[ISH] jhyuuga What can you say? The man is good! heart heart heart heart heart I was reading this little thing where some pop culture mag did an interview way in the beginning of the series... apparently... according to him, He says that... and I quote... "There is a basic love triangle going on... Naruto loves Sakura... Sakura loves Sasuke... and Sasuke loves... Naruto?" I was on the floor! If anyone wants me to find the article, I will go questing again! XD heart heart heart heart heart heart I've heard that rumor, but in the version I heard, he just says it's a love triangle gonk I wish someone could find a translated version of the article, so we could know for sure.

I think Konohamaru-kun just used what he already knew of Sasuke and aged his body by two and a half years- Sasuke still looks like Sasuke. Just a lucky guess.
Anyway, thanks to this chapter, SasuSai is now one of my favorite yaoi pairings xD I love you, Kishimoto! <3

I found some stuff: Naruto and Sasuke kiss (accidentally) in the first chapter where they appear together. Does this add a special dimension to their rivalry? -I didn't have any particular reason for it, other than to surprise the readers. I mainly did it because I don't think there has ever been a manga where two rivals have kissed. Also, by having this encounter, it was easier to set up the love triangle: Sakura, who had intended to be the first one to kiss Sasuke, has it stolen by her rival Naruto. Sasuke and Naruto are rivals, so there's added tension there. And so on and so fourth.

He calls Naruto Sakura's rival, which would imply that he's her rival for Sasuke's affections. And he does mention Sasuke and Naruto as being directly involved in the love triangle. xD Who knows?
