" I DON'T WANNA GO BACK !!" , her young voice held no conviction and neither did she open her eys to the darkness of the woods. Which had, quite recently, gotten much eerier.

"Nope...me neither. This isn't scary...at all" he said, his voice shaking quite a bit. Every branch seemed to be claws looming, and their shadows were monsters ready to pounce. Too bad the poor colt was much too stubborn to admit that he was terrified.
"Any...idea which way is back? Not that I want to go back...just incase...you want to go back or something, you know" he said, desperratly hoping that Tierce had some idea how to get back.

She stood up, quite shaken and unstable. " I don't know which way to go back, I thought you were supposed to be the leader Einstein.", she tried to comeback to calm herself.

Kiefer was freaking out at this point. "But...you were the one that scared me! And i forgot the direction!" he said, his voice a bit higher then normal. He wasn't walking anymore...he would not go back, but he would not advance anymore either. Should they stay where they were, or keep going forward? He regreted making the little wager...both of them were far too stubborn to even consider going back.

"May....maybe if we stay right here someone will find us and help us go home ?", she had no idead how many soquili would actually come to this part of the woods but surely they'd help two little foals in need, wouldn't they ?

((I PM'ed her yesterday (i think) so she should be joining fairly soon, I told her to jump in when ever she had the chance))
"B-but who would be out here?" he asked, looking around. "I don't think many soquili come this far ou..maybe if we yell and scream they will find us.." he gulped "Unless...something else finds us first" he said, shaking visably.
"Maybe we should guess which way is back?" he asked, then remembering the wager. Did it really matter anymore? "Do..you...want to call off the whole...whoever runs out of the woods first thing?" he shook his head, suddenly having another bout of stubbornness. "Because...I don't" he added with a tad of confidence.

" Yeah well me neither, no way I am gonna to lose to a colt like you.", she retorted with much less confidence than she would've liked.
She lowered herself down to the ground and tried to stop from shaking, this definitely wasn't fun now. They were alone, in the woods, atleast she hoped they were alone.

A branch crackled somewhere off the the left. Kiefer felt every muscle in his body tense, his eyes widen, his heart suddenly pounding. Must have been just a squirel. Certainly the little animals still lived way out here...unless of course, even the animals were smart enough to stay away from here?
"Well, then we should...stay here for now. I am getting a bit...tired" he said, beging to feel as if where he was was the most comfortable place to be right now. He looked up into the trees, trying to tell if it had gotten late. Nothing could be seen through the thick folliage, however. It would be night, and he wouldn't know. Kiefer hoped it was day, he was starting to miss the sun.

Being scared can take a lot out of a filly, she foud herself nearly drifting off to sleep in the coolness of the, she'd say afternoon but she wasn't sure anymore. How mch time had passed, would her father come looking for her ? Would help come ?
Against her attempts to stay calm a whimper escaped Tierce as she nuzzled her nose to the earth.

Kiefer's ear flicked a bit as he heard the other filly wimper. He felt guilty...he was the one that had questioned how good girls were, he was the one who suggested exploring the woods. It seemed like he could get nothing down right... all he could ever do was just make other people suffer. Did he always have to lead others into trouble? "We will be fine, Tierce" he mumbled, showing for the first time his more sensative side on this adventure.

Tierce didn't hear the colt's comforting words, she had already fallen asleep. The darkness, the cool dampness, the smell of the earth was a strong pull into the land of sleep. The young filly couldn't resist such a thing.

((I think Mika has a lot going on right now, maybe we could just bag the kalona thing, and if she gets the time, we can run into it anyway ^^)
He glanced at the filly. She was...asleep?!?! How could one fall asleep at a time like this! He shivered, suddenly getting a whole new sense of aloneness now that his sole partner was asleep. "I just wanna go home..." he mumbled, looking in all directions. He turned around 180 degrees. They hadn't zigzagged too much...maybe if they went that way, it would lead close enough to the edge that htey could see their way out?

Tierce's hind left leg thust out from underneath her, twistching in her sleep. She was whining in her sleep.
* The Dream *
Tierce was running fulls peed through the thick tanges of trees, a demonic figure, clouded in darkness, chased after her. She trips over a root and ends up flat on her back. She stares into the glowing eyes and screams.
" AAAAH !!! Don't eat meeeee pleeeease !!!!", she woke up with a start.

Kiefer jumped, eyes wide, the hair on the back of his neck straight up. "What? What is it Tierce! I'll get 'em!" he said, collecting himself back together and getting ready to fight.
He looked around...nothing. The place was still empty. He felt his body shake slightly in fear...something must be here...Tierce screamed. It scared him more that the creature hadn't come out yet..."Tierce, where is it? Where was it? What did it look like?" he stammered.

She hid from embarassment." I think it was a nightmare, but it was real bad !", she tried to convince him." I think it was about one of those, those.. those Kalonas... it was big and dark and scary with great BIG TEETH !"
