mine's from The Gunners Dream
A place to stay, enough to eat, somewhere old heroesshuffle safely down the street, where you can speak out loud about your doubts and fears, and what's more, no one ever disappears you never hear their standard issue kicking in your door you can relax on both sides of the tracks, and maniacs don't blow holes in bandsmen by remote control and everyone has recourse to the law and no one kills the children anymore and no one kills the children anymore
and nobody home, all of it along with the Trial

Make your face up in your favorite disguise, with your button down lips, and rollerblind eyes.
So you think you can tell, Heaven from Hell?
There is no dark side of the moon, matter of fact its all dark.
but in the town it was well known when they got home at night their fat and psychopathic wives would thrash them within inches of their lives.
If you should go skating, on the thin ice of modern life. Dragging behind you, the silent reproach of a million tear stained eyes. Don't be surprizes when a crack in the ice, appears under your feet.
Its not easy banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall.
They tell me to please go ******** myself.
It's a sin that somehow, light is changing to shadow, and casting a shroud over all we have known, unaware how the ranks have grown, driven on by a heart of stone, we can find that we're all alone in the dream of the proud.
If I had my way, I'd have all o yah shot!

Vera does anybody here remember Vera Lynn Remember how she said that we would meet again some sunny day Vera! Vera! what has become of you Does anybody else in here feel the way I do?
Pigs (Three Different Ones)
Big man, pig man, ha ha charade you are. You well heeled big wheel, ha ha charade you are. And when your hand is on your heart, You're nearly a good laugh, Almost a joker, With your head down in the pig bin, Saying "Keep on digging." Pig stain on your fat chin. What do you hope to find. When you're down in the pig mine. You're nearly a laugh, You're nearly a laugh But you're really a cry.
Bus stop rat bag, ha ha charade you are. You ******** up old hag, ha ha charade you are. You radiate cold shafts of broken glass. You're nearly a good laugh, Almost worth a quick grin. You like the feel of steel, You're hot stuff with a hatpin, And good fun with a hand gun. You're nearly a laugh, You're nearly a laugh But you're really a cry.
Hey you, Whitehouse, Ha ha charade you are. You house proud town mouse, Ha ha charade you are You're trying to keep our feelings off the street. You're nearly a real treat, All tight lips and cold feet And do you feel abused? .....! .....! .....! .....! You gotta stem the evil tide, And keep it all on the inside. Mary you're nearly a treat, Mary you're nearly a treat But you're really a cry.
Wish You Were Here So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skys from pain. Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade Your heros for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange A walk on part in the war For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

I love the Brain Damage Lyrics.
The lunatic is on the grass The lunatic is on the grass Remebering games, daisy-chains, and laughs Got to keep the loonies on the path
The lunatic is in the hall The lunatics are in my hall The paper holds their folded faces to the floor And everyday the paperboy brings more
And if the dam break open many years too soon And if there is no moon upon the hill And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
The lunatic is in my head The lunatic is in my head You raise the blade, you make the change You re-arrange me 'till I'm sane
You lock the door And throw away the key There's someone in my head but it's not me
And if the cloud bursts thunder in your ears You shout and no one seems to hear And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.
And Eclipse is awesome too
All that you touch All that you see All that you taste All you feel All that you love All that you hate All you distrust All that you give All that you deal All that you buy beg, borrow or steal All you creat All you destroy All that you do All that you say All that you eat everyone you meet All that you slight everyone you fight All that is now All that is gone All that's to come and everything under the sun is in tune but the sun is eclipsed by the moon
Yeah. Shine on You Crazy Diamond and Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 are great too. I have way to much time on my hands.... sweatdrop Whatever! Go Pink Floyd!

personally I think
"And through the window on the wall comes streaming in on sunlight wings a million bright ambassadors of morning"
coupled with
"And no one sings me lullabys and no one makes me close my eyes so I throw the windows wide and call to you across the sky"
is gorgeous

Empty Spaces
What shall we use to fill the empty spaces where waves of hunger, roar shall we set out across the sea of faces in search of more and more applause shall we buy a new guitar shall we drive a more powerful car shall we work straight through the night shall we get into fights leave lights on drop bomb do tours in the east contract diseases bury bones break up homes send flowers by phone take to drink go to shrinks give up meat rarely sleep keep people as pets train dogs race rats fill the attic with cash bury treasure store up leisure never relax at all with our backs to the wall

Wow, no one has these yet...
Either that or I missed them.
Another Brick in the Wall (Part 3) "I don't need no arms around me I don't need no drugs to calm me I have seen the writing on the wall... Don't think I need anything at all!"
And the In the Flesh song. I prefer the one without the question mark...
And Mother. That's an amazing song.
One Of My Turns "Would you like to learn to fly? Would you like to see me try?
...Why are you running away?"
Oh, and...
Don't Leave Me Now "When you know how I need you... To beat to a pulp on a Saturday night."
Hey You is amazing. As is Waiting For the Worms.

My favorite lyrics are that of Breathe...
Breathe, breathe in the air. Don't be afraid to care. Leave but don't leave me. Look around and choose your own ground.
Long you live and high you fly And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry And all you touch and all you see Is all your life will ever be.
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done Don't sit down it's time to dig another one.
For long you live and high you fly But only if you ride the tide And balanced on the biggest wave You race towards an early grave.
(bolded is favorite verse)

I love the "All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be" line. Roger Waters is so amazing.
