Willow looked at Sidney. "I know that, but you two fighting is not good for my sancutary. Not to mention for the shop. What if people that were going to have a velvet saw this and then they didn't come in the shop?"

She sighed, "Now that would make a sad Iris wouldn't? And it'd make you two look back, not to mention to keep us from having friends. It's like when LP and Nara quibble, atleast they don't start and all out brawl."

Her ears twitched and pointed into Carl's direction. "Don't think I didn't hear that. Did you forget I have ghosts around not to mention that Tigers have supperior hearing anyways. How do you think my animal counter parts catch pests like you to eat them?"

Sidney heard him well enough too and he was about to retort angrily before he stopped himself. No, that wasn't the smart way of going about it. And as Willow has said, he shouldn't waste his time on getting worked up by Carl's words. No no.... better would be to act civil and have Willow see that he wasn't unreasonable, unlike the eagle. See that Sidney wasn't to blame and have it land on Carl instead. She already seemed to be leaning his way anyway.

He turned to look at the tiger teen. "You're right, I let him get to me and I just sorta... reacted to it." He said in a reflective tone. "Ssorry you had to ssee it Willow. When you first came in I thought you might be in danger too, but you look like you can take care of yoursself." He gave her a grin. "And I wouldn't want to upset Iris either. Won't happen again."

Oh no, it wouldn't happen again. Not like this anyway. Next time he saw the bird it sure wasn't going to be him falling on his face!

Pest?! He was no pest! Not he, the one whom had done nothing...ok neearly nothing...somewhat nothing wrong. Great - now even he was beinning to think he'd wound up looking like the bad guy in the situation.

Sid wasn't the only one who could twist words though! Even if he really wasn't that sorry, he lowered his tones to a deeply sympathetic sound and tries hid best to appear as though he meant half of what he wa to say.

"You're right...Although, I guess I'll just have to accept that some people can't appreciate my unique sense of self, it was hasty to go into a fight like that." Like it hadn't felt good throwing the ball at him...although...He would have been sorry if Sid really had gotten hurt. He didn't like the snake, but he didn't want to damage him. "Forgive me, Willow, and let's forget this ugly mess." And forget about telling his mom.

Now for the kill...The big, sad, birdy eyes. The sapphire orbs were more than assuring that he wouldn't be doing it again...

...At least not so that he'd get caught if he did have to fight Sid a second time.

Willow wasn't completely convinced they'd behave but she'd give them the benfit of the doubt for now. She looked at boht of them, "So now then if you two can play nicely....." She looked at both of them slightly warily. She was still set on informing Dee and Donna about this little mess. Just incase it was to happen again they would be expecting their little guys to come home hurt and be ready to talk to them.

She pondered, "Shall we play something together?" She was plotting something, not to mention when she looked at carl when he was given those big eyes she mearly shook her head. Favorites wasn't her kind of game, she mearly liked to watch the fun and take the more sane route until someone gave her a reason to take sides.

The snake wasn't going to be taken by Carl's act. He didn't have much doubt that the bird didn't mean a word of it. Well, maybe he did want Willow to forget about it. But Sidney certainly wasn't. He had to admit that Carl was rather good at doing the sad eyed look. Though it didn't do much to affect him, he knew it probably would on alot of other. Reptilian eyes didn't have quite the same appeal.

"Huh? A game?" He bought his attention back to the tiger. She still seemed to hae her suspicions but didn't voice them. Instead she had suggested they play something. "Umm... what kind of game?"

Carl had grown tired of the wall now and strode over, his confidence bouncing back like one of those super balls you get out of a pod machine. However, he kept his distance from Sidney and made sure to stay just beyond Willow.

Ah, games...but what to play...He didn't want to endanger the plushies, and he doubted the teens would want to explore the back rooms.

He'd recently heard of one that might work though...

"Perhaps Truth or Dare?"

Willow looked at sid and shurged. Her tail flickered, "Well... 'em not really sure. Hide and seek just wouldn't work anymore." She said with a laugh. "LP told me that when I played that in the shop as an animal I use to high among the plush toys and be likte statue still."

Looking to Carl she lofted her brow Truth or Dare.... sounded tempting but it might would've worked better if they had another velvet. "Welll... I don't know about that Carl. I think it works better in a foursome." She looked towards Sid to see what he would say. Althought the only think she could think of that might work would be hop scotch... and well.. Sid wasn't built for that.

Hide and seek didn't appeal to Sid either. Maybe because he was older it didn't seem quite as exciting anymore, even if Willow was still really good at it. "Did that work?" He asked, curious. If she was high up and really still it would have, but if you just stood in the open and tried to be a statue. "Hmm... I think we're a bit old for that now anyway. Well, uss, Carl's sstill young."

But the eagle's game idea did interest him. Sounded almost like a challenge. "Truth or Dare.... Yeah, I wouldn't mind playing that." He crossed his arms across his lithe chest. He was up for any dare and there were some truths he was sure Carl had hidden away.

So he had peaked the interest of his peers. Even if it was better in a foursome, there really wasn't much else to play with only three people, so it seemed that would be the challenge thrown down to them.

Carl grinned and brushed off his talons on the surface of his hoodie. "Truth or Dare than...I'll go first, neh?"

and his choice was obvious.

"Sidney, Truth or Dare?" Now he would expose the snake! In this game, he had to be truthful, and if that wasn't chosen - he could make him look foolish with dares, so the Eagle waited for the answer to come, anticipating what fun they would have in this game.

Willow looked at Carl. Oh well, truth or dare it was. She had a feeling this would end up getting a bit icky. Moving to lean on a wall she watched the two, having a slight feeling she wouldn't be doing much in this. Oh well, if it got too dirty she could try to use one of her scrolls, there might've been a paralyze in her bag. Althought she didn't know how well they'd work on those that weren't possessed.

Sidney glanced at Willow. She didn't look all that thrilled with their choice of entertainment but she didn't object either. Well he'd be sure to include her too. He might want to find out things about Carl but Willow was pretty nice. And she probably could take a few dares or reveal a few truths.

But it looked like he'd be Carl's first choice. No surprise there. Je looked him rigt in the eye, a funny sort of smile on his face. Alright, bring it on!

"Truth." He hissed, thinking it'd be an easy warm-up.

Ok than. Carl appeared to contemplate it for a moment before looking back with all serious intent to the question. He wanted to make this good and get some straight answers out of Sidney. "Ok...Are you scared of me? Be honest."

Not like he really expected the sneaky serpent to. He inclined his head slightly, waiting, and wondering just what the answer to that would be, albeit he had his suspicions firmly rooted already.

Willow lofted a brow. Hrm, she was slightly interested in the answer herself.

The confident look on Sidney's face slipped. He'd not expected that sort of question. And to answer truthfully... to Carl AND in front of someone else too. He glanced at Willow, who had perked up to hear too. And the worst part... he had to be honest. Those were the rules of the game.

Shrugging he tried to look casual. "There have been timess, life or death situationss with you where I have been sscared. But that helpss keep you alive." It didn't exactly answer the question though. "I would ssay I am... wary of you. Like you'd be wary of dangerouss animal or trap." He was certainly wary of Carl's intentions concerning him and the strength of the bird did scare him if he chose to admit it to himself.

So he WAS scared! Carl knew it! Another rule of the game was to be a good sport, at least so his mother had taught him with other games, so he supressed any signs of snickering and nodded. "Fair enough. Your turn."

Inwardly he was hoping Sidney wouldn't be as....creative in his questions as he'd dared with his. Somehow he doubted it though, and thus braced himself for the worst as he contemplated whether truth would be wise...
