I perfere all version. Each version of the song wheater its in Chinese, Korean, Japanese or International, gives you a different feeling when you listen to it. I personaly like thier songs when they have it in more then one language. I dont know why but it gives a different feeling to it. Like when I listen to Rising sun in Chinese, I can tell the meaning and message is the same but I get a differnt feeling. Hug the international version is sweat and it also give me a little of a differnt feeling. Thats how I feel. ^^ whee

usually I like to stick to original versions, but xsyraix has a raelly good point there.
Well then again here, let me put it this way. I usually choose the original over the other stuff, but I like to listen to ALL versions and maybe test my reaction heart plus i want to hear many languages from THEIR version <3

junkie95 I was wondering which one you guys listened to first and which one you liked better. There are both versions of Rising Sun, O, and Hug that I know of. For me, I listened to all of them in Korean first. I like all of the Korean ones better than the Japanese, mainly because I taught myself how to sing the Korean ones first. I am just used to them now. I like the videos better too. there's a Japanese HUG?!..i dint no that..i only heard it in korean, eng, and chinese..then i heard rising sun, and o in KRN and JPNZ ...and i also heard midohyo in chinese and korean.

The first song I ever heard from DBSK was the Japanese version of Rising Sun, but I prefer the Korean version.
What's funny is that I have 6 different versions of Hug on my iPod: Korean English Japanese Chinese Japanese A Capella Intrusmental
I still prefer the Korean version though.

i don't really mind the different versions. but i do prefer the original version in which the song was written. (let's face it, their chinese and english -discluding yoochun on english- pronounciation isn't so great. ninja )

It really depends on the song but I typically like the original Korean versions because they are just that... original. Because they are original, the melody was intended for the lyrics. In other versions, the lyrics have to fit in with the already created melody so it's harder to write and also not quite the same. Not I think the other versions are bad... I have a a lot their Japanese versions of their songs. I especially love the original versions of Hug and Rising Sun. 8D

Depends on the song. If it was originally written in Korean, the Korean version is always better. But the Japanese singles are usually great, because they haven't been translated and the meanings changed. So... the original version is always better, in my opinion anyway. Though the other versions aren't bad. Just not as good.

Definetly Korean. I have nothing against the other versions, but they sound smoother in Korean. It's also the original, so it sounds the way it's intended to. Sometimes the lyrics in the other languages are a bit off. Take their Chinese songs for instance. ;]
