Nodding acceptingly, Varian calmed his sulk. Well...at least they offered decent advice, this time. Potions, if he decided to go that route, he'd have to get from the healers...somehow. He could find a way, he felt sure.
And his wits...well, he'd have to find a way.
"Well, this advice is better then nothing."
Hm. Perhaps the best way of going about things, would simply be to lay 'traps', and find a way to pin blame on others. He would need to do research on Kayce...
"Are we done for today, then?"

While Dessa was faintly annoyed with Varian's arrogance, Zaniel simply purred at the boy. Yes. Wonderful brilliant boy. "I think we are done for today, yes, unless you have any further questions?" The male fae assumed Varian didn't, the way he was practically asking to leave. "Keep on practicing, maybe with the mirror if it helps. Next time we meet, may your ear be fully healed," he said, wishing for the mangled ear to be back to normal. It was slightly disturbing, though he was curious as to how it had gotten that way.
Dessa simply nodded in agreement, her dark eyes focused on their tutee.

Standing, Varian offered a faint smile to his two tutors, "No, those were all of my questions."
That he thought wise to ask, anyway, what with their reaction to his poison question. He still had quite a few things he wanted to look up...he wasn't going to stop his little plans against Kayce simply because others thought it wise. Even if those 'others' were his tutors.
And as for his ear...
"It will be."
Varian refused to let himself accept anything else. In his opinion, he should be able to take care of it fairly soon - after all, he was able to make that small section look better. With more practice, he should be able to heal it completely.
And, once again, ignoring that little voice that fretted about whether he'd not be able to do so.
Then, after a bow of his head, he left.
