Brayden balked at the Steelix.

"Its huge..." he gasped, as the mighty iron snake slithered through the tunnels, barreling down on them at an insane speed.

"STTRRRRRROOOOOARR!" the Steelix roared, glaring at the intruders inside his mountain.

Gin'iro darted in front to defend Brayden. Releasing a Fire Blast, Gin'iro charged, ready to strike again.

The flames leaped through the small tunnels, arcing towards the Steelix. The metallic Pokemon screeched in a steel-like scream as the flames hit their target. They took a moment to die down, but when they did, Brayden saw that the Steelix was defeated, as it fell to the cavern floor with a deafening crash.

"How could you be defeated by that boy?"

"You saw him, he took out that Steelix in one blow!"

"Excuses...." Came the sinister laughter, as Cyrus took a closer look at Brayden on the monitor, "However, it is intriguing that even you were defeated..."

"Give me another chance, sir, that's all I ask!" Jupiter begged, however, the Galactic boss waved her off absently.

"Saturn?"

"Yes, sir?" Saturn stood, eager smile already appearing.

"Show this boy a proper welcome..."

"As you wish, sir," Saturn ran off through the tunnels. Their mission had to be protected at all costs...

A while later found Saturn standing in front of Brayden.

"You may have beaten Jupiter, but I'll show you Galactic's not one to trifle with!" he declared, calling out his first Pokemon.

The Kadabra staggered back, struck by the blow from Caliga. The psychic fox narrowed his eyes, prepared to strike back.

"Alright, Kadabra, use Miracle Eye!" Saturn called, pulling his trump card. He had a feeling that Brayden would send out a Dark type.

The Kadabra nodded, closing his eyes as he concentrated. A strange eye opened in the middle of the Kadabra's forehead temporarily, flashing silver as a beam of light shot out to strike Caliga.

"Gah, you sure are irritating," Saturn muttered, shaking his head as he motioned Kadabra forward.

"Use Psychic!" he called, hoping to get a hit in despite his Pokemon's confusion. However, it didn't work. The Kadabra released the blast of energy, only to have it recoil and strike at its wielder, the fox-like Pokemon unable to hold its concentration long enough to complete the strike.

"Kadabra!" Saturn called, hoping that his partner would survive to continue. The psychic type was weak, however. It was definitely on its last leg.

"Recover!" Saturn demanded, hoping his call would go through. Luckily, it did, as the Kadabra glowed with a faint light, absorbing the energy around it to restore some of its lost health.

Saturn was starting to panic a bit. He was definitely in a tight spot. He had no other choice than to heal. If not, Kadabra was doomed the next blow that fell.

"Recover again!" he called to his Pokemon, who tried to fight through the confusion to heal his wounds once more. Thankfully he was successful, as the familiar healing light engulfed the Kadabra once more.

XD Although I totally snagged that from an episode of The Invisible Man. XD They could see through Fawkes' eyes due to the nanobugs, and could hear what he heard. It was an amusing episode. XD

"We're not through, and we won't give up!" Saturn stubbornly insisted, motioning the Kadabra into another Recover. The Kadabra was able to fight through his confusion yet again, healing himself further as the familiar glow of Recover surrounded the Pokemon once again.
