Kiefer pressed his ears back onto his head. Why did they want mama and papa so much? He could take care of them. Plus, they would find them eventually, and the fun would certainly stop once they came.

"Pleeeeaaassseee?" he pleaded to his sisters, continuing on his little expedition. There were about four rocks in all, he was on the third. He wasn't going to stay around and be yelled at if his sister's were to scared to come.

"Don't be scardy cats! Mama and Papa will find us soon, don't worry about 'em gettin mad, I'll say it is my idea!" he said, not really caring weather they yelled at him or not. He heard his father's angry voice.

Oh man, this would be bad when they found out he was seperating himself. The only thing that would have kept him would be that he wouldhave to protect his sisters, but his parents would clearly be there soon, and he would be close enough to watch over them until his parents came, so it wouldn't be a problum.

He got onto the fourth, and then dived onto the other shore. Made it! The golden colt could tell from their voices that his parents were very, very near. He dashed as fast as he could to behind a thick bush, and his bright green eyes watched what would happen from behind it. He hoped his sisters wouldn't rat him out, cause this was far too much fun. They would halfta find him on their own.
