just snoze and snore and are such a bore. Two to three is not like three to two and now it's truely three by two being one which is me... you see? I'm alone!!" The Mad Hatter burst into giant crocidlie tears the slithered down his cheeks. And into his mouth which had him sputtering in spitting.
"I'm drowning in the sea I say! Salt water choking me! I'm going to drown! " The than took the tea pot and poured most of the contents on his top hat which spirled along the rim only to pour into another pot which he picked up, poured into an tea cup and drank.
"Ah, Hare, you make the greatest tea..."

All he got in responce was a snore.

((I'm not the March Hare, it's just hard to play the Mad Hatter without him))

[[I realize there hasn't been much posting here in the past few days, sorry about that.

-> Abyss notified me that she's not going to be rping for a bit. The Cheshire Cat's just going to go invisible- hiding out somewhere, I suppose- for a while~ x3

-> I've had a few family emergencies (my little sister has been in the hospital twice in the past few days).

I just wanted to notify you guys that this thread may be a little dead for a tad bit. If others have time to rp then feel free to, I'll try to reply when I can.

@Dorebit: Sona said she would RP the March Hare, but she hasn't given me a profile yet. I'll try and see if she still wants to do that, otherwise I'll open that character up again for someone else.]]

A fleeting smile spread across the marionette's lips before it slipped (for the most part) off just as easily as it had on. Truthfully, knowing the prince, and his history - as well as his royal mother (as he bore no known resemblence to his... well, for the moment Admon would have to say "lacking" as a description for the lad's father, the king, as harsher words would be cruel to one who at least seemed to have good intentiontions), who had never seemed to bode well with the prospect of waiting, something that had often caused her to lose her temper... which invariably seemed to be the cause of axes and guilletines and other various objects that just invariably might cause beheading to... happen.

"I'm... sure he will have... found something. The Dormmouse was scheduled to meet him...." he glanced down at his own - and highly treasured - pocket watch, "just about now. So he's likely to be fine," he said in a reassuring manner. "Don't you worry on it. Just concentrate on getting there all the quicker -- and I'm sure he'll be glad to see that I've returned you in all in one piece and not ravaged by some... something horrible," he concluding, not wishing to disclose his hypothesis of a rabbit-eating flower.

[[@Izm: I'm so sorry to hear that! :C -hug- Don't feel pressured at all to rp, I'll drop that story line for now and you can always pick it back up later if you want to. :3
@My Dorebit!: Thanks. She's recovering now, so it's all good. (She only had to have an emergency tonsillectomy so it wasn't anything too serious).

I'm going to drop the Prince/Dormy/Cheshire Cat plot for a while and wait if those rpers would like to join eventually. Thus, some chartacters who haven't had a chance to rp much (Caterpillar, Mad Hatter, Daemo, etc) will be able to come into play. :D

I'll try to down play the white rabbit now and start rping Alex because there's nothing more fun than rping a highly scared-on-the-inside teenage boy. <33]]

The rabbit quirked his head to one side, ears flopping animatedly to the left as he mulled over the soldier's words. "Ravaged?"

"Ravaged?" Alex echoed the term with a streak the color of boiled lobsters touching his cheeks. To any self-respecting adolescent male, the word had only one connotation and one alone, a meaning which he would not dwell on at the moment lest he find himself slipping further into embarassment.

Blue eyes followed after the twitchy rabbit, who seemed to find the term very amusing. He kept repeating it in different ways, emphasizing certain syllables as he sang to himself.

"Raaavaaage~" Scrunching up his nose as he pronounced the word, the rabbit quickly turned to the soldier. "It rhymes with cabbage. Ravage a cabbage," he murmured in a very serious manner, his tone unexpectedly sing-song as brown eyes hesitantly drifting over the toy soldier's face before dropping down to slink over his pocket clock.

((Eheh. You know, I didn't intentionally use that words for... that purpose. Didn't even think of it. I feel real stupid right about now. xD;; ))

"Aye," responded Admon with all intended seriousness ((I keep wanting to type 'seriousity')). "For one of your size and importance, it is quite possible that you be way-layed on your journeys -- perhaps even kept a prisoner. The prince is, quite obviously, an important figure. You being his personal messenger... well, let's just say that it is quite possible that one or more parties with less than good intent might take it upon themselves to imprison you -- perhaps even threaten you, though I doubt there are any who would dare attack you within the borders of the country." Admon spoke with a confidence born from... well, to say it frankly, several months ago when he had last been reshaped. His last form had been that of a young... assasin. The toy soldier wasn't quite sure where the prince got his ideas, but he was sure he had to be reading something to influence his judgements in character -- and Admon's form generall was either that of a young boy... or someone to protect a young boy. Really, the servant wasn't quite sure what to think, even if he were capable of thinking any ill of his master and creater.

"I dare say that might not be the best idea," he replied to the rhyme. "With cabbages being what they are today, quite possibly an attack upon one could lead to dire concequences."

[[Tis okay. x3]]

"I don't think I'm very important," the rabbit murmured in a nervous tone, brown eyes dancing acrossed the various medals and detailing along the toy soldier's uniform. Admon really was quite colorful compared to the surroundings of black and dark and grey and sad. The same could be said for the fair-haired, cotton-tailed teen. His uniform, of sorts, was very similar to that which Admon was wearing but more suited for his role as a messenger rather than a brave soldier! "At least not as important as you," he added with a soft smile, "The Prince is always sending you off on missions so he must think highly of you," he mumbled with a fearful twitch of an ear. The very thought of the Prince was not entirely pleasing to him, especially since he was so late...so late that he didn't even dare look at a clock or a watch or a sun dial or even a moon dial for fear that he would faint away into that dark place.

"Don't be so rude, Admon," the rabbit chided, turning dark eyes upon the soldier with a frown, "Cabbages are very nice vegetables when you get to know them, and they commonly settle down if you n** them in the bud," he explained, his frown fading as his nose twitched at an almost unpleasant odor wafting through the trees. They must be close to the edge... That was where that sleepy fellow lived. The Rabbit had never been too fond of that man either, but he was with a mortal and a soldier and everything would be fine...

"Ah, but you are," intoned the soldier, his long, strong left arm sweeping out to ever so gently be placed around the other's shoulder -- a;most as if he were greeting a fellow soldier. "Just think what a dark and gloomy place our kingdom would be with out you running around to mind it? Hmm? Now, don't you think that would be a sorry sight? My, a kingdom with out its rabbit? No, no... I think that just coulndn't possibly be worse. And, being one such as I who does go around and see many a rabbit-less place, I can personally vouch for this in true opinion. However, you, being a rabbit, cannot possibly know what it is like to be with out a rabbit, as you yourself keep yourself in rabbity company, if you do follow my lead," he said conversationally, reaching forward with an extended sword arm to sweep away growing creepers that threatened to impose on his previously made made. "And so you do see your importance, I hope, and what a sorry sight our kingdome would be with out you." Admon's lips twitched up gently at the corners. Personally, he thought the rabbit quite adorable -- possibly because he was... well, he was short and not constantly yelling orders. Besides, no one called the prince cute. Princes were handsome, and that was that, and rabbits were cute. That was the way of things, as he saw it.

"But I'm not the only rabbit. There's always the March Hare, and he seems to be a nice fellow even if he drinks too much tea," the white-tailed teen murmured, wringing his hands together to keep them from grabbing the closest watch and checking the time. It was so tempting to just...peer over- brown eyes floated down the soldier's waist, towards the clock resting there. It had a very pretty colored chain attached to it to keep the pocket watch in place... Snapping his eyes forward, the rabbit squirmed uncomfortably. He couldn't look at it, oh he couldn't look!

"He is not quite like me but I don't think that changes much. I think the Prince could use him as a messenger too if he wished, but I'm happy to know this dreary place would be much more dreary and sad if I weren't here to chase after. I think life would be horrid without you, Admon, as well. You see, as I think you already know, I get lost so easy and you always have to come looking for me...and then there was that one time with the huge tap dancing spider...and I thought I was a cooked rabbit, but you saved me and I don't think I ever said thank you for it," he murmured with a tense expression, eyes fidgeting around the perimeters of the forest.

Admon shook his head appriciatively. "No thanks is needed. For, you see, with out one to be rescued, such as yourself, my current existence is meaningless - though I do think the prince did say something of a change in my role soon... hmm... but, my roles are more or less always the same, are they not? And my duties do tend to involve saving you rathing more than less of the time," he mused slowly. He had caught the other's glances. CLearly, the poor rabbit was going through time-withdrawl. He was always so keen on being so exact with timeliness and some such....

Still, it was rude to leave one out of a conversation, though he had the indesensy to be an unknown third person. However, Admon was not one to admonish others for misuse of non-militant manners, particularly in the question of one neither militant nor... normal. "So... you are a mortal," he began conversationally, turning towards Alex as he deftly shooed away some stray folliage that had decided to grow in their way. "You'll likely have a tough time of it, then, though I'm not one who would know too well." He smiled then and gave the other the sort of "chin up" gesture what was not uncommon to be given a new recruit of the military -- not that Alex was one, but... he looked rather as if he needed some sort of encouragement, and that was what Admon had to offer.

((Bleh. They all turn out nice in the end. Watch out, Tato, or we'll end up with another Shin on our hands.... D: ))
PostPosted: Sat May 05, 2007 7:16 pm

[[But I love Shin... D: I plan on having our dear Prince reporgram poor Admon into something much less nice. twisted ]]

Alex had tuned the crazies out for the most part, simply trying to keep up with a pair and not get caught in all the tentacle-like vines. Looking up, the blond grimaced at the soldier's seemingly comforting words. He had said, 'so you're a mortal,' as if it were something like saying, 'so, you had peanut-butter toast for breakfast, eh? That's my favorite.' In this world, or whatever the heck it was, being a human was obviously not common place, no matter how humanesque anyone looked they were far from being mortal.

With a nod to express he'd heard the soldier, Alex lowered his head, ending the brief conversation. He expected to be left alone, but quite quickly after he'd let his gaze lower something latched onto his arm...and that very something was that annoying rabbit. He didn't have to look up because he could hear the teen. He was asking all sorts of questions about humans and other worlds and if he liked the color red because he thought it was a rather dashing color. He also expressed that he did not like cats and that the cat they had met earlier was a horrible cat and not by any means handsome at all. "And you can't trust him, either. So don't even try," the slender boy warned, his usually pale cheeks taking on a pinkish tone as he continued to tell the human all about the bad things of wonderland.

"But I'm not so bad, I don't think anyway...and neither is Admon because he was made to be quite nice and gentle, I suppose," the rabbit smiled at this, glancing at the soldier before turning his brown eyes back on the human. "So you can trust us, but I'd trust Admon more because he doesn't get lost and he's very handsome, unlike that stupid cat."

((Ohdear. Sounds delicious. 8D ))

Admon chuckled slightly, his gray eyes intent apon the road ahead, though he did keep the pair in his vision. "Well, you can't simply take the rabbit's words for it, I suppose, as we all ourselves must decide whom to trust... but I don't think I'm overly distrustworthy, at the very least." He snapped his gloved fingers and, the tip of his index twitching up to extend to his own temple. "Hmm... well, it does seem that this is taking a rather long time...." he murmured slowly as he cleared away yet more folliage. "Something must be up -- the prince is likely preoccupied. And, as you should both know, when the mind is busy, the maze grows...." Depsite having adressed the pair, he seemed to be talking more to himself.

He glanced back down at the pair, his gray eyes warm. "We should be there within... well, a short time -- though that time may vary. Mmm." All in all, the soldier seemed rather a thoughtful fellow.

((I've finally figured it out!! Admon is acting weird because I unconsously began modeling him after the Gate Keeper from the Keys to the Kingdom (very good series by Garth Nix). Mmm... ohwell. 8D;; ))
