Steeveeo lmao, why would it even matter about a 'TH' unless you really were tryin to cheat xd And besides, I dont recall ever hearing Eureka refer to the Nirvash as a She and all the other Gekkostate crew members call the Nirvash an It But really, it doesnt matter, unless you're lookin thru a wiki EDIT: BTW It will do no good, Wikipedia does not have an article on the real life Seven(th) Swell, only Eureka Seven This is the last time i'll say it. I'm not trying to cheat, I didn't even take your quiz. Then you need to watch the series more closly because Eureka and Renton have switched on and off calling Nirvash a She and He. You have to click on the article for Eureka Seven, then read a little in it our scroll all the way down. Inside the article it tells you he true meanings to the certain words used in Eureka Seven 3nodding

Ok, Its close enough to 5:00 PM, and my Dad's pickin me up to go get ready to go to New Jersey soon so here are the answers:
1. What is the Summer of Love?
The Summer of Love refers to the summer of 1967, and particularly to the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco, where thousands of young people from all over the world loosely and freely united for a new social experience. As a result, the hippie counterculture movement came into public awareness.
2. Second?
The Second Summer of Love is a name given to the period in 1988 in Britain, during the rise of Acid House music and the euphoric explosion of unlicensed Ecstasy-fuelled rave parties. The term generally refers to both the summers of 1988/9 when electronic dance music and the prevalence of the drug ecstasy fuelled an explosion in youth culture culminating in mass free parties and the era of the rave. The music of this era fused dance beats with a psychedelic, 60's flavour, and the dance culture drew parallels with the hedonism and freedom of the Summer of Love in San Francisco two decades earlier.
3. Where does the term LFO come from?
LFO are an English techno outfit on the Warp Records label. LFO were one of the pioneers of the bass-heavy techno music of the late 80's to mid 90s. Originally comprising Gez Varley and Mark Bell, LFO is now Bell alone.
The band's name is derived from the abbreviation for the term low frequency oscillation, a synthesis technique widely used in electronic music.
4. KLF?
The KLF (also known as The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu (The JAMs), The Timelords and other names) were one of the seminal bands of the British acid house movement during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
5. Where do the type 303, 606, 909, etc get their names?
Classes of Synthesizers (I'll give 500g to anyone who remembers from who, because I forgot).
6. Where does AdRock get his name?
Adam Keefe Horovitz, also known as King Ad-Rock or Adrock, (born October 31, 1966, in South Orange, New Jersey) is a rapper, musician, producer, and actor. He is best known as a member of the pioneering rap group, the Beastie Boys.
7. Renton?
Mark Renton, protagonist of the novel Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh, and the film adaptation by Danny Boyle
8-9. Job and Woz
Co-founders of Apple Computers Inc. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak
10. Maurice, Maeter, and Linck?
Count Maurice Polydore Marie Bernard Maeterlinck (August 29, 1862 - May 6, 1949) was a Belgian poet, playwright, and essayist. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1911. The main themes in his work are death and the meaning of life.
BONUS QUESTION:
11. What is the real life Seventh Swell Effect?
Well nobody got this one, so here it is:
This happens on the beach of all places! Wait for a big wave, then count the next seven "Swells", each Seventh Swell will be bigger than the rest. Go to the beach and see! Its true, I've tried it!
Its amazing how much thought that BONES put into Eureka Seven!
But I'm still not sure of the similarities of 1246.
So thats it!
And it looks like rekkaryuu has won!! Congratz and enjoy your 1k!

who said it was a requirement to give out prizes?! eek
I just had an extra 3k, so I added that to the possible winnings of this one!
We at the Eureka Seven guild love a good quiz now and then, it keep our minds on topic! (as long as its not a random quiz...)
Speaking of random, anyone seen LinitaLena anywhere lately?
