3. Your preferred means of communication: Anything sensei prefers. Gaia, MSN, AIM, MySpace, I have it all.
4. Hours online: I don't know how to convert it to Pacific Standard Time, but I live in Orlando, FL. I'm on the computer as soon as I can, almost everyday after school. Sometimes I get home around 3:30-4 o'clock, sometimes later. But I'm online at night almost everyday.

Additional comments: I've been trying to self-teach Japanese for a while now, and I've loved the culture since I was very little. So far I memorized almost all of the Hiragana alphabet (including the ones with accents, and ya, yo, yu), but still need to get started on Katakana. I know basic Japanese comunication, introductions, random words, a few colors, and seasons. I try to learn and write down everything I can, but it's hard to get things right without guidance.
I'm interested in learning sentence structure, grammar, verbs, and more vocabulary.
I'm also very proud to say I'm not the type who'll give up easily and forget I ever requested for a Japanese teacher. I'm willing to go to the end, or as far as possible, with tutoring. I'd also like to ask for a teacher who won't forget or give up he or she has a pupil.
I plan to go to Japan someday, and I don't have enough money to pay for my own private classes, and that's why I'm self-teaching.

Hi, I was hoping to find a sensei here so:

Level of Japanese: Introductory (Mostly fangirl Japanese stare )

Hours Online: Just about everyday, Weekdays: 6-7am, 3-10pm. Weekends: 11am-3/4am. XD (And thats California time so I'm not sure if I need to convert or not)

I'm on from 5 to 7 on Tues, Thurs, and Fri, and I'm on almost all day on Sat and Sun. On Mon and Wed I have Tae Kwon Do practices, so I'm usually on only for an hour or two.

Level: Beginner, but I'm a quick learner, especially if it's a snap to understand. ((I've got the basic grammar (SOV) and maybe fifty random words))
Preferred means of Communication: Doesn't matter, I have all of Yahoo, MSN and AIM, although Yahoo I'm not always on because I forget to sign on. ((however, I can remember if someone is willing to teach me but only by Yahoo))
I also have email that I CAN begin to check on a more religious basis, and Gaia which I check every day, if not every hour. ^.^
Time I'm on: When summer comes I'll be on probably every day between 5 and 9, and MOST LIKELY every night from then to whenever I feel like going to bed. Until summer, I'm on from about 5 to 10 or 11 sometimes. ((Central time.))((Pacific time: summer, 7-11 and later, for now, 7-12 or 1))
