Her fingers felt so lite touching him. He had to look over his shoulder with a smile to find out that her hand was there. Adriel carefully walked up to the water making sure to take his time so she could absorb everything around them. He stopped when the waves pushed up water onto their feet. He looked over his shoulder to see her face. He stepped in a little closer so she could get her feet wet too. He would take as much time as she needed before he would move again.

Montana walked with him, watching the water rolling forward then retreating again. Her heart pounded, so many new sensations at once! Still she braced herself and put her foot forward, wet sand greeted her tender under used foot. What happened next defied her ability to put into words. The moment the water hit her foot, she gave a mix between a yelp and a squeak as she leap into the air, hovering a few inches off the ground, her hand never leaving Adriel's shoulder. The hand quivered and she exclaimed, "That is one of the oddest sensations!" No coward to the new and different, she finally came down and allowed the water to rush over her foot, calming slowly

Adriel chuckled. She gave him a bit of a startal when she yelped. "Yes it is. But I'm proud of you for doing so much so quickly." He said looking at her with a smile. "I wouldn't offer to take you here if I thought you would get hurt." He turned around to face her letting her hand still rest on his shoulder. "Would you like to go a little deeper?"

Montana turned her very light blue eyes to Adriel when he spoke to her, and she turned on a smile in response to him saying he was proud of her. That smile grew in warmth when he told her that he wouldn't take her anywhere that she'd get hurt. Her mirrors protected her, just maybe, she found a protector outside of the mirror. That thought alone made her feel so much better.
She turned to look at the water, it felt so weird, she was sure it would feel even more so the farther they went, but she believed him when he said he wouldn't offer to take her somewhere she'd get hurt so she nodded telling him, "Okay, I am ready to go deeper."

He wouldn't take her too deep. He took a few steps backwards slowly till she was up to her knees. He smiled and let the water tap against their legs. The waves pushed against his thighs making him wave alittle bit but he took a better stance to stand straight in the water. The only thing that worried him would be falling walking backwards and scaring Tana.
Adriel looked down between them. He saw something shiny. Bending over carefully he picked it up. He let it hover above the water just enough so each wave would wash off a new layer of dirt. "I like the feel of the muck." He said with a chuckle. "I think we may have found something." He said holding it up to her.

Montana moved one leg, kicking it underwater amazed by the resistance the water gave. As she got used to it, it became nicer to be in. Any time a wave pushed hard enough to mess with her balance, she held firmer to Adriel's shoulder, trusting him to keep her safe, as well as beating her wings to balance her out.
The muck, she guessed, was the stuff under their feet, it was different but she kind of liked it too, because it was soft and easy on her feet. Watching what he brought up closely, she awaited seeing what it looked like without the muck on it, "The muck feels different, very different, but its nice too." Different and new didn't mean bad, they meant very many things but bad was one of the last things those words could mean.
