Naruto was slightly dissappointed. Another two of three minutes and he would've gotten another bowl. That's just how it goes though... He stood and smiled, "Well, why don't we... Uhhhh.... Take a walk in the forest! It is a nice day out, other than the cold." He rubbed the back of his head and started walking to the gates of Konoha.

Shino was right behind the blond and followed quietly. They reached the gates and the gate keepers nodded them through. "Were to?"

Naruto looked around and pointed in a random direction. "This way," he said and started walking. He always did this, no matter how lost he knew he would get. It was always fun to try and find his way back.

When Naruto started to wander aimlessly, which was pretty soon, Shino began to wonder if this had been a bad idea. But he jogged out of his thoughts when he sensed another presence.

Naruto was completely oblivious to any other presence and continued on with his wandering. He wondered if Shino would freak out if they got lost in the forest. It was a tempting thought, to get purposely lost. would the bug boy be angry at him? 'We'll just have to find out,' he thought to himself.

The presence didn't seem to be bad. Just there. Shino was skimming the surroundings for any tell tale signs of another person. He inched closer to Naruto.

He noticed the bug boy's wary look and smiled. Was being lost making Shino nervous? He supposed it did and kept walking, trying to get them even more lost than they already were.

Behind Shino's sunglasses, his eyes widened. Oh no... not the Atakuski. (spelling?) This isn't good. How am I going to warn Naruto? Faking a relaxed manner now, he quickly calculated a plan.

Naruto glanced back and noticed the bug boy wasn't panicy any more. 'Damn... Well, it was fun while it lasted. I bet I could still annoy him!' he thought to himself, continueing to wander in random directions.

Suddenly a kunai whizzed past Naruto. Shino reacted by pulling him back.

Naruto gave a small yelp, from being pulled back and almost falling over. "What the-- What was... Was that a Kunai!?" he questioned, looking back at Shino, who still had his arm. Since he fell backwards he was in an awkward position of actually being in the bug boy's arms.

Shino had briefly considered taking advantage of this, but decided that this wasn't the time. "Yes. It's Itachi and Kisame."

Naruto let himself slip back from Shino a little, hoping to make the situation less awkward. "Those two? What are they doing here!?" he aske, mostly himself, but the bug boy as well. He was actually hoping the two intruders would hear and pop up to explain themselves.

Kiba walked around the village slowly, his hood pulled over his head as usual. Akamaru was right behind him, snapping at the snow that drifted down slowly. The dog boy looked down and behind himself after hearing a odd sneezing sound emit from Akamaru. "Hah. Don't look up too much or you'll get more snowflakes up your nose." he said with a slight laugh. Akamaru in turn, snapped at another snowflake, disregarding the comment.

"They are not going to come out int he open and politely explain their presence Naruto." Shino said this and waited for another attack. "Hn. I think they want to wait until your alone to try and capture you."
