"Actually I've never found clowns terribly amusing. Slapstick humor is a poor excuse for the animal. One might as well laugh at an ill bred horse as slapstick, I think, they have the same sort of sad cruelty. I've just never heard anyone object quite so strongly to being given the ability to aquire small pleasentries at whim."
He tensed again as he spotted Chai, sitting up again and resting his arms across his knees, not quite sure how to interpret the sigh. Freind? Foe?
"...Freind of yours?"

"I'll take you at your word on that..." Feroz noted uncertainly, eyeing the running man with an skittish look of an stray cat trying to decide if the golden retreiver bounding its way is dangerous or merely excessively friendly. "Seems harmless enough I guess."

Feroz relaxed slowly as the cheerful man retreated again, blinking between Hyde and Chai as Hyde opened the envelope, and then chuckled again, resting his chin on his hand.
"Ah I see, it seems like a troubled marriage. More bubble tea for you then I suppose?"

"Well I suppose that makes it even more troubled..." He noted, with a surprised blink. Both male? That sort of relationship wasn't enirely unheard of, and he had no particular problems with it, but the idea of a male 'wife' was still an amusing, strange mental image.
"..some wh..oh...Bubble Tea?" He blinked, considering the idea a little owlishly as he reflected on the curious substance. "...I....suppose I can try it." He noted cautiously, thinking again of what the tapioca 'pearls' resembled. Somehow even without that mental image it seemed odd to consume anything that was named after a semi precious gem....

"Er...I have some trouble keeping your surface fruits straight to be totaly honest. I'm still working on that. Strawberrys are....the ones with the seeds all over right? I know they're one of the little red ones....." He took the hand almost without thinking, which seemed to surprise him a little bit, though he didn't tug on it particularly as he stood up, not wanting to overbalance the somewhat more delicately framed elf, patting his pocket with the other hand to check for his own money.

Grape...were those the bitter ones? No that was the can....er...-cranberries.
"I don't remember what those taste like...might as well do strawberry I think." He noted, shuffling as he moved to indicate he was willing to follow on this most curious quest. "Did you know you're changing color again?" Was that healthy? Funny certainly, but he didn't remember most surface types as changing color this often. And usually if they got paler it was a bad sign, indicating fear or sickness. What about red? One of them turned red when they sat in the sun too long, but it wasn't this color red and it didn't change back and forth.

"I didn't say it was a bad thing, I just wasn't sure if you were aware, or if it was an problem..." He noted, following, realizing he'd just made it worse. Embarassment then? That was an odd reaction to being embarassed. It certainly drew attention to the matter, but then most surface types didn't have much concern over hiding what they were thinking, the way some more powerful drow didn't.
"So...you get this often?"
