Fish, who had been warned about this sort of thing, frowned at Len. "That's not a businessman," he said, trying to keep his voice low and even. Until the situation was assessed, it was best to pretend like it didn't exist. "Miss Floros told me they're trouble, and I've heard rumors that they work for the government."
He glanced at the other children. "Don't act like it's anything, because if we run, I think he's gonna run. I've only seen them once or twice before. You probably never noticed them because you didn't care, but now that you play, they do care."
"You know how I know he's one?" Fish asked. "It's cause he stands out. He's gotta be heads taller than everyone else, and he walks different. Kinda stiff."

“Okay. I got it,” said MJ as she assessed the situation to the fullest extent, and taking into account everyone around. “Here is the plan.”
MJ lowered her voice to a loud whisper, that way only the others around her could really hear her what she was saying as they continued to walk. “First, we need to get him into a somewhat deserted, open area. This way we can try and avoid any unnecessary encounter with other people. Meaning we have to get him into the square right inside the boundaries of Downer. By doing that we get ourselves to a somewhat large level fighting ground, with few people, if any. Next, to get him down there we can do it in one of two ways. The first we split up, Crow, Fish and Len would head one way and Writ will go with me the other. The three of you would get yourself to the square first by continuing straight, and prepare yourself, while Writ and myself would lead him on a bit longer path so that the three of you would be ready to attack. Or second we can all go down to the square together, and have no way of surprise attacking him. It up to all of us in the end,” said MJ as she looked around at everyone. "Any questions."

"Yeah," Crow replied with a sharp tone. "How about this, Miss Control Freak, we just ignore the guy and keep going. Hell, we would just make ourselves in more trouble by attacking him. Can the six of us take this guy? Seriously, THINK. ABOUT. IT. We prolly can't. So, rather than trying to lure the guy out, how about we just keep walking, don't go to his house, and split off when he can't see us and call it a day, kaay?" During this she was glaring rather darkly at M.J. "You don't pick on the big guys until you can beat them if you wanna survive."
She knew this all too well. Obviously this girl lacked street smarts.

"Uhh..." Writ caught up with the rabble to see Crow and MJ weren't exactly playing nice with one another. If the boy knew anything, you didn't get between two girls. So he decided to fall back with the other guys and let them decide on what to do, because he was apparently not leading anymore.
"Is the suit guy still following us?" He asked Len and fish, not facing either one of them in particular.

Not a businessman? Len looked back as the group slowly walked away. Well, the other boy was right...it did kind of look like a government-person, in suit anyway. But most of the other government people he saw around (either in his house for the many supper parties, or walking around Upper) were chubby, pasty, bald, not like this man at all. This one was tall, muscular...intimidating.
Len felt a knot of nervousness form in his stomach, one that he was very familiar with these last few days as he had wandered around Middling and Downer. The man was still following them.
"I think so," Len whispered back to the boy and motioned to walk faster.

Fish glared at Maria, and then at Crow. He's been about to say that.
"We've got no chance taking down a guy like that, even if we all team up," he concurred. Whatever her goddess had picked Maria for, it certainly wasn't brains, he decided.
"Look, our chances are much better if we split up one by one. No one goes immediately home or to Seasons, got it? Because he could follow any one of us. Just... do your best to lose him. Take lots of shortcuts, or go the long way, or go through Downers. But don't go home until you're sure he's not following you."
He saluted sharply and nodded. "Let's try that, okay?"
And if the suit got any one of them, he thought darkly, it wasn't his problem.

"Sounds quite right, Fish." Crow agreed as she tried to get to the center of the group--hooves and wings are damnably noticeable even to those not paying much attention.
She flicked her wings irritably. She wished they would just go away and never return. Crow paused for a moment, actually falling a few paces back. "See ya later!" She suddenly announced before dashing off into an alleyway.
She waited along the wall for a moment, her arm latched around her armband. "Please, please, please..."
She shut her eyes and slammed her head hard on the brick of the building. She felt pain leech up her spine and flow down her arms as she changed into a brownish wolf-dog. After she switched, she blinked a few moments and let her body rest. Three changes in one day, she was gonna sleep for a week at this rate.
Her skin itched with the sudden fur takeover, but she ignored it. She licked inside her mouth, getting some foam to, well, foam up. No one bothers a mad dog.
She walked lamely into the streets, and padded on home. The wolf-dog was by far the easiest form to take on, and the best as well. She had successfully willed herself to change for the first time in her life.
She'll be damned if she let it be the last.

Seeing Crow go, Writ waited a block before starting to another alleyway, it led to the back door of the cafe.
"My stop!" He called, slipping into the narrow path before going out of sight.
Blacksuits, eh? Coyote didn't like those men, they weren't part of the game and it wasn't any of their damn business. Grown men chasing and killing off kids... The tribes wouldn't have allowed it.

“Sorry for that rash thinking. I wasn’t thinking stuff to thoroughly at the moment. I should have asked and made sure that you guys were ready to, well fight I guess,” said MJ as she smiled a bit, thinking how to cut the horrible tension she has once again bestowed upon herself.
“But six against one,” she thought to herself. ‘Those were incredible odds; we would have the upper end on the battle. It was their full decision to choose what they wanted though. And now because of this Crow thinks I’m a control freak, but I guess that it’s my fault trying to think everyone was capable of fighting and...”
Stop blaming everything on yourself, just because your father thinks everything is your fault doesn’t mean it is, said the lady as MJ was cut off mid thought. Now just figure out away to cut this awkward silence, and remember if you ever see Crow again maybe telling her an apology would be good.
“Thanks for having that faith in me, and by the way I’m capable of felling that guilt. I know I have to apology to Crow,” replied MJ to the goddess as she decided it was time to break the horrible tension.
“Yeah, anyway if the whole kicking butt didn’t work, we could always try and bite his ankles, he wouldn’t be expecting that,” said MJ sarcastically as she continued to walk with the other two Godlings, hoping that broke the awkward tension for a bit.

Fish gave her a look that kind of said, you're not funny, you know? and shrugged.
"I've gotta get home," he announced, scouting out the area. The Blacksuit seemed to have lost them in the crowd a while back, but just to be safe he headed down an alleyway and another side street before making a dash for Harbor.

Len looked back. It was just him and the girl, the one who wanted to fight that suit-person. He was still new to the game, and Cthulhu hadn't been very helpful in explaining what he was and wasn't supposed to do. If he were more worldly, he might have noticed that his rules and guidelines weren't exactly the same as everyone else's and that maybe even his god had an altierior motive or two.
But he didn't. Len still had a lot of maturing to do.
"Uh..." he said as they passed yet another alleyway, "...it was nice meeting you." Another pause, followed by an abrupt, "bye." Len disapeared into the alley, running away as quickly as he had appeared.

“Nice meeting you too,” said MJ as Len ran off and she continue to wander down the alley, aware of her surroundings.
“Well, I guess it’s time for me to head home too, or more like find somewhere I can go hang tonight,” thought MJ to herself for a bit as she kept a hold on the Blacksuit’s prescense.
“Now, what do you mean by that,” asked the lady in her head.
“I’ll explain later, but it just I don’t want to listen to my father rant. On the other hand right now I think I’m going to lose him,” replied MJ.
“Fine, do what you please. Just don’t get yourself killed,” said the lady in concern knowing full and well that MJ was able to outrun him, but was just worried about if MJ would do something horribly stupid.
Turning around MJ took a quick glance at the Blacksuit and cocked her head to the side in a curious way. Then with a quick side step, she began running down the other alley at a quick run. Then she seemed to vanish when she turned another corner, which was going to lead her to a place closer to her intended destination for the night.
