man i still havent beaten 9... my bro sold his playstation with the 4th disk in it... idk it is pretty tight that they put things in there... i think there is a few in 12 but i cant remember them stressed

Heh I like it when they put little references in other FF games. Like in FFX-2 the kid "Shinra" was talking about how he was researching how the planets life force could be used as a power supply to run cities that would never sleep. Kind of reminds you of Midgar does it? 3nodding

But that's cool. I'll have to remember those tidbits when I finally get my hands on 9.

I can't help but feel that I'm the only person I know who has FF9... It's a great game too. But it could never beat FF7.

I played FF9 and finished it...I dunno why, but it felt like the FF7 Safer Sephiroth was harder than the FF9 Necron...

FFVII reference ahoy!!!! After you crash the airship into the evil woods at the start of the game, go inside to hear a band play the music from Final Fantasy 7, during the parade for Rufus. This is the Active Time Event called "Orchestra in the Forest".

That's really cool actually, I never knew that. I'll definitely check it out next time I play FF9 =D

Cloud is my absolute favorite FF character of all time ((Seconded by the all-sexy Seifer Almasy)) aswell as the star in my favorite game of all time. Anything having to do with him, I must discover xD Did anyone else manage to get Cloud to take a bath with like 15 other men in the game?

You know what.... I don't think there is a FF7 reference in FF8..... might have missed it though, but I'm pretty sure I heard there is one in FF10 somewhere.

I've heard that all the Final Fantasies are related. Like they are on the same planet or something. Like in Final Fanatsy X there are referances to Final Fantasy VII
