Yeah, thats why I said maybe just a difference in breeds. But I don't remember it ever being said in Fantastic Beasts that they have a certainb lood color.

BeeBrittney Empress_Kat Diana_Faye This is huge one! Fred and George were in their sixth year (which was their last year as well) and before they went to Hogwarts they came of age (17) and had started apparating, which means they were 12 not 11 when they first entered Hogwarts. (It says when they are leaving something along the lines of, "We don't need to come back for another year.") I'm not sure what you're getting at here, but when they left they were in 7th year, because they are two years older then Ron, according to JKR. Yeah, I agree with Empress_Kat. I don't think there were any mistakes... =/ Well then the mistake is in the book because it says something about them not coming back next year.

Spoiler: I noticed in the 6th book, J. K. kept referring to 'vials' as 'phials'. I don't know if it was just me.... or if she messed up uber-time. What do you think?

LaVieEnRose there was a big one in GoF. when the whole priori incantatem thing happened, and the shadows of voldys victims started coming out of his wand. they made james come out before lily, and lily died after james. it should have been the other way around, since the order of voldemorts spells were reversed. I noticed this and it really bugged me at the time. I was sitting there thinking 'but if everyone's coming out backwards, shouldn't Lily come before James?'

It could either be an actual mistake, or maybe JK was forshadowing something that everyone took as a mistake and dismissed the idea of a forshadowment.

The Fluff Major problem on CoS:
First off, they didnt have indoor plumbing hundreds of years ago. That means that this sink was installed after the creation of the Chamber of Secrets. Thus we can assume that not only did the person who installed this sink not notice the giant underground labyrinth of impending doom behind it, but he also just so happened to put in a unique faucet with a snake on it precisely where it needed to be. Not to mention the fact that back when the Chamber was first opened there was not yet any reason for people not to use this bathroom, and so presumably they did, and the heir got away with everything in a public restroom. Not only that but a womens restroom where he would have been rather conspicuous anyway.
Stolen from here: http://www.geocities.com/darthmaligna/fanfic.html 3nodding I just assumed that the plubing was magic. Like, not normal-plumbing, but with some sort of magic involved. Cause if I had magic powers, and had to use outhouses, one of the first things I'd do was improve the bathroom situation. Ugh.
